My phone will not turn on...extremely low poer or serious issue?

my power was low and it shut off and now after charging it for 30 minutes it wont turn on at all. i plugged it into my vcomputer and it still syncs with itunes but it will not turn on.
will restoring it help or does someone else have a solution?

The same thing happened to me. Here's what you need to do.
1. Keep the phone in the charger.
2. Perform a reset by holding down the power button and the home button for about 20-30 seconds or until you see the apple appear.
3. Your phone should work after that.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message.

If the screen is showing you the USB wire pointing to iTunes it is telling you it has entered the recovery mode, and you have to use the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 to connect to iTunes. In summary:

I tried to do the same, but couldn't find ios 6. I even tried the APPstore, to download the last IOS6 version.
The most problem is the running out of the battery.
I've checked each app who is "eating" the most power.
The battery stoped runaway, when I closed the weather service....
So for now, I will use regular internet service, and probbaly will do to more app.
Until, finaly, I will find my self with all the applications closed....:-)
That will be the sign, to replace my phone to anderoid....:-)
Till now, there is no any sign from Apple to have a glance to our complanes.

Take it to your local Apple Store and have the genius take a look. If it won't respond at all, it sounds like a hardware failure.

I dropped my iPhone in water and the phone will not turn back on or charge... I know its probably fried and I need it repaired but is there any possible way I would be able to save the information that was on it. Pictures or videos? Most of my pictures were saved on my i Cloud, but some information had not been uploaded like my videos.
Does apple provide any sort of recovery services?
