My photo stream won't sync with my devices to my lap top. iCloud is turned on on everything. Have the latest os

The icloud on my Mac Book Pro won't sync photos from my devices (iPhone and iPad) using photostream. The devices sync to each other just not the lap top. Everything is turned on in settings..iCloud and photostream.

You need to go in to iPhoto on your MacBook Pro and turn on photostream in the Settings/Preferences of iPhoto.

why the last photos in photo stream are not sync with my iPad?

Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

  • MacBook Pro won't sync with other devices

My MacBook pro won't sync with other devices in the house.  My iPad and iPhone sync OK but MacBook won't for some reason.  Can you help?

Sign into your account in iTunes - from that page you should be able to deauthorise ALL 5 authorised computers - supposedly you can do this once a year.
Thereafter any devices you no longer have will be deauthorised, and you can reauthorise those you still have or are new.

  • HT201317 Photo stream won't sync all photos that I add to it

I recently downloaded iPhoto to my Mac so that I could easily get all of my pictures from my photo stream onto my computer.
In the default stream I have 558 photos. iPhoto will only sync about 400 of them. So I decided to create a shared photo stream and added all of the images from the main one into that one. However it will not add them to the stream at all.
It initially added them all, but as it syncs the number of photos in that stream keeps going down. It is down to about 200 at the time of writing this and it is still steadily deleting the photos.
Why will my photo stream not sync properly?

That's she way it works. See here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486
    Relevant section:
When do photos upload to My Photo Stream?
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
iOS devices: New photos you take are automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
Macs: Any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.1 or later: Open a Windows Explorer window and under Favorites select iCloud Photos if you are using iCloud Control Panel 3.0 or later (or Photo Stream if you are using 2.1 to 2.1.3). Open My Photo Stream. Click the "Add photos" button. Select the photos to import to My Photo Stream, then click Open.

  • Finding a photo that won't sync with my iPad

I have photos synchronized from iPhoto to my iPad.   One photo, 014.jpg gives an error when I synchronize.
So I went to my iPhoto and searched for 014.jpg.    This found a lot of phots with names such as P1010014.   I opened iPhoto and renamed every photo named 014 to different names such as a014, b014, c014, d014 and then unplugged and repluggd my iPad.
    It still tells me:
Some of your photos, including the photo "014.JPG", were
not copied to the iPad "Howard Brazee's iPad" because
they cannot be displayed on your iPad.
So how do I find the photo in question?

When I synchronize my iPad with my iPhoto, some photos don't get
copied over because they are apparently incompatible.
I go to Spotlight and look for the photo mentioned, say 014.jpg.   It
finds the 014.jpg files, and I see one of them doesn't display when I
move my mouse over it.   I open that photo and it looks just fine in
iPhoto.    If I delete that photo in iPhoto, my next synchronization
goes past it to the next "bad" photo.
    So I have two questions:
    1.   Is there a way to find all of the "bad" photos at once, instead
    of one per synchronization?
    2.   Is there a way to fix the photos that look fine in iPhoto, but
which Spotlight and my iPad can't display?

  • My photo stream will not sync with window 7 computer

    So frustrating!

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane on your Mac:
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • TS3989 Photo Stream won't upload to iOS devices

My Photo Stream has 999 photo's currently showing in iPhoto, but my iOS devices stop uploading at 195 photos.  Is there a way to refresh the uploading process without having to turn off/on Photo Stream in the settings?

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

  • My photo stream-need to sync across all devices, that's the purpose right?

We have iPhone 5Cs, an iPad, and a computer that runs windows 7.  We used to be able to use the My Photo Stream across devices just fine.  When I took a picture on my iPhone it would automatically sync to My Photo Stream on my computer.  When we took pictures on our iPad same thing, when my son takes pictures on his iPhone it would also sync seamlessly to My Photo Stream on our computer.  It is enabled, but when I click on the icon in My Favorites it says it's not enabled and to open iCloud, I do but then it is clearly clicked on to enable.  I have signed out of all iCloud accounts and signed back in to no avail.  I pay for extra storage on iCloud because the hope was I would be able to sync pictures across all devices, 2 iPhones, iPad, computer, and iCloud.  But this isn't happening.  I want to be able to take a picture with my phone and (when connected to Wi-Fi) be able to have that sync to my computer and the iCloud especially.  What is wrong?

In fact when I uninstalled iCloud and reinstalled it, I thought it had fixed itself, because it did revert back to the default location and the My Photo Stream was showing up, oddly enough when I took a picture on the phone and went back into the My Photo Stream it would come up with the error message that "iCloud Photos is not enabled" which it clearly was before I took the picture.  It had My Photo Stream with no photos in it.  Am I missing a setting?

  • Photo Stream not in sync between iOS devices...

This may not actually be a technical issue - it may be the way that it's designed. But if it is, then it seems pretty flawed.
I own an iPad, iPhone, Apple TV and Macbook Pro. Photo Stream pictures are not in sync - ie: I deleted several from my Apple TV earlier but they appear on all other devices and don't seem to be updating.
Is this the way it should be?
    Any help welcomed.
    Thanks

Thank you for that, it's strange you can't do the same thing from the supplied remote.
However, the previous response still applies, deleting photos from photostream on a device only deletes them on that device. (If you do it on the phone for example, it tells you that).

  • IPad won't sync with my Macbook Pro and iPhone through iCloud

Since I have activated iCloud my Mac Book pro are syncing contact and iCal fine.  However, I can't get my iPad to sync with either.  I have all the setting set on my iPad for syncing via iCloud but the syncing is not working either way.

Then suddenly mt iPad synced. I think the key was I looked at other sync problem posts and tried to make sure all my iPad settings were the same s those on my phone and iMac that were syncing

I am able to sync my phone and get apps, books, and music (thankfully from my phone to my latest computer, but not vice versa. In order to update and downlaod the IOS software it says I need to back up all of my info. Will purchasing the latest subscription of icloud 24.99 per year help me or should I just excpet that I will lose my lateset notes, text messages, and contacts through the update. I also want to make sure that after I update, I will be able to get all of the info back onto my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Notes won't sync with other devices

No problems sharing notes, calendar entries, and contacts info until just recently.  Now the Notes app on my MacBook Pro will not connect with the iCloud.  My other devices, iMac, iPhone, and iPad, all communicate with each other with the cloud, but not the MacBook.  When I open Notes in the MacBook it says "updating" forever.  Also, when running the Mail Connection Doctor everything connects ok except for iCloud IMAP.  The details posted are
    INITIATING CONNECTION Mar 09 20:32:55.268 [kCFStreamSocketSecurityLevelNone] -- host:p02-imap.mail.me.com -- port:993 -- socket:0x6000002c83b0 -- thread:0x60000146a000

Now, Calendar and Contacts communicate to and from the MacBook through iCloud ok, but still not Notes.  Driving me nuts.  Any ideas?

Notes syncing uses IMAP.  Try going to System Preferences>iCloud, uncheck Notes, choose Delete from Mac (your data will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac, then go back and check Notes again.
If that doesn't help, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in.  (This deletes the account and iCloud data from your Mac but not from iCloud.  Your data will download back to your Mac when you sign back in.)
