try a hard reset
press power button and homer button together for 10 secs or till apple logo appears, release keys as soon as u see the apple logo

Click on the blue link I gave. You would need to hook it to a computer running iTunes using a microUSB lead.
If you have an Apple Store nearby take it there and see if they can sort it out.
It is possible the display resolution is wrong - you could try holding menu and up arrow on remote together for 6 seconds which will make it cycle display resolutions - but only if it is actually working but showing a black screen due to wrong resolution selected. -
HELP NEEDED!! Recently upgraded my ipad air to the new update, charged it over night, now it will not come on? i plug in the charger but comes up the normal charging sign but still no life in it? Seems as though theres either a problem it charging or starting up. Had the ipad for about a year and a month or 2.. what can i do to source the problem?
Its just started up with the apple sign, then it goes to an off black coloured screen so its on but nothing showing just a dark screen but not jet black.. ahhh help!! thank you in advance

I recently dropped my iphone 4 from about 15 feet in the air, had an otter box gel case on it and it did not break the screen, but it will not come on, no back light but can still hear the voice contorl and randomly hear music when I push the center button, I have it password locked but can't see to unlock, any help out there
Just guessing here, but dropping your phone is probably the reason your screen or backlight doesn't work.
Only solution I see is to take it to Apple and buy and out of warranty iphone 4. -

no, my do not disturb was not on. and on the do not disturb, you still get calls from those in your favorites. I turned off the vibrate with any call or alert and put the flashing led in the accessible section on.
but it should not do that. it didn't even vibrate. my girlfriend called me and texted me with phone on table while we were at dinner and nothing. it went right to vm she said. tower is full so something is wrong.

I just did a software update on my phone (finally) last night and now my phone will not come on. It keeps showing the charger pointing up to a blue circle with iTunes inside and will not go any further. Can ANYONE help me please???The phone is in restore mode and the picture is telling you what to do. Connect the phone, by cable, to iTunes in the computer you normally use for syncing, and retore the phone.

How long has the Apple logo been displayed for?
I deleted an app that was using an enormous amount of space (15GB) and when I reset the device it took 45 mins for the Apple logo to go away and for my device to start. I guess it took a look time to reclaim all of that memory back. -
