My photos are shuffled after i transfer

after i transfer my album into ipod touch 4g my photos in that are shuffled when i open it in my ipod

Most likely they are not going anywhere. What is the reason behind such a generic question?
Do you suspect they are being uploaded somewhere?
Do they not show in the Camera Roll after being taken?

If photos are deleted after 30 days from icloud, why doesn't my available storage increase if I have had "backup device" turned off for more than 30 days.

That refers to photo stream photos, which don't count against your iCloud storage.  They also aren't contained in the iCloud backup; only camera roll photos are, which are not deleted after 30 days.  They stay on your device until you delete them.

  • Photo image size after file transfer much smaller

I am transfering photos over to my wife's Macbook and after the transfer, the photos are of a much smaller file size. Is there a way to transfer the photos at their full image size?

Dragging and dropping to a web-based email (gmail) makes the photo appear inside the message itself, and not as an attachment, which is what I wanted.

  • My new iPad photos are blurry after import

After I import new photos into my new iPad 3, all the photos are low res, blurry, and somewhat pixelated. All the images are coming from iPhoto and a very very high resolution JPEGs. Is there a setting off somewhere? Thank you!

Two options - Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.] It is absolutely/appsolutely safe!
If this does not sort it deselect the photos and do a sync, then reselect them and do another sync!

  • Photos are blurry after editing

Some of my pics are blurry after I edit them in Lr.  I need advice, please:(

We'd probably need to see a screen capture of the blurry photo in order to advise further.
Were the photos blurry before you did the Lightroom edit?

  • Events mixed up and deleted photos are back after database rebuild

    Hello
My father has got an iPhoto library with rougly 6200 pictures in it. One day I decided, as the old iMac he uses grew more sluggish, to rebuild the database, in an attempt to get a performance boost out of it.
So I opened iPhoto holding the cmd and the alt keys on the keyboard. There I got four options out of which at first I chose "repair database" and after that I restarted iPhoto and selected "rebuild database".
After that my father got shocked and I myself, too, since I couldn't explain him what happened:
It seems as if every picture from over 1000 photos that he put into the trash (AND we emptied the trash!) are back and strewn randomly across dozens of events. Thus if he had like six pictures of the same motiv out of which he picked one to keep, in that case all six are back!
Furthermore many many pictures are at complete wrong events now. Some pictures from one event are now at some completely unrelated other ones.
Thus the whole library is mixed up.
My father also fears that some pictures might be missing, but this is one of the only things I'm confident about, that there should be at least all pictures somewhere.
    Now what did I do?
    1. I fired up Time Machine and restored from a three days old backup. What happened now is: NOTHING. There were two new pictures which he added in that three days thus these two picutres were gone. But the whole problem was still there. Unchanged. How? It was a bloody restore.
    2. I restored from an older backup. Same.
    3. I repaired the database. No change.
    4. I rebuild the database. No change.
I can't tell my father to sit down and reorder 6000 pictures by hand, which he has done for several years, all over again. What are my options? What can I do? Please help!
    Thank you

Are you saying that the photos are appearing in the wrong albums, or that the photos are in their correct albums but are displayed in the different order within them ? If they are in the wrong albums then try deleting the photo cache from your computer and re-try the sync - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314
If the photos are displayed in the wrong order in the albums, then they will be displayed by capture date order unless you are syncing via iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac. To get them in a different order you will need to manipulate their capture dates : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4221

  • Photos are cropped after being shared from Photos App

So, I wanted to share Photos from my Photos App using iCloud shared albums. I have iCloud Photo Library enabled.
All the photos I want to share are perfectly uploaded to iCloud, as I checked them on my iPhone.
But when I created the shared album, some of the photos are cropped! The lower part is just plain white.
Some of them are missing 30%, others are missing 90%. Some are even all white. This is the case for every device I access the shared album from.
But the originals are still complete and not cropped (When I access them via "Moments" for example). That is on every device!
    No matter where I access
I noticed, that when I shared the photos, the Hard drive of my iMac began to show heavy activity.
I imagine there should be no HD activity, since all my photos are in the cloud already. So when I want to share photos from my iCloud photo library, all the Photos App has to do is send the list of those photos I want to share to the iCloud servers. Not the entire (or corpped) photo.
    Anyone else experiencing this?

Must crop all pictures, or choose to print with borders.

  • Syncing to iPhone 3GS - Freezes when Photos are synced, after 1st sync

    Using iTunes 9.1.1.12 and iPhone 3GS 3.1.3.
When syncing, the sync freezes when Photos are included to be synced. It just hangs at the end of the sync process, and never completes.
If I don't include the Photos to be synced, it syncs fine.
If I then choose to re-sync the Photos and delete the folder: "iPod Photo Cache"... It re-syncs fine again (and places all photos on iPhone). But if I immediately sync again, without un-checking Photos to be synced, it hangs again at the end.
    Please help.

    They are scaled down.

  • Photos are blurry after import

I just downloaded Aperture.  All photos have been imported from iPhoto and looked fine.  I closed Aperture, re-opened and now the photos are blurry (the thumbnails are clear).  I can't make photo adjustments because it says offline.  What am I doing wrong here?  Why did it work prior to closing and re-opening the program?

How did you import from iPhoto?
The correct way would be as outlined here:
    http://documentation.apple.com/en/aperture/usermanual/#chapter=4%26section=10
Also check to see what your Preview size and quality are set to in Aperture Preferences (using Quality '8' and the resolution of your monitor - marked with an asterisk - should work well).

IF you don't have a backup of your phone either thru icloud or iTunes, where do you expect to restore your pictures from?
No backup no recovery your pics are gone.

  • Some Photos are blank after conversion from Aperture

Library contains 45K photos .. migrated from Aperture.  For some reason a large number of the photos have meta data but are blank.  Where have they gone?

    Partial CLUE ..
Two photos .. appear to be dupes .. but the case of the file NAME is different.  The UPPERCASE JPG is blank .. the lowercase .jpg is not.
    Ok -- Apple Engineers .. here's a start .. go fix.

  • Photos are cropped after printed

Hello - my question is concerning sending pictures to be printed at a photo place (Wallgreens, CVS, Target etc.). I want to print 4x6 pictures, and I realize now that the aspect ratios are different from what I took the pictures in.
Therefore what is the fix for this? What is happening is the photo place automatically crops the top (and bottom?) and is cutting off the tops of heads.
So should I crop all my photos first? If so, do I crop them to 4x6 or 4x3? I'm slightly confused.
Please help - I just ordered iPhoto 6, so if there is an easier way in that program, you can let me know too.
    Thank you

  • Photos are lost after renaming iPhoto Library

I changed the name of my iPhoto Library from the Finder, and now I can no longer find the photos in those libraries.  There are no "Modified" or "Original" directories with sub-directories of the photos any more.  I've also tried an application called "iPhoto Library Manager", and it couldn't find the photos either.
Could renaming the directory change its content and cause the photos to be deleted?  Or have they just been moved?
Is there any way to get the photos back?

    Thank you.
But when I do that, I get a screen that lists my current library.  I click on "Other Library" and get a window which shows all the sub-directories of my Pictures directory.  If I click on one of the other iPhoto Libraries, it just opens that sub-directory and asks me to select a file.  There are directories "Before Restore" and "Metadata Backup" and some files which are greyed out.  I go into those directories and some more greyed out files show up.  Nothing that could be selected.  What should I do?

  • Photos are blurry after upgrade to 9.4.2.,

I recently installed the latest iPhoto upgrade and the quality of my photos is considerably worse. They are blurry or fuzzy around the edges - didn't used to be the case. Is there a way I can fix this?
    Thanks!
