My phone won't get 4G

I used to get 4G but recently my phone only get 3G. I've turn off and back on, restart, changed to LTE/CDMA, start on safe mode... I've tried it all and nothing works. Can you please help me with this or please replace my phone. This is a new phone and I can barely open up a Web page.

Try this:
Locate an Application called Caller Name ID. Open it. Click on Account Status. If you don't use this app, check to make sure your status shows it is not enrolled. From there, remove the application using the button within the app, and reboot your phone once it's gone. Once rebooted, go to Settings > App Manager and find Caller Name ID. Force Stop the App, clear all of it's data, and then hit Turn Off.
This app has been known to cause problems notably with getting the phone stuck on 3G/1X by leaving the mobile data radios active. It's also a known issue with battery drain for the same reason, as it doesn't allow the phone to shut down the mobile data periodically during deep sleep. The reason for 3G not transitioning back to LTE is due to eHPRD, which is in essence a hack for allowing a phone to move from a CDMA network onto an LTE (GSM-based) network. It's not a seamless transition despite eHPRD allowing for 3G traffic to run through the same equipment LTE routes through, and when the radio is not allowed to go dormant, the handoff to LTE can oftentimes fail.

So I just went through the new software update, and since my phone has restarted it won't get service. A "Waiting for activation - this may take some time" message popped up after the reset, but nothing else. All I see is "Searching...".
I've never had this issue after an update, and I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue. Usually an activation would happen instantly, so I'm not sure what the issue is or how long I have to wait. Any help would be appreciated!

Reset phone, but phone won't get passed the apple icon

Tried to sync my phone last night on iTunes and it gave me error 13019 and couldn't sync. Since then I have tried to restart my computer, reset phone and now iTunes doesn't show my iPhone and my iPhone won't get passed the apple icon from the reset. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you have set this phone up, then there would not necessarily be a solution here until you have been verify with the provider that everything is provisioned correctly on their end. Since the 3G comes from your cellular provider, if the settings are correct on the phone, then you should work with the carrier next.

Unable to Hard Reset Lumia 800 - Phone Won't Turn ...

My phone won't get past the Nokia image when starting up. I have tried a soft and hard reset without luck.
For a hard reset, instruction say that I should start with the phone off but whenever I turn it off, it starts back up again! Maybe this is what prevents me from doing a hard reset?
Any suggestions please? Volume down, power and camera buttons all held down, etc. but no combination seems to reset it for me.

The only time the phone should restart on its won when you turn it off is if it is the charger was plugged in and the phone charging. Sound to me like a possible hardware issue. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to get it checked out at your local Nokia Care Point.

As stated in the System Requirements, an iPhone 5 runs iOS 6. In order to sync to a computer you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later and iTunes 11 on the computer. If you can upgrade your MacBook to OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) you can purchase this version of OSX in the Apple Store. Most intel macs can run at least OSX 10.6.8. If your MacBook is a power pc Mac you are at the end of the supported operating systems and will not be able to upgrade the OSX or sync your iPhone 5.

I had the same problem when I had my Fascinate.
The best way to get the password changed and to receive emails is to delete http://vz.to/ZVexiW the email account and readd http://vz.to/15pw16c it to the phone.
This should get the emails flowing in for you.

I got Troubles too with iphone 4s with the new iOS 8, its unstable, apple said its for that model to but its not totally true, well few troubles disappear if you do this:
First you need to Sync your iphone like regular you do it, but check you could made a Saffety and restore back up manually in your computer.
then when this it's already done, disconnect your iphone, then restore your iphone as factory settings, beware! don't do this if you don't have your Saffety copy first!
when you restore your iphone as factory settings iTunes will ask you if this is a new phone or a previous phone, well, select previous iphone and select the back up copy you made, and let iTunes restore all, that fix a few issues in my phone, but the real problem its iOS 8 its not good for 4s.

2.2 update phone won't or get texts

I have pinpointed the problem. The problem is the WIFI and sleep mode. If you are connected to a WIFI hotspot and have 3G on you will not get calls or texts in sleep mode. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem.
1) Turn off WIFI
2) Put phone in sleep mode.
3) Call your phone, it works fine.
4) Turn On WIFI but do not use any app that will use the WIFI.
5) Put phone in sleep mode right away.
6) Call your phone, again it works fine.
7) Use Safari or any app that will access the WIFI connection.
8) Put phone in sleep mode.
9) Call your phone, this time it won't ring. You won't get texts or VM notifications either.
You have one of 3 choices to get around this problem.
1) Never let you phone go into sleep mode. Yeah right.
2) Turn off WIFI.
3) Turn off 3G.
All 3 of these choices are unacceptable but it may help you cope till the problem is fixed.
I know this is not a viable solution but maybe it will help the dopes at Apple get their stuff together. Every update they put has effected me in a negative way. 1st time I tried to update it bricked my phone and I had to fight tooth and nail for them to give me a new one. This is my buisness phone and I can't afford to miss calls and texts or VM. I had to pay $599(already had contract) for this P.O.S. You got me once Steve but never again.

I had the same error when I was updating, called and spoke to Apple and was directed to disconect my phone, go into C:/documents and settings/owner/application data/apple computer/i tunes
Once there I was told to delete the folders "iPhone Software Updates" and "iPhone updater logs" as well as (these will only apply if you also sync an iPod) "iPod Software updates" and "iPod updater logs"
I was then told to reconnect my phone which prompted a new download of the 2.0 software and it installed without a hitch.
The explanation I got was that sometimes during download the file can be slightly corrupted so this is the way to start with a fresh download and make sure that the iPhone tries to install from the fresh and not the old.
Dunno if it is reliable for everyone but it worked for me.

A Sprint phone is a CDMA phone and it will be the same as Verizon, which is also CDMA. You will not need a sim card for a CDMA phone to work in the US - it connects to the correct network and you can only use a Sprint iPhone on the Sprint network.
There should be a sim card slot, but this is only for use when travelling with local sim cards - if you are in the US you have to use the phone on Sprint because it is a Sprint phone and you then don't need a sim card to connect to a CDMA network which is why you probably never received one.
If the phone won't work, then you need to return it for a full refund as has already been suggested and purchase another iPhone either from Apple or from the phone carrier that you wish to use your phone with.
You also need to be aware of what phone you are purchasig before you do so from a source like Craiglist.
Ultimately, you can only use a Sprint phone on the Sprint network and you don't need a sim card for that.

How recently did you switch? If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account. The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices. I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...
