I was messing with my photos when it got switched to YEARS. How do I return it to MOMENTS? Thank you. This is on my IPhone.

One way (and there should be an easier way and likely is but I haven't found it): quit Photos and then double-click the home button and find Photos and slide it up off of the app switcher screen. The click the home button once to get back to the home screen and reopen Photos.

On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

You are wonderful! You are the best! I'm Stephania and I recently purchased a refurbished ipad2. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and updating & fixing it so my liking. The only thing that I couldn't correct were the photos that looked like negatives. Every photo, even on the internet, on apps, everywhere! I just couldn't figure out how to fix it. I contacted Apple Care and its too difficult to get in touch with them. I had looked through support before but didn't put in the right question. Well, today I got lucky. I did the two things you suggested and turning the "White On Black" off did the trick. I'm so happy! I had a feeling it was something simple and this is not even in the manual!

I believe I had leopard and I was having issues getting errors of system not being supported. I contacted Apple and was advised I needed to upgrade to snow leopard. My laptop is from 2009 and I haven't done anything to it till now. The apple rep also stated I should do a fresh install when putting snow leopard on so my laptop would run faster. Apple rep told me to get a external hard drive to put my info on it so the fresh install would reset everything to like it was brand new. I had someone help me with getting everything on the EHD.. doing the right format and such and then once that was done I put in the CD for snow leopard and hit install. Which brings me to now, with everything but my pictures. I have the EHD plugged in... now what? What do I do? I have looked in the EHD in iphoto and it was all standard images *not my pictures but images of a check mark or an arrow again not actual pictures. I don't see a folder pictures and i looked for images and found nothing. I have Applications, Included Free Designs, Library, System, User Guides and Information and Users, those are my options and non of those have a "pictures"

You didn't import all of your pics regularly? Particularly before an update?
They may very well be gone.
You can try restoring from backup.

If these were photos that were only in the Photostream folder of your Photos app, but not actually part of the Photostream itself, then the iCloud Photostream only holds the past 30 days of photos.
Use the iCloud Control Panel (if you're using Windows, download it here: iCloud for Windows - Apple Support), to see your actual iCloud Photostream.
Your device will hold the Photostream photos until they are removed, but you should never treat your device or the iCloud Photostream as permanent storage. You should be importing them to your computer on a regular basis for safe keeping.

What Kilted said. If your photos or contacts were synced from another computer, get them there. Or if they have become unchecked in iTunes, re-check them and then sync. I had different things synced from two computers, and I think something like this happened to me. Anyway, now I will sync by wifi so probably won't have this worry any more.

Did you just remove it from the dock?
If so, then it is still in your applications folder.
If it is really deleted, then you need to get it back from your time machine back up if you have one or or from a OS install disk if you have one.

When I first set up the imac, my identity was established as the registered owner and this was reflected in my Contacts App with a little icon next to my name and the word "ME" under my photo. I set up seperate log ins for my wife and two kids. Somehow we have done something to confuse the iMac as the 'Me" indicator now appears in the Contacts entry for my wife. I suspect this is at the root of the mystery as to why, though iMessage keeps our indentities straight on the iMac, on my iPad it is my wife's picture that shows up in the conversation box and not mine when I use it to send a message. The reciepient receives the message from me alright, but at my end it is my wife that appears to be speaking.

Yes, you probably have the tripple-click Home button option off.
Just visit the Accessibility pane under General settings (as described by King_Penguin above) and choose to assign what you need for your tripple click command, in this case toggling the black & white option.
You can also tell it to 'ask' you what you want from that command each time.

If your iTunes account is based in Germany then the App Store and iTunes store will be in German - they pick up the language of your account's country, and that can't be changed. If your account is not based in Germany then try logging out of it by tapping on it in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if the stores correct themselves.

If you go into "settings" and then go into "accessibility" you can turn on or off " invert colors". This should do the trick.

Until now, I was impressed about the skills of Firefox, but now I am disapointed. Why it is so complicated to change the language? I am romanian but I am not familiarized with the romanian translations of the softs , I prefere english on my desktop. I think this is a negative mark for Firefox and if you want to be in top, you must correct this.
