My phone number won't show up when I activate iMessage on my iPad 4. It works fine on my iphone 4s but when I active it only my emails show up and no phone number. I tried turning iMessage on and off, rebooting, hard reboot, signing in and out of my Apple ID but nothing seems to work! Any suggestions?

You are doing all of the right things. Just keep trying. I never owned an iPhone until last week, and I was having fits getting my phone number to appear in my settings. I signed out of Messages and FaceTime on my iPhone and my iPad and just kept trying the whole cycle over and over until it worked. It took about 4 or 5 tries before it finally worked.
Sign out of both apps on the phone and the iPad, then start with the phone and sign in again on that device first, then try on the iPad again

What's the format of your video? That will give you a hint as to what plugin is failing (or missing).

In your settings... you have the "My info" VCARD selection with someone else and not your info... just change that and yo'll get what you're expecting to hear when you ask Siri that...

Images won't show up when I try to upload online

I need help to figure out why my photos won't show up when I try to upload them online (e.g. Facebook, Pinterest, Google+). All of my photos are in iPhoto and it used to work fine until I updated to ver 9.3 a coupe of days ago. When I open iPhoto, it shows all the images but when I try to upload something, I couldn't find my photos so I end up copying them to my desktop first which is very inconvenient, especially if I am uploading severa photos. It works alright when I attach photos in Outlook though, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot!
PS I did some screen shots if that would help explain things better. By the way, my OS version is 10.7.4, if that is relevant at all?

Where did you get the phone?
If you see an ICCID unknown in Settings>General>About, that indicates a catastrophic failure. Very often this is caused by hacking or jailbreaking the phone. It can not be fixed. The phone will have to be replaced.

Dude you have a jailbroken phone as stated in your first post, no need to do a second post.

My phone number is not showing in imessage

Hi,
My GSM number is not showing in any of the imessage settings, nor is there any option to add it.
i havr triedd the below from various other threads i have seen on here:
1. Reset network
2. Remove ID from facetime / imessage / icloud / appstore
3. Restore phone to new
4. made sure phone number is in Apple id account on line
But still NO gsm option in imessage, not sure when it was last there, but it used to be there
iphone 5s with latest ios7 build.
Any help would be really cool!!

It happened to me last night, I tried to text a friend and the text didn't deliver from my iPhone6 . I went to my laptop macbook pro and the contacts are in red it completes 90% then stops and I get a not delivered message, this morning my phone seems to be working, laptop still messed up

Thanks for the details. All numbers should show up in the message history log, unless you are communicating via iMessage. When texting the numbers that are missing in the message log are you using your normal messaging app on the device or a downloaded app? Have the numbers that are missing been shown in your message log before?

How to change a phone number that was set-up when you first set Ipad up. Took wife's number instead of mine. Her number is on i-cloud and messaging, face time.

Goto -settings-iCloud-delete account u will then have to set up a new iCloud account.if u do this it will delete anything u may have backed up in iCloud on your old account.

Alll I can say is try to reset your iphone like, taking out the sims card. ALso try loging out of your Facetime and your email on your phone, telll me if that works, and did you try connecting Apple Support Team?

Add a contact with his e-mail address, and send a message to that contact. I would say integrate, but not 100% that it works. A new contact would work.
