My photo stream web page is in the wrong order
I've been using the photo stream to share photos with family via the web link. Until today, it was working perfectly. Today, the order of the photos suddenly rearranged themselves with no action on my end. I haven't uploaded any photos in several days. The order of the photos is correct on my phone, which is even more confusing.
Is there anything else I could try.
Not sure. I would likely test an x264 export of the image sequence from QT 7 Pro or MPEG Streamclip (or from HandBrake if your system is not configured with the x264 codec) and see if the result was any better. This is not a problem I run into very often and, even then, the files were sent to me with no real indication of how they were originally encoded.
Or do you know how I can analise the exported file?
Not really... but it would be nice to have a tool which indicated the current frame type and listed pointers to frames/stacks of frames used for rendering reference.

You need Mt. Lion in order to use Shared Photo Streams.

Hi you have basicly 2 Options.
1 -if you Switch One fotostream on all 3 devices of yours which are working on the same apple id -all Fotos you Take with your iPad will be synchronized via icloud to the other 2 decvices ( w-lan and battery depending).
2- If you select foots or a whole album in iPhoto on your air or iMac and choose than puplish --> fotostream --> new or existing event you can key in a friends mail. If this friend has iCloud and iPhoto ( for iMac or MacBook ) and click on the link in the email it will download this fotos in the fotostream section in iPhoto. If he has a iPad, iPhone,... It will do it in the foto app and if he doesn't have a iCloud account at all and you choose "public web site" while publishing he can see your fotostream on a website. -

How can I see photos from my photo stream on my pc with the iCloud application installed on my pc.
I want to download the photos from my iCloud onto my PC. I installed the iCloud for PC and can open it, but cannot figure out how to see the photos. Photo Streaming in turned on for the iCloud.
Check Pictures>Photo Stream>My Photo Stream. Note: when you turn it on you will only see photos from the last 30 days as photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. Although I have two screens I still need to keep my windows quite small and I was wondering if it was possible to automatically reduce the size of the web page to match the size of the available space in the window instead of having side bars sliders so if I needed to read text then I could just increase the window size and the web page would expand accordingly.
Enable audience for that webpart. Keep users who have access to that list\library :)

In addition the US Supreme Court has ruled that making a copy of a DVD for personal use or as a backup is perfectly legal, we've been doing that with CDs for as long as it has been possible, same for video tapes.
What is illegal is breaking any DRM protection on the media (this holds true for all media not just DVDs) and actually even this is a bit murky. What is definitely illegal is to sell software to break DRM. However if you write your own DRM breaking software and use it to make personal copies or backups the law gets real gray.
So again as long as there is no DRM involved its OK, with DRM you're best to leave it alone.

all the links in the header of any websites are not working, the cursor is not changing into pointer and no way to click on any link located at the top of any website page. I reinstalled firefox and it s the same. No problem in others browser. the tool bar is working but not the links inside any web page located between the top 300px height.

I have a problem with two PDF's when trying to open them through a link on a web page. The two PDF's open fine with Adobe on my own PC and on the server I have copied it to but when they are opened through a link on a web page (pointing to the server where the PDFs open fine) I get an error 'There was an error processing a page. Invalid function resource' The other one just doesn't open at all. Can anyone help with this please?

picture size...in putting together a book I can move photos onto a page and enlarge the picture but is there a way to reduce the picture size? some cases I want a smaller picture and if I change the size of the picture box I only get a portion of the image. I want to reduce the image to fit the size of the box.
If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}

My wife's photo stream is showing up in the new photos app
Just dowloaded the new update, but my wife's photo stream is now showing in the new app on my computer. We are using family sharing, but can't figure out why her photos should be appearing. Help!!
No solution to offer, but I can say that you are not alone. I am having the same exact problem.
I installed "Photos" around April 8. "My Photo Stream" shows up in the sidebar containing pictures up through April 6 - nothing later. Photos taken with my iPhone since then do not show up.
My iPhone and iPad both have Photostream on and working. Photos taken with either show up almost immediately on both devices. It is only "Photos" on the desktop machine which is broken. Like you, I have tried turning Photostream on/off, restarted both desktop machine and phone. Nothing. "Photos" photo stream is stuck in time at April 6. -

My iPad has deleted 700 photos off the photo stream on that device. The pictures are still on my Mac iPhoto in the photo stream. How do I get them to reappear on the iPad?
When did this deletion happen? Which version of iOS 8 do you have on your iPad? Depending on your settings you may not see My Photo Stream on the iPad any longer. With iOS 8 "My Photo Stream" will only show on the iPad, if you did not enable iCloud Photo Library (Beta).

I just updated to 10.8.4 and my mail program is showing a series of boxes with AAAAs inside them instead of the email addresses. Also when on Safari web pages are displaying the same AAAAAs instead of type. Firefox displays fine. Can someone help me?
Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until you see a progress bar towards the bottom of the screen. You can let go of the Shift key at that point.
OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally. This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode.
Next, close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and the current user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac. -
How do I move photos that were taken when photo stream was turned off into the photo stream on my iPad2?
You will need to do that by syncing them with a computer and then syncing the computer with the iPad.
