My phone will not allow me to receive incoming or outgoing calls

My phone will allow me to text and do everything else, accept allow me to answer incoming calls, I can phyically anser it' but there is no sound on either ends. Then when I try to make a call it dials the number- but I am not able to hear the person on the other line- nor are they able to hear me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated- I already turned it on and off.

Restart your phone, and if you can connect it to a computer and update it from iTunes instead of through wifi.

If you changed your Apple ID (which is an email address), then you should be able to sign out of your iTunes Store account and sign back in with the updated information. Take a look at the resources below:

Make sure that you have do not disturb off. If you pull up notification center it will be the crescent moon.

This may work, try deleting the Yahoo email account from your phone and then re-add it, using your new Yahoo password.
If that doesn't work, log into your Yahoo account from a computer and double-check that you are entering the correct password. Also, your password may be case sensitive, so enter it into your iPhone the exact the same way you created it.
Let us know what happens!

If none of the tips in that article resolve the problem you have a hardware failure, probably of the radio chip. If you take it to an Apple store they will replace it if in warranty, or for $199 if out of warranty.
