My phone is locked how do I turn off find my iphone from the computer
my daughter forgot her passcode and I need to unlock her phone. Obviously I cannot get into the phone to turn off the "find my phone" services. How can I get into the phone

Sign into your account and go to find myd evice, select your daughter's iPhone and then set it up for an erase of the device, then remove it from the account :O
If that doesn't work just put it into recovery mode hereeee...

I downloaded the new IOS& software into my Iphone 5 and I was trying to set the switch controls to make it easier to retrieve Apple Radio. Anyhow, I have locked myself out of my phone because the switch controls will not allow any button to work on the Iphone screen. I want to reset Iphone to an earlier time but I cannot because I can't turn off Find My Iphone from my Iphone settings. Is their anyway to do this from my computer so I can reset my iphone?
My problems is that the Settings App keeps crashing, so I cannot go into Settings to turn off Find My Phone.
I need to Restore my phone to,hopefully, get Settings to work again. But I can't do a Restore until I turn off Find My Phone, which I can't do because Settings keeps crashing.
Talk about a vicious circle.
I went into iCloud/Find My Phone on my laptop and removed my phone. I then went to iTunes to try a Restore but it STILL says I have to turn off Find My Phone. I have done that three times now.
Should I also take the step "Erase My Phone?" I have a great fear of doing that because what happens if I erase the phone and it STILL won't restore? Then I'll be totally screwed.
This all started because I updated to 7.1 yesterday.

How can I turn off "Find My IPhone" when the phone won't turn off but the screen doesn't work?
My IPhone has water damage so the screen has stopped working, even though the phone is still on. I need to restore the phone to send it back to the company, however when I try to restore it on the computer, it prompts that I need to turn of "Find My IPhone" in order to restore the phone. Go to any other device with internet access and log on to icloud.com using the Apple ID that is active on your device. Select "Find My iPhone > Devices" and select the option to erase the device.

If you can’t turn off Find My iPhone on the device, turn off the device so it goes offline, then remove it from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.
Turn off the device.
Sign in to icloud.com/#find on another computer with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
Click All Devices, select the offline device, then click Remove from Account. If you don’t see Remove from Account, click All Devices again, then click the Delete (x) button next to the device.

Do you mean restore the backup to the broken phone? I suppose you could, as well as restoring to a new device, if you have made a backup.

After a little more searching across various online resources I was able to cure it by holding down the home button and the on/off button for 10 seconds to restart it and it all came back with a clear screen. -

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

I just updated to iOS7 and an old appleid popped up. My old password is not recognized so I can't delete the account or turn off find my iphone. The old appleid is linked to an email I don't have anymore, and answers to my security ?'s aren't recognized. Is there any way I can reset my account to my new appleid? This has happened to every iphone and ipad in my family that has updated to iOS7.

How can I turn off find my iPhone to restore when it won't let me into my phone settings.
I went to use my phone last night and suddenly it says activation is required (which I'm not sure I understand alone) but I began to go through the steps and it says it can not activate because the beta has expired and I need to do a system restore. So I proceeded to do the system restore by plugging into iTunes and it tells me it cannot do a restore unless I turn off find my iPhone but my phone will not allow me to look at any settings other than my wifi settings in its current state. How can I turn this off to proceed and what is going on with my phone in general?
Force it into recovery mode to restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Sometimes you have to do this more than once to be successful. After restoring, you'll have to restore an existing backup, if you have one.

the first time this came up i went into icloud on my computer and removed the old phone from there but from what ive read it will only be properly removed when the fone gets turned back on.
