My photos aren't syncing on iphone 5

Music & apps are fine but my photos are not going over. Any ideas, please?

If you're connected to iTunes, click your iPhones name on the left side of the screen.  This will open it in iTunes.  Then click Photos and you choose where your photos are on your computer and check which photos, albums, ect., you want to sync to your iPhone.  You can choose All as well.  Once you've made your selections, click Apply on the lower right hand side of the screen, then sync. and your photos should go on the phone.

  • Why do my photo stream not sync between iPhone 4S & iPad?  Some pics do but not all

Why does the photo stream not sync between iPhone 4S & iPad?  Some pics do, some don't.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
        1.    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
        2.    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
        3.    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

  • Photos will not sync on iPhone 6.   Everything else syncs.

Tried syncing my iPhone 6 Plus today.   No photos are syncing.   I've checked the box to sync all photos from iPhoto.   Get a message that it is syncing, but no photos are being shown as being added.   Music, tones, movies, etc., all synced with no problem.   I've tried several times, but no photos are added.

I just noticed that the pictures I have taken on my iPhone 6 plus, which were synched to my iMac, then synched from iPhoto are not showing up.  Very strange. I just went to look for my newest photos and they are no where to be found on the phone.
Is this some kind of bug?  I do recall that I have Wi-Fi synch enable in iTunes. I am going to try and disable it and re-synch to see if they show up.
I have all my photos in iPhoto on my iMac. I also have all of them stored on my iPhone 6 plus.

  • Photos no longer sync to iPhone 5s

Using all latest up to date software iPhone/iTunes/Windows 7 but iTunes is utterly rubbish at sync'ing! I've got a baby to look after than to worry about simple tasks of sync'ing photos of my little one and instead it's a major chore every time with iTunes, not just this phone but all previous generations I've had. Apple - if you're listening then please please use DIRECTORIES!!! It's straightforward to just copy the files instead of using your utterly useless black box application approach.
I'm fed up with my new iPhone as I've tried all the suggestions on this forum (deleting photo cache, reloading from backup, reboot, reconnect etc etc) but it still doesn't work. Each approach takes nearly half an hour to an hour test out and and then on examination the photos are still not on the phone!
You guys think you're being revolutionary and clever but you're not because you can't make reliable software considering you've had many generations to get it all working perfect but you still haven't! If anything you seem to be losing the plot even more!

Problem seems to be resolved.  Photos are now syncing.

  • My calendars aren't syncing between iphone and ipad?

  • Photos will not sync with iphone

SInce I updated my iPhone to IOS6, and downloaded iPhoto update, I can't synce photos to my iPhone.
The check box for syncing selected photos in iTunes is grayed out.
I already tried all the options to rebuild the iPhoto database, no luck.  I checked with my iPod, I can't download photos to it, either.
    Versions:
    OSX: 10.8.2
    iTunes: 10.7
    iPhoto: 9.4
    IOS: 6

    OK,
I called Apple support, and after a couple callbacks my issues are solved. (Or at least worked around)
It was definitely the ampersand "&" issue in iPhoto.
For now, you can't have an "&" in any of your album, slideshow or event names.
In addition, you can't select any music for slideshows that has an "&" anywhere in the songe title, artist, album, etc.  If you have a good sized music library and search for "&", you may be surprised how often this character shows up.
If you have ever included music for a slideshow that has a "&", it works best if you select different music from the default music library that comes with iPhoto.
The Apple Support guy told me that an iPhoto update will be out in the coming weeks that addresses this issue, but he did not have  firm date.
I was very impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and clear instructuions I received from Apple Support.  They definitely know how to work with customers.

  • Photos will not sync from iphone to pc!

Hi I have the 3GS and when I plug it into my pc, both vista and xp, it does not sync my photos. With my 3G it will auto sync and download any new pics I have taken, but not with the 3GS. When I unplug it it says new camera found, even though its unpluged? PLEASE HELP.

When there are photos in your iPhone's camera roll, your iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer, or should be. Photos in your iPhone's camera roll are imported as with any other digital camera, not synced.
XP includes a camera and scanner wizard and Vista should include the same or similar for importing photos from a digital camera including from the iPhone's camera roll.

  • HT203082 Photos doesn't sync from iPhone 5S to iPad 2

I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5S. I use Photo Stream but only some of the photos that I take on the iPhone appears on the iPad. It seems random which photos sync. When I look at the iPad I can see photos from 5 months ago, I can also find various photos from all the months until today - but not all of them. I tried to turn off Photo Stream on the iPad, delete photos from the photostream, then turn it on again but it just doesn't work! Any ideas what could be wrong?

  • Photo Stream not syncing on iPhone 6

I just recently got an iPhone 6 and my photo stream is not working. I have over 750 photos in my iPad photo stream that will not sync to my iPad. I feel like I've tried everything. I've restarted my iPhone, signed in and out of iCloud and turned photo stream off and on.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Hi Blackk05,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your Photo Stream may not be appearing on your iPhone 6. I know it can be worrying to not see your photos, and I can help you find the My Photo Stream album.
If you would like to access My Photo Stream on your iPhone 6, first make sure you have updated it to iOS 8.1:
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Once you've updated, and made sure Photo Stream is turned ON, the My Photo Stream album should appear in the Photos app under Albums.
See this link for more help with the Photos app:

    All the best,

  • Why do I see two copies of every photo when I sync my iPhone or iPad with iPhoto?

Whenever i plug in my iPhone to sync, iPhoto automatically opens.
There are always two copies of every photo I have taken since my last sync. I have to throw one out before syncing.
    Why is that?

CTNKnoblock you can remove the CC versions and continue to utilize the Creative Suite 6 license and applications already installed on your computer.  You can find details on how to remove the CC versions at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
If you do receive a message that your Creative Suite 6 is in trial mode then choose the License this Software option and enter your Adobe ID and serial number.
Finally if you wish to install a fresh copy of Creative Suite 6 you can download the installation files at Download CS6 products.

  • Create low rez photo library to sync with iPhone / iPad

Is there a tool or utility to create a duplicate photo library that's resized smaller so I can sync them to my iPhone? I'd like to have all my photos on my devices but don't want to waste a a lot of space. Ideally this tool would be automatic so I wouldn't need to manage it manually. For instance if I transferred new photos from my camera it would then automatically create new smaller sized photos for my devices. Thanks for shy suggestions!!!

    No.
The iPhone already creates smaller sized photos for the iPhone Photo App so its would be pretty pointless.
You could alwasy create your own minimal size iPhoto content however I have seen reports/threads in here of iPhoto upscaling tiny photo's/images to keep the size consistent with the rest of the library. Unfortunately, the upscaling often will create bigger space images that you started out with.

  • Photos won't sync with iPhone

    Hi there,
I often have the situation where the sync on my (1st gen) iPhone will fail when trying to copy photos to the iPhone - the error says that it has failed as there is not enough free space on the device.
The phone and iTunes both report approximately 100MB free space, more than enough for the few photos (all scaled down to 800x600 anyway!) to fit on.
I have tried deleting all the photos off the iPhone and re-syncing and that still fails.
On the odd occasion it will work!
I can fill up my iPhone with video/music (i.e. take it to zero k free space) and I USED to be able to do this with photos, but can no longer do it.
I am using iTunes 8.2.1 on OS-X (10.5.7). I'm using iPhone 3.0 software on the iPhone
I have a folder called 'iPhone photos' and folders in that with all the photos I want to copy. All these photos are re-sized to 800x600. I use the 'select folders' option to select which folders I want to sync. There doesn't appear to be a specific folder that causes/resolves this problem.
    Any ideas?

  • HT1386 entourage contact photos won't sync with iphone

I use Entourage for my contacts, email and calendar, the version I use is part of Microsoft Office for Mac 2008, Entourage version 12.3.3 on a MacBook Pro, using Snow Leopard, OS 10.6.3, and I'm trying to sync my Entourage contacts with their corresponding photos for each contact to my iphone 4s OS 5.1.1 The contacts sync but the contact photos did not. I also use FileMaker Pro To Go and managed to sync that with my FM desktop version which has photos that correspond to their contacts and that synced contacts with photos to the iphone without any problems. Does anyone have any solution ideas? has anyone experienced this same problem?

Nope. The only thing I can suggest is disregard the photo issue with the sync. I looked up the issue on Google and some other people were having the same issue with Entourage. I checked Microsoft forums for it but nothing was there.
Other posts indicated that it was because entourage uses a different data entry set for the user photos, which iOS does not use.

  • How to sync songs that aren't synced to iPhone, and appear on iTunes in gray and next to a circle?

After syncing my music from iTunes to my new iPhone 5 (and all of my music is either matched or uploaded using iTunes Match), I encountered a problem in which some songs weren't synced to my iPhone, and when I look at my iPhone section on iTunes, on music I can see these songs that weren't synced, in gray and next to them there's a circle.
Can anyone help me with syncing these problematic ones to the iPhone?
    Thanks,
    Nir

Iphone will sync with one and only one computer at a time.
Syncing to another will erase the current content from the iPhone.
    Put everything on one library.
