My phone will not "handshake" with iBackupbot anymore.  HELP!!

Firstly, I don't know if this matters or not but my carrier is Verizon and I have an iPhone5.
When I first downloaded iBackupbot, both of my phones were recognized by iBackupbot immediately.  Now neither of them are recognized.  I immediately get the message:
"Handshake with device failed [-5]!  Do you want to try again?
If you have enabled a passcode lock on your device please unlock with the passcode.
If you device invokes a prompt to trust the computer please tap 'Trust'.
Then you can click Yes button to retry connect device, or you can click
No button to ignore this error and iBackupbot will not show App
informations of this of this device."
My phone is password protected.  Is that the same thing as a passcode lock?
I am not being prompted to 'Trust' my computer all the time.  It happens randomly.
When I try to 'restore to device' a back up that I have made, I get the following message.
"Can't restore backup to this device:
The iOS version of the back up [7.0.6] is higher the iOS version of this device[]."
My phone is updated to version 7.0.6 (11B651).  Therefore, they are teh same operating systems.  My devices are just not recognzed since the first time I used iBackupbot.  Ever since the first time I used it, my devices haven't been able to "handshake" since.
Also, when a backup is created in iBackupbot, it does not show up in my iTunes preferences to "backup my phone to "X" date (the backup I created).  I'm not super tech savvy as I'm sure you can tell.  I really need to get this fixed!!
Does anyone know what the problems is?  Do I need to change some settings on my phone?  Do I need to completely unistall iBackupbot and reinstall it?
Answers ASAP please!!!!  Thanks ahead of time if anyone responds.

Try turning off "Find my phone"  that did the trick for me.

    I only synch and do not stream off of my 1st Gen AppleTV
    I will try with ethernet but will be a pain in the butt if i can not fix it with wifi for long term fix
    I may end up trying to do a named IP address vs DHCP for this appleTV (not sure if i can do both and do not want to remove DHCP as i have a bunch of sensors and other devices that I prefer to dynamically add to the network via DHCP vs. assign each one
    Will keep working on other fix options (factory reset, etc.)

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     Contact NIK for updated/upgraded versions of their plug-ins.  They have been having a lot of issues with their plug-ins.

    That is correct.  The iphone will sync with one and only one computer/library at a time.  If you sync to another then it will indeed erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer/library.
    It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Use this to put everything back.
    If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases
    You will also need to enter one unique contact and calendar entry in the computer .  When you first sync, you should get the option to merge.  Otherwise this data will be erased as well.
    Much easier to use your backup copy to put everything back.

    The transfer purchases option only works with music purchased from iTunes and you don't say if this is the case.
    Here's some other option for Windows users.
    First, try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
    Enable your iPod for disk use.
    See: iPod Disk Use.
    Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
    Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
    Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
    The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
    If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
    Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
    Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
    One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
    Another free program is Pod Player.

    Was it pairing before the iOS update?
    If so, delete the pairings in the device and the car, then try again.
    If it was not, the issue is most likely the car.

    Try taking the back off the phone, remove the battery for a second then put back in and put cover back on. Try charging again. Sometimes, phones with removable covers allow static build up between the battery and charging ports. Basically, it just bounces the charge back & forth but can't charge. Lots of times, the battery heats up and if it happens often, can actually damage the battery.  Static build up is caused (mostly) by keeping phones in pockets, pants, coats, sweatshirts.. or even in/out of purses or any other fabric lined anything.  This is also what drains battery life. (The only downfall of removable batteries). Anyway, just get in the habit of removing the battery at least once every couple of days OR at anytime that u feel the battery getting hot. Good luck!
