I tried to update to IOS7 thats all I tried and its all gone wrong
It says it cant do it and it now says I ahve to reset to factory settings and that makes me want to cry
I have my extensive diary in there and my photos... argh can anybody help me please
It did back me up to the cloud before doing anything but its not giving me the option to go back to that
and I dont really know how to use itunes!!!

TThankyou so so much for your reply. I was just so scared because it didt say restorefrom backup iit just said back to factory settings and I was scared to loose my calendar! But as you suggest. It did it and it's all ok phew. X

I am trying to update my iTunes so I can sync my new iphone 5s and it doesn't recognize the phone, apple support said I need to update my iTunes when I try and do that I get an error message that says " the ITunes update server could not be contacted. I just got my a new iphone 4 from O2. i plugged in my phone to my computer(windows 7). itunes doesnt open automatically. when i opened the itunes,its still not detecting my phone. on the phone it only shows the cable and itunes logo. please help
Did you try to remove all Apple related software and reinstall iTunes again? Removing iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista and 7

4s stuck in recovery mode. try to restore apple icon comes up but goes itno recovery again. Itunes does not recognise. I wa trying to update software from laptop to phone and errored 4005.

My delete button in my to do's closes the app. I've closed all the background running apps and have restarted my phone and even tried syncing to my iTunes. It's driving me nuts. Please help!
Will not complete a sync without crashing and saying cannot read to the device or something to that effect.

I tried to update my iTunes software on my iPhone today and plugged it into my laptop. Before the process was complete, I received an error message saying I had to "restore" my iPhone before it would work with iTunes. Even more importantly, and troublesome, is the fact that now my phone won't even work at all. I can't turn the iPhone on, and all the screen shows is the iTunes icon with a picture of the white power cord. Can someone advise if there is a way to update the software without restoring my iPhone, which will cause me to lose everything on the phone (much of which I have not backed up yet)? Last, is my stuff already backed up by iCloud? I believe I have sellected that option on my phone, but honestly, have never really understood what iCloud is or does. Thanks in advance for any assistance/advice.

Plz someone help I made custom ringtones and when I try to put them in my iPhone 4 it hey appear gray on iTunes and won't go on my phone and I tried syncing it don't help what do I do???!!!
The ringtone file format is m4r. You can create ringtone from any of your music file in your iTunes Music library.
Follow steps as follow:
1. Right mouse click the song in music library you want to create ringtone and choose “Get Info”
2. Choose “Option” Tab, Check “Start Time” n Stop Time” of the track you want to make into ringtone and put in your start time and end time (Max 40 secs duration), then click OK
3. Right mouse click the music file again and choose “Create AAC Version”
4. You will see a copy of song with same name appeared but with 40sec duration only. Now drag the song onto your desktop and you will see the name is now xxxxxx.m4a.
5. Change the file extension m4a into m4r from the desktop
6. Delete the 40sec m4a file from the music library (You must do this step or Itune will not accept your new m4r file).
7. *Important - Now uncheck the start n stop time of the original song so that you can play back full length.
8. Now, drag the m4r file from desktop to Library
9. Click onto the Tones under Library, and you find you ringone file.
Note: Just in case you cannot "Create AAC version" from Step 3, go to top menu, click "Edit", "Preference". Under "general" Tab, click "Import Settings", make sure under Import Using that "AAC Encoder" is selected.
Once you have ringtones in Tones library, you can sync ringtones over by connecting your phone to PC, select iPhone under Devices on iTunes left Pane, then go to 'Tones' tab and check SYNC TONES as well as the ringtones. Click the SYNC button on the lower right window. -
I am trying to update my iTunes to 10.5.1 so that I can upgrade my 3GS phone but am getting the following error message when trying to install the itunes: Install step failed: Run pre upgrade script for apple mobile device support. Contact software manufacturer for assistance. I am on a MacBook pro running 10.5.8 OS. Has anyone seen this before and how can I get it resolved.

Apps for OSX aren't in iTunes: they are in the App Store in your Applications folder. The payment method is the one registered in iTunes. There's no app actually called Yoga Studio, though there are several Yoga apps. There is an iOS app called Yoga Studio but it appears to have no OSX equivalent, though I haven't done a detailed search.

s anyone else experiencing trouble turning thier phone on after trying to update to the ios 6.0.1? I cannot access my phone at all...Sounds like their was some corruption that occured during the update. Have you tried connecting it to iTunes in recovery mode and restoring it from backup (or to factory settings if from a backup fails)? Use the instructions in this article to walk you through placing your device in recovery mode.

Since 2012 I have Photoshop Elements always worked without any problem, however now the language is suddenly German how can this be changed, removed the program and re-installed, not working. Program is downloaded and updated via the apple app store?
I've done some research on the SQLite database. Whenever Aperture hangs up (like during auto-stack or opening the filter hud) there are thousands of SQLite queries happening. These SQLite queries cause massive file I/O because the database is stored on the disk as 1kb pages. However, the OS is caching the database file; mine's only 12MB. I'm trying to track down some performance numbers for SQLite on osx but having trouble.
It's starting to look like most of the speed problems are in the libraries that Aperture uses instead of the actual Aperture code. Of course, that doesn't completely let the developers off the hook since they choose to use them in the first place.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, the database is completely open to queries using the command line sqlite3 tool. Here's the language reference http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html
