My photos and video won't rotate any more on my Iphone 5s...(I rebooted too)
My Iphone 5s suddenly stopped rotating photos/video. I didn't change a setting, and I've rebooted. Is there a gyro setting somewhere?
Yes .. Swipe up from the bottom to get to the Control Center, like you want to turn on the flashlight among others.
The lock rotation is there upper right

I haven't had a problem until I updated my iPad. Now my camera roll photos and videos won't show up in iMovie. I updated the App and shut down my iPad. I would love some help. Thanks.
Go to SETTINGS--> PRIVACY and then PHOTOS; make sure iMovie is set to "on".

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

just restored my iphone to be like my ipod and I lost all my photos and videos..is there any way to get them back?
You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. -
"If you exceed your iCloud storage limit, photos and videos won't upload to iCloud, and your library will no longer stay up to date across your devices." Really? Can't we support the existing "last 1k photos will be available in the cloud" model? If we don't do this, won't this kill auto-sync of new photos from iOS devices to our libraries on our Macs (if the Mac's Photos app has auto syncing with the cloud turned on) once we go over our 5gb limit? I have 350GB of photos in my Mac Photos library - I am not going to pay $20/month for 1tb iCloud storage. Please advise, Apple. Thank you.
I agree and am baffled by this also. At first I was really excite about this new feature. Mostly because I would be able to seamlessly sync videos along with my PhotoStream. I just assumed there would be some systematic way to handle large libraries. Like removing older files as the current PhotoStream does. However, it appears that this new feature will simply 'shut down' when you reach your storage limit. This just makes no sense to me. I would have to double check, but I have all my photos and videos in iPhoto and stored on a 3 TB external hard drive and I think the full library is over 1 TB. So, even if I was willing to pay $20 a month for photo syncing (which I am not) I couldn't do it because my library is too large. Again I am just baffled why Apple cannot blend this new service with the existing PhotoSteam model. My favorite aspect of PhotoSteam is that is uploads all my iPad and iPhone Photos to my Mac for permanent storage and it seems this is lost in the new version.

Orientation lock on? Double tap the home button, swipe left-to-right, far left is the orientation lock, tap on/off.

HT4221 My ipad photos and video are not in any order.
I have a series of photos and videos that I am using Sync Photos, and it loads them in completely absurd orders, different each time I've attempted. It does not follow the naming convention nor the dates in the order it has.
My first sync, the photos were in order, then the video but I wanted both intermixed, following the name of the file and not the .jpg or .mov.
I am syncing from a windows pc using Windows Vista.
I tried using the app Photo Manager Pro, and it has the audacity to rename the files too! So the order there is whacked.
Is there any common sense solution to this, so you know, I can use a modern apple device to view photos and video, in order?I have looked a little bit more, and it seems as though the video is lagging behind, not the other way around. Video seems choppy, but the audio is playing perfectly. Music Videos are suffering from the same problem as well. Also, when I sync to my iPod Touch 16GB, audio & video match up perfectly.
I still have no idea how to fix this. Please help. -
IPhone 6 photo and video retrieval after restoring backup from my old iPhone 5 unit

I was so excited to use my new iPhone 6 and started taking photos and videos with it. Not to mention that the photos and videos were of my all-time favorite artist during his much-awaited concert . When I got home, I forgot to download all the media files first to my desktop before performing "restore backup" via iTunes so all my old iPhone 5 settings could be duplicated in my new iPhone. Now, I can only access the photos/videos taken from my iPhone 5 in my iPhone 6. Not sure if I could still retrieve the new photos/videos taken recently using my iPhone 6 when they seem to have been overwritten by my old iPhone files. Please help.

ALL of my photos and videos have uploaded via icloud or photostream on my iphone now i have no memory left. how do i delete all these off my phone?
Photo stream doesn't sync videos unless they are short videos added to a shared stream. If not, you must have synced them to your phone or took them on the phone itself.
Did you sync them to your phone using iTunes? If not, are you running a Mac that is signed into your iCloud account and running iPhoto? -
.flv and .avi won't play any more.
I had all the relevant codecs and was able to play .flv files in QuickTime and in VLC Player and also .avi files.
I reformatted my MacBook Pro for unrelated reasons, and now since installing all the same codecs etc. I can't play .flv files and also I have .avi movies which play with no sound in QuickTime, whereas they used to before reformatting.
I have installed:
QuickTime Pro 7.5
DivX
XviD Codec 1.0
VLC Player 0.8.6i Janus (Intel)
Perian 1.1
Does anyone know why suddenly there is no sounds for .avi in QuickTime and .flv won't play at all in QuickTime, VLC or the DivX Media Player whenever it used to work fine? I don't want to have to install more media players.

despite what you say, Toronto..., I had the same codecs installed as described by Somhairie and it worked fine before I reinstalled all OSX.

Fraya FrehseLast night I wiped the phone and did a complete restore. Lo and behold the wifi was working again after the restore finished. GREAT. 30 minutes later went to look at the phone and no wifi again, great!
So if my wifi chip coincidentally fried itself during the update, I supposed it coincidentally unfried itself during the restore, only to fry itself again later. Clever chips these. -
Is there any way to retrieve photos and videos from my water damaged iPhone 6?
My iPhone 6 appears to be water damaged and won't turn on. At this point, I'm ready to give up on the phone but I'd like to retrieve data from the phone if possible - especially photos and videos. Is there any way to do this? I have seen suggestions to take it to the Apple Store, but with the nearest one just over an hour away, I would be very disappointed to drive all that way just to be told there's nothing they can do.
Thanks, John. I should have specified - no iCloud back up. I would have maxed it out with the first backup, so I didn't do it. I back up to my computer, but hadn't done that in about a month. Big lesson learned here. I have a new phone and am setting up iCloud!! I'm trying to allow all my family's devices to back up to the same iCloud - that's the new challenge

New to this, so go easy on me. I recently got my first iDevice - an iPhone 5. I've used it for a month now and I have to say I love it.
But, I gave it to my kid this morning to look at. It was locked, so I assumed it was safe. WRONG. 5 mins later, I returned to him and my lovely iPhone5 was at the setup /pick your language screen! Looks like he entered the password incorrectly too many times and wiped it.
Now - I thought it would be fairly easy to recover the data and the apps - but it turns out this is not the case. I was never prompted to install iTunes and sync the device - not in the manual, not on the device when setting it up - so how was I to know that that would be my backup. I checked iCloud at a suggestion of an IT pal - nothing there, despite knowing that I had a Photo stream enabled. I may have disabled it only recently, but not sure if I can manually turn it on again?
Anyway - is there a way to manually scan my device and grab my all important photos and videos?

For some unknown reason I am able to airplay photos and video content that i have recorded using my iphone 5 but i am unable to airplay any music whats so ever??
there is not connection problems and as far as i cant tell all the settings are good?? (or photos wouldnt airplay?, right??)

1. Launch iTransfer on both devices
2. Tap "Tap to Connect" on both devices
3. Select the device to pair and wait for device to connect
4. Tap "Accept" on the other device
5. Select Photos, Music or Files to transfer
6. Tap "Received File"
7. Select the received file and decide what action you'll like to take e.g. View, Email, Open In -
I think it updated the system aswell.
On the computer go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and see if a backup is listed. If no backup then unless you backet up to iCloud then, as I said my first reply:
- If you used PhotoStream then try getting them (photos only) from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:
