Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. You can always make a reservation at the Genius Bar and see what those guys can do because it seems that they are still there, they are just 'hidden' from view. http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

The guides all say when using the iCloud photos are shared across all devices. Why can't I see my photos from my iPhone on my iPad when it settings on both devices the iCloud for photos is on?
When you enable Photo Stream on your devices, only new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your Photo Stream. Existing photos won't.

The answer to that is because your phone and your Mac are signed into different accounts. Sign the phone in using the same credentials as the Mac.

I can no longer send photos in an email from my iphone 5. It uploads the photo the the "mew message" page and then it freezes! I can use safari and check my emails, and when the email part is frozen I can still use the rest of my phone. Any advice ?!?

I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.

iPhoto says it won't import photos from my Fujifilm Finepix S1000 camera because it's the wrong format (jpeg). It always has before... but I upgraded to Lion then went back to Snow Leopard and now it's not working. Suggestions? Thanks!
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -

I have icloud and my pictures stream from my iphone to my ipad but NOT to my Mac?
You could try going to System Preferences>iCloud, unchecking Photo Stream, restarting your Mac and then going back and rechecking Photo Stream. You may want to be sure your photo stream photos are saved to your events in iPhoto before unchecking photo stream since you are likely to only get back photos added to your photo stream in the last 30 days when you re-enable it again.

WHen I first attempted to exchange, I was well under BEST BUY return policy of 30 days...but wouldn't you know they finally responded to me stating they would not be able to offer me an exchange because NOW the return term time had NOW expired....
SO they waited until my return period had expired to reply and tell me they couldn't and wouldn't exchange it
because my return/exchange period had expired...

Is there a way to not have photo stream photos save to my iphone? i have many shared photo streams hoping to not bog down my iphone space. but alas the photos are are being saved on my iphone.

Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud. I am able to see any photo I took on the iPad using the iPad camera (in iTunes, photo stream, or when I open windows explorer and browse the iPad director), however I cannot see any photos transfered from my camera to the iPad. The camera connection kit must have put my photos in a directory I cannot get to and cannot sync.

I had Apple TV up and running for about 3 weeks. All good... then I get an update. Since then I've got the HDCP error, so Netflix doesn't work, nor can I stream from my iphone. By shear coincidence, my Sky TV has flagged up the exact same issue at the same time, despite being problem freem for 3 years ?? So nothing on my TV except YouTube. Looking at the amount of forum content on this matter, Apple know this is a problem.
It's too much of a coincidence not to be related. I requested a phone call at 8:45 this morning, which happened to be 9:00, so I'd left the house. The useless guy said he'd email me something to help..... and I'm still waiting for that email.
I've tried swapping HDMI cables, resetting Sky and Apple TV, resetting the router, changing resolution in the Audio Visual settings, switching on in different sequences.... I'm lost with it.
Is Apple now run by monkeys ? This is beyond a joke. How can an update ruin everything ?

I had iCloud photo libraey turned on on both my iPad and iPhone. As said by the feature, photos and videos were being transferred automatically from each device to each other. I have a 64GB iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5 only has 16GB of storage so I am lacking much more space on my iPhone than my iPad. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer photos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone. Would turning off iCloud Photo library on my iPad do the trick? Thanks hope someone can help me out.
iCloud Photo Library keeps all of your photos in the Cloud which you then can selectively download. So, unless you download the iPad photos, they are not going to be taking up any room on your iPhone:

Only some of the photos I have taken on my iPhone appear in the photo stream on my iPad even thou they were taken at the same time. Why is this and how can I import the other photos from my iPhone to my iPad?
If older photos are missing it may be because photo stream photos are only held in iCloud for 30 days. After that they are removed from iCloud but will remain (up to 1000 photos) on your device until deleted. Also, only photos taken after enabling photo stream are added to your photo stream, and only when the camera is closed, your device is connected to wifi and you have at least 20% battery life remaining.
To transfer the missing photos you can either create a shared photo stream containing them and invite yourself to it (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99), import the photos to your computer and sync them to your iPad, or use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your iPad over wifi. -
How can I delter photos in a folder from my Iphone 4s? When I synced the new phone from the Itunes, the photos went to two folders and not the camera roll.
