My Photo Booth is hazey and not bright anymore

I am having a problem with the PhotoBooth, it is very fogey and not clear, at the upper right is very little bright spot left...Would appreciate someone who can help with this issue..

The SMC reset often fixes your problem. Be sure you follow the instructions for your particular Mac model.

Recently I noticed that when I change the name of a photo (correcting a mistake) it always goes back to the previous name, keeping the mistake I'm trying to correct. A spelling mistake, for example. As I keep my photos organized by name and not by date, this is very annoying.
And today it won't even read my camera's sd card, and I try with 2 different ones. If I restart the computer, leaving the memory card in, then it reads it; but if I pull it out and push it back in it doesn't see it. Whath am I doing wrong, if anything?

Where/how are you trying to change the name? If it is in Finder (after you've downloaded the pics to your desktop), highlight the pic icon and press Return. the name field will change and you can type in your new name. Hit Return again. That should make it "stick". If you're trying to do it elsewhere, please post the steps that you've tried.
As for your card: do you eject it properly? Either drag icon to trash or hit the eject symbol in the sidebar?

You can call Apple Customer Support 1-800-767-2775, provide the Serial Number and specifications of the Mac, and for a fee, a replacement set of system discs (if available), can be ordered.
However, the discs will be for the original version of OS, that was pre-installed, when the Mac was manufactured.

I went to use photo booth last night and it doesn't have the 3 second delay anymore. I was resourceful and was able to stand away from my iPad and take the picture using the earphones + volume. But where did the delay go?

Photo browser in Mail does not work anymore

Since upgrading from Leopard to Mt Lion, the photo browser in Mail does not work anymore and I also cannot drag and drop photos from iPhoto into Mail. Any idea how to solve ?

Why is it that text in Mavericks and Safari renders as medium gray and not black, anymore? In Mountain Lion and Safari 6.x this was not a problem.

Have registered the following to the feedback link above by macjack:
Mavericks renders most text as a gray (65 +/- in all three RGB using Digital Color Meter) and not black.
This is a big change from pre-Mavericks and is especially difficult in Safari; worse still in Safari "Reader" where sub-heads in Reader-ized text are still paler.
Especially for older eyes this does not fly. This user is close to downgrading to Mountain Lion and Safari 6, where this was not a problem.
Stout rap on the nose: Jony Ive should be shorn of his glasses/contacts and forced to read only on these displays and OS versions until he cries out for the opthomalogist. One can only conclude this problem exists because those who came up with it were never in need of actually using it.
Make the text BLACK.

This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want.

Same issue here both with my iphone 5S as well as my iPad2. THe sync to my macbook air does not complete and it shows a large overcapacity level when connected, but once I disconnect there is plenty of room (4 GB) available, not a 20 GB overage.

Photo Booth new effects are not working on Lion

The new face-tracking effects for Photo Booth are not working for some reason. They just look like there's no effect for them. I've tried rebooting my iMac and I know my mac can support Lion because everything else works fine. Is ther any way i could fix this? Maybe uninstall then reinstall Photo Booth? I was really excited for this feture and im so dissapointed that it's not working

In my case, IMac OS 10.7 Lion, I can't use Photo booth which it said "Check with the developer to make sue Photo Booth works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstll the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X."

IChat/Photo Booth "Green Screen" Effects not entirely working.

They kind of work, but it looks like I have lots of holes in me, and the background has some holes in it too.
Anyone else having this problem?

My Photo Booth effects all suck big time. In well lit areas wearing colors with a different color background, no matter what effect I use, all look horrible. I've tried all white background with dark clothing and vice versa with 100% crappy results. No other apps running. I have a MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Core 2 Duo with 3 GB RAM. Everything else runs fantastic. Photo Booth *****. I've tried it with several friends over iChat Video and it's not viewable at all. Been thru a dozen different lighting scenarios and as many clothing changes, nothing seems to help.
Anyone have any other suggestions ?

Lion Photo booth effects dizzy and lovestruck are broken.

I just got lion and I think it is really cool. But when I go to photobooth the dizzy and lovestruck effects have black boxes around the birds and hearts. I have the more photo booth effects pack installed, but one of my friends who also has lion does and It works fine for him. I also have lion on another one of my older macs and the effects work fine on it. I havent done anything to photobooth It was just like that after I got lion. Any help will be apreciated.
