Log in to your icloud account: www.icloud.com
you can track your phone in find my iphone. There is also an option to delete iPhone contents.
Please not that find my iPhone in icloud must be on in order to locate it in the map and also need to be connected to internet.

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. You are probably getting the error because you have a beta version of iOS 7 that expired yesterday. We've had hundreds of posts about this over the past 18 hours. If you are a developer, and thus have a legitimate copy of iOS 7 beta, go to the Developer's forum, where there are detailed instructions on how to resolve this.

How can I restore a phone to factory settings without a menu or "Options"
My daughters phone. 1 year old. She can text and rec texts. Call and receive calls. Alarm clock works. When she hits menu it is blank. She has no Applications. Also the hour glass spins for a minute or two before it turns on. We went to ATT store and they suggested restoring the phone. THat isn't an option becuase she doesn't have the "OPTIONS BUTTON" available to her.
She called tech support thru ATT and they were not able to make any suggestions. ANy ideas.
And NO she did not ever back up her phone to her computer.

Have you done a battery-pop reboot? It can clear some things up. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation.
After that, you can decide if you want to to a Wipe...but one step at a time.

I got a mail from apple that I need to replace my hard drive ( recall). I back up in my timecapsul and restore all my files. After I finished my restore files I realized that I did my laptop one....not desk top files so my desk top looks exact like my lap top.

I recently let my friend use my computer for a few days with the promise that it would run better. When i got it back i found out he torrented Mac OS X 10.7. i have let it sit on my computer for a while but it has caused problems with downloading apps. I would like to know how to downgrade back to the compter was when i orginally bought it. I do not have a startup disk because i bought it from a used mac seller online. also i would like to keep my files, music, games, ETC.
That was an incredibly bad thing your friend did to your computer. A torrent of just about any software you download for the Mac will have malware in it. So that gets installed along with the software you think you're getting for "free".
I wouldn't use that computer for anything where you may type in a password, checking or credit card numbers, or any other type of sensitive data until you've had the chance to backup your important files.
Once you have a way to do so, erase the drive and reinstall the OS, and then reinstall only your legally acquired software. -

I have 10GB of Other Data on my phone. If I restore from backup, all of the Other data is still there. Do I understand correctly, that I can restore to factory settings and then load all of my apps, music, etc back onto my phone from my computer? If so, how do I do that? What data will I lose by doing this?
Thank you!If restoring from a backup still shows the "Other" data, it's likely contained as a part of the backup. You can restore the device and resync that data (apps, music, etc) back to the device. The things to pay attention to would be things like contacts, calendars, and notes -> would want to make sure those were synced with an account of some sort, or saved elsewhere to transfer back to the device. Also, items like messages can't be synchronized back over to the device, unless it's from a backup.

The Firefox Help section describes how to clear history, cache, etc. by using the "Clear Recent History" option, but my version of Firefox (7.0.1) does not have that available.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.
