The servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download iOS7 at the same time.
There is a chance activation servers might be down/slow for now. Just keep trying throughout the day. Some other forum users are experieincing similar things.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

You can only purchase apps and other media for the county's sore in which yu are located. You account, included payment method, also must be associated with that country.
Sam applies for updating apps. Note that not all apps are available in all country so y will not be able to update an app if you are in another country and that app is not available in that country or your account is not associated with that country.
You can change the country and other things by:

Phone not working after update volume. Battery life resets on own

Ever since last ISO update phone not working right. Looses volume. Shuts off Battery life went out to lunch. Texting slow. Any fix yet I see lots of issues. And tec support wants to charge as phone is off warranty. Was working finè before update.

Hi,i have 2 phones Sony Xperia T. Soon after my updates both phones go off when i try do something like :GPS,Map,using the camera,listening music and etc.I've send both phones to repair center in Ashford for Sony and still don't know what is wrong with them.I've spend so much money and time for calling to Sony ,my operator,for sending the phones to Ashford,new phones for the time without the phones.I've been told from Sony that they really sorry ,but can do only repairing. very dissapointed.......

I do have a questiion. I started the most recent iOS update on my iPhone last night and before it was ever completed a message appeared on my screen. It is a pic of the docking/charging cord with an arrow pointing to an iTunes logo...HELP!!!!! I have tried holding down the home key and power button several times and the same message continues to appear.

Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:

Ok, I had the same issue, my phone is unlocked(iphone 5 with 6.1.3). So I went to the apple store and had it replaced. it worked good for a day and started doing the same thing. When the apple tech replaced my phone, he transfered my screen protector to the new one.
so I thought it was my sim card, I put in my sisters sim card from a different carrier and it did the same, so then I was like let me take off the screen protector, and that was it.
so guys, if you have a screen protector on your phone and it's doing "low signal", "No Service", "Searching", "Full bars cycle" then take off the screen protector. so far my phone is working normal.
