Due to the craze i have over i phone 5 i purchased it online through e bay, actually i need a cdma phone as its not avaliable in india i have ordered it online and i got it in june from then my problems started i am not able to use it, I contacted the seller but it's of no use, I contacted the sprint network people today and they said the phone is active and asked me to consult apple india so please help me sir doing me the favor,really out of my innocence i have purchased it.

There is no CDMA network in India - it does not exist and is only in the US which is what the Sprint and Verizon phones are.
If you purchased a CDMA US phone, then it is very unlikley that it will ever work in India. It definitely won't work on CDMA network as they don't exist in India - end of.
Not sure if the CDMA iPhone 5 has a sim card tray - if so, then insert an Indian sim card into it and you then should be able to use the phone with an Indian carrier. CDMA iPhone 5's should have sim card trays that are unlocked. If so, the phone should work in India, but other than that, you may be saddled with a phone that you can't use.
If you purchased it on e-bay, then it is buyer beware and go and file a claim with E-Bay for misselling and return the phone.
Other than that, this is a public user forum and Apple will not here you here.

I recently got a new iPad and when synching it to my laptop I accidently clicked to replace all of my new information with the old. I had iCloud on the new one and there were many notes saved in it. How can I get them back?

Everthing was replaced including the information under iCloud under settings. My iPad now states that I do not have my iCloud account set up on my iPad as on the old one I did not.

Go to Settings>iCloud and set up the iCloud account you were using before by singing in with the same Apple ID. Then turn the data you were syncing with your iCloud account back to On, and if prompted, choose merge.

It downloaded all my contacts, photo's with no problem. I called the number they gave me from my old phone and then turned it off. I then put the sim card in and charged the phone. I followed all the setup steps and no I cannot send any text or make any phone calls. I get a message that they cannot authenticate my phone to dial #8899 but get the same message.

Extract the photos from the phone to your computer like you would with any other digital camera.
PhotoStream is NOT permanent storage and iCloud photos is in beta, meaning it's not fully cooked yet and you may lose data stored in it.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff.

Hi HARISH INDIA,
That is not good but lets see if we can get it back to life. If you can, see if you can put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you can get it to restore, it will erase everything off your iPhone. If you have a back up in iTunes or iCloud then you can put that on after the restore is complete. I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.
