My phone is stuck on activation lock and i cant use my current apple id
basically i cannot activate my iphone 4 s because my old ilcoud account is linked to find my phone so my existing apple id will not work to unlock it if that makes sense...i have tried on itunes an tried to log in to icloud.com...so ppickled can anyone help?
Sorry, but without the Apple ID of the previous owner, the phone can't be used anymore.

The procedure under 10.7 for resetting your password when you don't know your old password requires your Apple-ID. It may not be willing to reset the password using a different Apple-ID.

You will have to find the person whose Apple ID is currently tied to the phone. Only they can remove the activation lock. If you are unable to find them or they won't remove the lock, then your phone is useless. Take it back to the vendor and get your money back if you can. -

Try Restoring it 3 times in a row and see if that works.
If not that error can indicate one of two things: Your iPhone was at one time jailbroken, had the iOS version rolled back, or ran an unauthorized beta and if none of those things are true it is a hardware error. -
