my iphone 4s touch pad's lower portion is not working..it is my new phone..when i dail the number i cant write 0 keys ..please help me

Have you done the basic troubleshootings steps ? :
Restart:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
Restore from backup
Restore as new.

Keyboard, Touch pad and battery are not working.

I cannot turn on my Macbook (10.4.11) without the power adapter connected. The keyboard does not work nor does the touch pad. I've searched the forums for anyone else with this problem, there are similar instances but mostly related to Leopard. I'm having to use an external keyboard and mouse to continue working. Looking for fixes.

The left click will not work to highlight text, copy, paste.   The tap and rt click, window pull down, work fine.
Funny... the story matches all of you.   Wanted to remove/install driver, I suggested we look for issues first or ck the dates of drivers.   Seemed to hose my EXPLORER window and speed.   Then the bios change and I said should we ck the dates/Revs and we moved forward.   No reading of fix, or this has been issue and I asked many times is this a issue.   I also saw this on the store demo unit when I was cking them out. NO REPLY.... wish I looked here first and pushed to talk to tech/svc manager.
Phone help tried to take over my computer and link/web would not work it failed!!
Tech also wanted me to do system restore and I declined.   I replied I have not loaded anything yet, only updated Norton and did a little web searching, windows update, HP update.   I also looked at the pad and button settings ... found nothing I missed.   I called them incase there was odd box/set I missed.   I hate being lied to, they know from I am reading here... two threads so far and 2-3 people on each.    I did not want to restor.... nothing is changed.... do not want to exersise the Hard Drive.   Asked her to research problem and find the fix... rather than just keep changing stuff.   The bios was flashed for the same bios rev.
While doing this work with tech.... the pointer went to top and not moved from top right.   The parts of screen starting to flash, the curser would lock, IExplorer got very slow... to 30 sec to load the internet page vs 2 sec
I also just found..... you can switch the fuctions of rt/left button and still copy paste.   But the left button will not pull down the pull down windows.   What a mess!
You can go to system information and print of your currrent list of soft and hard.   That will tell you what is up todate and what is not.

Satellite P750 - touch pad and internet connection not working

At first check what is the status of all hardware components (WLAN, LAN and touchpad) in device manager. Be sure all components are installed properly.
All necessary drivers you can download from Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/dow...ivers_bios.jsp
It is not easy to say what is wrong with touchpad. Be sure the touchpad is enabled properly.

Touch Pad is enabled but not working

I have just this minuet reinstalled Win XP and the touch pad is not working and I cant work out what is coursing this problem....
The Toshiba console is saying that it is enabled but it is not working? Help!

About memory upgrade I can not tell you much because i dont know which notebook model you have.

Twist touch pad and track ball not working

Hello -
We have a Thinkpad Twist S230u with an intel i7 processor. The touchpad and trackball have not worked for quite some time (last 9 months or so) - my boss used this computer and just put up with it, using a wireless mouse. I am now trying to repair it for another staff members use.
So far, I have: Re-installed windows 8, then upgraded to Windows 8.1 pro and ran all updates. Updated the BIOS, uninstalled the synaptics UltraNav driver, then reinstalled the latest driver (run as administrator). I took the keyboard out and checked the connections to the laptop from the touchpad.
Anyone have any other thoughts??

Have you tried booting from a Linux Live CD/DVD/USB drive? If it still does not work, then it is a hardware issue, not a software one.

Touch Pad Mouse dissapeared and not working.

I understand that you are have problems with your touchpad on your notebook, and I am happy to help. Please post the full product number and operating system in use on your notebook. See the following documents if you need help in finding those.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
With that I can find the drivers and support pages for your model.
Since from what you say, it just happened recently, a quick potential fix, is to try a system restore to a point before the problem happened, if a restore point is available. It is quite possible that some update, software install, or something similar could have caused the issue and this is a way to roll back to before it happened.
Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8)
If that does work, then see if the problem recurs later, and try to make note of what software may have caused it.

My MacBook's built in touch pad and keyboard is not working.

Am using a MacBook. It was working perfectly before i plug in a Non Apple USB standard keyboard
into it. when i did that,an error occurred like "please pressing the just after the Right Shift Key Button"
but there was not such kind of button on that keyboard.so i pressed the Shift key instead.
it works that time,but after some time i discovered that,my build in track pad and build in keyboard
stop responding permanently. Now i have to use my MacBook using both USB mouse and keyboard.
Is there any way to fix it?? If there is,would someone please help me,PLEASE!!!!

I don't have an answer, but have suddenly developed a similar problem. Early today we got a new Verizon FIOS router to replace an older one. Once the tech fired the thing up and we got everything in the house logged into it, I noticed that my iPhone 4S wifi speed was mighty low. Using the Speed Test app, I was getting a wavering average of between 4 and 7 Mbps. Even on the old router I was usually getting 20-30 Mbps. I checked all the other devices in my house and noted all were getting at least 25-35 Mbps--including my wife's iPhone 4S, my kids iPod 5, and our iPad 2. The wired Windows desktop gets more than 60 Mbps and the wireless laptop gets more than 40. I tried all the tricks on my iPhone--restarting, forgetting the network and the resetting it, and even resetting all of the network settings. Nothing gets me any faster, yet my wife's iPhone 4s blazes away at 25-35+. I even went into the router and played with disabling WMM and switching (briefly) to b/g mode. No luck. Finally, I decided to take out the new router and put back the old one--the verizon tech was nice enough to leave the old one with me--but my speed did not increase one iota. I'm stumped. It worked fine two days ago, and all of our other Apple devices (including an identical iPhone 4S) are fine and run at super speeds. What happened to my phone?

Given the information supplied, it sounds very similar to what happened to my wife's 4. Locked up...came back on with a blank (bluish) screen...could here emails and text coming through. It would get very hot as well. Our local apple store tried two times to rescue it, ultimately rendering it complete inoperable. I'm sorry to say in our case we had to buy a refurb and trade in the phone for $150, which actually wasn't a bad deal.
There could be other information I'm missing, but I would start with seeing if apple can restore your phone. If they can't, then I'm pretty sure it's dead.

Thank you for heading me in the right direction. I reset my Mail account for Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net:(customer ID)@att.net (instead of smtp.att.yahoo.com, per Apple's online troubleshooting information). I'm not sure what "(Offline)" means when it appears at the end of my Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)?? In the Advanced box I clicked on "Use custom port: 465" and checked "Use Secure Sockets Layer." Authentication: Password; I have correct User Name and Password put in. After doing all this, when I try to send emails again today, they go directly to the Outbox and sit there.
What's curious is that my first sent email this morning did go out using the Outgoing Mail Server, smtp.att.yahoo.com: (customer ID)@att.net(Offline) but subsequent emails I tried to send with this server were rejected with the message: "Cannot send message using the server smtp.att.yahoo.com (etc.). The SMTP server doesn't support TLS(SSL) on port 587. Verify your account settings and try again." That's when I tried resetting my Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net (etc.), as mentioned above, and was unsuccessful in sending out any further emails. I guess my next step is to contact my email service provider, AT&T, and see if they can help me. Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond and for giving me your input! Much appreciated!

Update: I seem to have fixed the problem! I went to the "summary" section of my iPod after clicking on the device on the left side of iTunes. I checked the box that allowed me to "manually manage music and videos" and applied this option. The songs are syncing! And, yay, they're playing on my iPod now! Hopefully, this helps anyone else who might have this problem. There might be other issues, but this is working for now.

Hiya, my ipod touch 4th generation cameras are not working. I had the screen replaced about a month ago and it was working fine. I woke up the other day and went on my camera and it had stopped working, it won't let me change from the front to back camera so i don't know what the problem is: now all it shows when i go on the camera app is the shutter or a black screen. I have tried the advice people have said but it hasn't seemed to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Try:

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

However, it other than Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider did the previous screen replacement , Apple will not help.
For the future, saying that you tried the advice people have said, provides us with zero information as to what yu tried.

Try a hard reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button and the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears.

The warranty would only be valid in the UAE. You'd need to take it back there.

I have the above notebook pc. Normally I use an usb mouse to navigate my notebook. I remember when first purchased the pc that the Touch Pad on & off light would work when I double tap, and I would connect the usb mouse.Now, when I double tap nothing happens. No light at all. The touch pad it self works fine even when the external mouse is connected.I'm just curious why it stopped coming on..........!
