My phones charge isn't lasting a day anymore is this something Apple can fix?
My iphone 5's charge keeps going down really quick and isn't lasting a day. Is there a way Apple can fix this if I went to the Apple shop?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I just bought a macbook pro and I want to know how to restore pictures that were backed up on iCloud but then deleted from my phone. Isn't that the point of the backup so I can delete and make more space. Please help!

Then launch iPhoto and set iPhoto's Photo Stream preferences to the following:
Then check the Photo Stream section of iPhoto:
This is to confirm that the photos are still in Photo Stream. If they are they will be imported into the library.
NOTE: not all photos in an iPhone will be in the Photo Stream. PS only keeps photos in it for 30 days.
If you have the missing photos in your library put them in an album. Connect your iPhone to the Mac and open iTunes. In iTunes you can select that album in the library and sync the photos to your iPhone to get them back on the iPhone.

I have a 16GB 3GS phone since about20 months now. For the last few days, my phone is constantly giving me message that the accessory attached to my phone is not optimized for this iphone. You may experience noise or poor communication, while there is no acessory attached to it. I always used standard headphones and charging cable. Now when i recall, it started at one of the sync sessions with my itunes. I have turned my phone off and aon again and again but the message keeps coming every one or two minutes.I have also started loosing voicce on different applications like youtube etc. Also the ringer volume up and down key does not show me the small boxes increasing or decreasing on screen. The phone is playing crazy. Can someone help please

ZiaIt helped earlier but it has come back again. I don't know what to do. I tried what you said earlier but this time even this is not working either. And quite intrestingly my phone won't turn off. I turn it off, it goes off and then restarts on its own and then keep giving the same message again and again.
Could it be a charging cable, is there any chance that the cable which was working fine one day could turn to be "incompatible" with iphone the other day????????

I have charged I pod the last 2 days but the apple symbol displays. I tried resetting I pod but the low battery symbol displays. Any ideas??

After downloading the ios6, battery life doesn't even last a day on my 3gs Iphone. Used to download podcasts to music and now have to use the pos Podcast app.It doesn't download the podcasts half the time IOs 6 *****! Am getting an opaque strip about 1inch wide across bottom of home screen for the last two days. How can I clear this please?
Have you maybe removed all the apps from the dock? the dock is the strip that remains constant and shows the apps that you place there across all sprinboard pages.

I have a 2014 15" Retina display Macbook Pro.
Moving on from my 13" 2012 Macbook Pro the charger on the 2014 model isn't as good and keeps flicking out, and not staying in place.
Unfortunately it flicked out on its own at the wrong point, when I was closing the screen. This resulted in the screen cracking!! Because this is a fault with the Macbook's charger that has cracked my screen, will apple cover it and replace my screen?
If not does anyone know how much screen replacements cost at apple?
I have applecare but screen damage does not cover it.
Thanks guys!There's no one from Apple here, so we can't advise you on what it would cost to replace the screen. You should just take the machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP (making an appointment first) and get and estimate for replacement.
I doubt that Apple will fix the screen gratis - they will likely pin it down to a user accident. If you can actually demonstrate that it's the fault of the adapter, you may get a break.

I am using Java mail to send emails out at work through my web email account.
Sometimes it works fine, but after a while, it gives me the following error :
javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;

I waited for a few days, and tried one more time, it worked again for a few emails, then it failed again. I went into my Thunderbird where I had this web account set up so I can both send and receive emails, I tried to send out an email, it worked, then I used my Java email program to send email from work through this web account, it works again. It seems Thunderbird can fix the problem for me. Does any one know how I can fix it in Java so I don't have to start Thunderbird and send an email to fix the error ?
FrankYou're confusing things here by using your ISP's mail server at work instead
of your work mail server.
Still, your ISP's mail server is probably imposing similar restrictions as your
work mail server. It doesn't want to allow just anyone to connect and send
mail to anywhere. That's how spam is sent. Most people control this by requiring
you to login to the SMTP server before it will let you send mail. Some people use
the hack of requiring you to login to the POP3 server first, and then it will allow
you to connect to the SMTP server without logging in and will allow you to send
mail.
You seem to be missing some basic understanding of JavaMail and what it
means to "connect to a mail server". Maybe you don't understand the difference
between a Store and a Transport. POP3 is a Store protocol. SMTP is a Transport
protocol.
The JavaMail demo directory is full of programs that should how to connect to
a mail server (Store) to read messages, the most useful of which is the msgshow.java
demo program. JavaMail doesn't require you to wire in knowledge of the Store
protocol. You can write a program that can connect to any type of Store, and then
tell it at runtime to use the "pop3" protocol. Looking at msgshow.java, if you pass
"pop3" as the protocol argument ("-T pop3"), it will connect to a POP3 mail server. -
Phone does not sync w/exchange. When is this going to get fixed? My smart phone is now a dumb phone?

<Edited by Host>Sorry, quite right. My note was not helpful, just plain frustrated. the sync does not hold. So the phone keeps trying to establish the synchronization. Thus, it zero's out the emails and intermittently does not hold the calendar, the phone shows the calendar unchecked. When you manually recheck the calendar it begins to sync. There was quite a lot of blogging about the issues of exchange and the iphone. Also contacts will revert to telphone numbers only with the name of the individuals disappearing. After sync is restablished everything looks normal and then when it losses synchronicity, it starts all over again. It is happening as I type. There were a nbr of user suggestions about how to maintain stablility with synchronicity. However, none of the issues resolved the matter. I have spoken with my IT department. What settings do you have for exchange....what version of exchange. I also heard the apple dismissed its chief overseeing this aspect of the iphone 5 because of the issues.

Backup the iPhone to your computer via iTunes. Reset it to factory (complete reset in settings -> general menu). DO NOT RESTORE it just yet. Do a complete charge on it and see if this fixes it. If not, it is a hardware fault and needs to be fixed.

If you do not see those entries then that means that the history was deleted.
This can also be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
