My Photo Creation Don't save my projects

Hi,
I installed (even twice) the HP Photo Creation.
when i tried to save a project the software get stacked.
i notice that a new directory created in the right path, but it empty.
every time i have to wait more than 20 minutes and nothing happened.

How can I properly save a project in Photo Creations?

I love photo creations and have fun making my own cards, calendars and editing prints. When I complete a project I save it in My Pictures Folder (Windows XP ). However, when I open it up, the picture is too small to make even a 4X6 print. All of the icons that I used are in the folder) Same thing when I saved it in the Projects. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Thanks for asking. HP Photo Creations uses the small pictures in the project folder to display previews on screen. To print a saved project, open it by clicking the Open button in HP Photo Creations, and then click the Print & Order tab.
You can think of the project folder as a big file. When you open it from within the program, HP Photo Creations loads all the little pieces automatically. There's no need to dig through the folder.

Are you saying you want to delete your projects?
Before you do that, consider saving them to a flash drive or uploading them with the Share button. If you click the "personalize and print" checkbox, you'll be able to print your project again or make changes later. (See image below.)

HP Photo Creations - Save as image file

I've just spent the best part of 3 hours creating two photo collages in this application and cannot for the life of me see how I save the project as an image file.
The only option I have found is to save it as a 'project'.
Please tell me I haven't wasted my time?
I even shared it somewhere, rocket something or other. Can't do anything useful with it from there either. So I'd like to know how I can delete the published project too please.

The Share function in HP Photo Creations offers sharing via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email, web link, and embedding. In addition, people with whom you share the project can print it in full resolution. How else would you like to share your projects?
Incidentally, here's how I used Microsoft's Snipping Tool to capture an image of the fullscreen preview on Windows 7:
Launch Snipping Tool. Choose Rectangular Snip mode.
Click Full to set HP Photo Creations project to fullscreen mode.
Press Alt-Tab to call up Snipping Tool.
Press Alt-N to create a new snip.
Click and drag around the area you want on the HP Photo Creations window.
As mentioned above, the sharing option creates a link to a printable (and re-sharable) version, so it's a better-looking approach. Again, let us know what you're hoping to do with your images and we may be able to suggest a way to do it.

Photo Creations Save

After hours of work making changes and improving my Photo Album on HP Photo Creations I closed and hit the wrong button and thus did not save my work. Can I rescue my changes or must I start over and edit it all again?

Thank you for using the HP Photo Creations software. Unfortunately, projects are stored directly on your computer so if the project was not saved it cannot be recovered. We do recommend saving your project often as you create.
Fortunately HP Photo Creations has Smart Arrangement Technology which will lay out your photos in an artistic layout and you can create your photo book in as little as 3 minutes. I hope that you will create your project again and allow the Smart Arrangement to work for you and you will have fun with all of the Borders, themes and placeable graphics.

Not displaying photos and does not save projects

Hi all
things just go from bad to worse for me!
apple's update fixed my big problem of disapearing buttons but still made imovie unstable in MY user account (it worked for about 1hr now quits as soon as it opens)
so i created a new user account
it at least works BUT
- does not save my projects. if i quit and then reopen - all my work has gone. (no error message is displayed) it saved the fisrt time i used it in this new user account, now, no more.
- also - when i add a photo to the movie, it never displays. its just black. its a photo thats form iphoto in the meadia broswer window within imovie.
honestly if there are any apple people reading - its very VERY frustrating having purschased something a month or so ago and not being able to use it still.
hopefully someone out there can help!

I saved a .PSE photo creation project. Why can't Elements version 9 open a project created in Elements 8?

I can't open my project after HP Photo Creations update.

After updating to a new version of HP Photo Creatinos i can't open my project. I created it in old version and when i try to open it in a new version of HP Photo Creations - it's nothing happens. It doesn't open my project and no any message shown... How can i open my old project in a new version?

I backed up my iPhone onto iCloud, and now any new pictures I take don't save in my camera roll. And when I try to open the photo app it turns white and eventually closes out of the app

iCloud only give so much space for free storage, then if you exceed the limit of 5gb you have to pay for additional storage.

Where is the Unlock button in HP Photo Creations to move a Photobook page?

I am trying to create a Photobook. I fail to find the Unlock button in the Storyboard to change the position of a page in my book. Please help if you can.

Hi Una.
Thanks. I understand what's happening now. It's not possible to move the pages of a print-at-home book, because the program is designed to allow you to print each page individually. If you're adventurous, though, here's a trick you can use to preview the pages side by side: Set your region to United States, which will enable the ship-to-home projects.
Note that changing the region requires you to restart the program, so if you've started a project, be sure to save it first. Next, click the Globe button and select United States from the region list.
Next steps:
If you had started a photo book pages project, click the Open button to open it.
Click the Full Catalog button.
Click the Ship-To-Home tab and select one of the ship-to-home books with the same shape (for example, landscape).
Click the Apply Design button to copy your design to the ship-to-home book.
Edit as desired.
Click the Catalog button.
Copy your design back to a print-at-home "photo book pages" project.
Print.
Remember to set your region back to Ireland when you're done.

Ho to save a project

In HP Photo Creations, I can find how to open a project, how to view saved projects, and how to view recently viewed projects. I cannot, however, find any screen, any button, any field, to SAVE a project. I'm beginning to suspect that the ability to save a project was removed from the software. Is that the case? If not, where the heck is the "Save" button? On what screen? On what part of that screen? Thanks.

Sorry, I found the solution and should have posted it here.
Even though I don't use IE, the HP software does, and it was an IE (IE = Internet Explorer) setting that I'd played with in the past in an attempt to get an online video to play correctly. The souce of my problem may or may not apply to someone else; it's a bit unlikely, but here goes...
I've re-created and solved the problem several times, and I've determined that ALL of the following steps are requried. Don't skip anything.
Start IE
Tools \ Internet Options
Advanced tab
Un-check the top option: Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering
OK
Exit IE
Reboot the computer
Start IE
Tools \ Internet Options
Advanced Tab
Reset…
No need to check the Personal Settings box
Reset
Close
Exit IE
At this point the Save buttons are present in HP Photo Creations.
Even if you don't have that same option checked, going through the reset process may fix your problem. If resetting doesn't immediately solve the problem, try a reboot afterward.

You can upload them means you can save them too:
You can upload .bmp, .gif, .png, and .jpg file formats to use in your photo creations.
and:
Altering or editing files from saved projects is not recommended or supported. If you attempt to alter a project with third-party software, your project could be damaged.

How to print regular photos with photo creation

I installed Photo Creation, and I want to print photos, I don't want design, how can i print normal prints.

To print plain photos in HP Photo Creations, select the Prints project rather than the Collage Prints project. (Collage prints let you place up to 60 items on a page, including photos, graphics, and text.)
Here's a step-by-step guide to making single plain prints in sizes from 4x6 up:

HP Photo Creations doesn't have a preset for wallet-size prints, so in that case, you can use the Collage Prints project to group multiple copies of the same photo on a page. Here's how:
Start with the Plain White theme. It's in the Contemporary category.
Add your photo.
Click the Photos tools and then the Used Photos tab. You'll see a small version of your photo there.
Click the photo in the Used Photos area several more times to add multiple copies to the layout. In the example below, we added ten copies total.
Click the Design tools. Then click the Photo Layouts tab.
Select the Basic category and then click the fourth preset. It looks like a big square. Your photos should line up as shown below.
