My photos in ipod disappeared-please help!
today when i went to look at my pictures they weren't there. i had problems with the pictures before since when i picked one the screen will be all black. now the photo button doesn't even appear when i go to Preferences in itunes. what should i do?

yes i do. now finally the photo button appeared but when i try to transfer photos to my ipod,a warning pops out saying thatan error -48 has occured and i don't know what this means

You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

ITunes will not add new songs to iPod. Please help!
Hello, my problem is pretty self-explainitory. I have the newest versions of itunes and ipod. When I plug in my ipod it "updates" it fine but once its done the new songs/artists/albums/playlists are not on my ipod.

Matthew.oh my gosh that is like the same thing that happened to me! i just downloaded itunes 7.0.2 yesterday and i bought some new songs and downloaded songs from cds into my library. i clicked "sync ipod" and the songs i downloaded from cds were the only things that went on!!!none of the songs i bought from itunes store went on my ipod!
i made sure i checked them and everything! they just won't go on my ipod!

It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it. -

Try this:
you can shift-click (PC) or option-click (Mac) theRestore or Update buttons in iTunes. A file dialog will open and let you choose the downloadedipsw-file. -
I am having an with the dictation feature in OSX Mountain Lion. I got Dictation enabled but when I got to use the feature all I get is the circles that cycle the purple color, shakes the the box disappears please help.

When we go to view albums from our iphoto library on apple tv it takes forever to load and then it only plays between 24 and 35 photos then goes back to the start. Then it goes through again and displays 1 more photo each time. Please help!
It's likely that your Library database has been damaged in all the crashing.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I am battling to get my Album Artwork updated in my Ipod Touch - please help?
Just a guess here, but it sounds like iTunes is under the impression that some of the song files it is managing are located on a removable drive. Do all of your songs play from iTunes? That might be hard to know if you have thousands of songs, but if a song was imported into iTunes, but the file was deleted afterward (like if you used removable media), you might get a warning like that, and the song wouldn't play in iTunes. Just a thought.

Syncing photos from PC to iPod. Please help.
I have a 30 GB video iPod and using Windows XP Pro. In iTunes, I seem to be syncing 25 photos from Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 to my iPod successfully. However, when I eject the iPod no photo album exists under the photo menu and under the "About" menu it shows I have 0, photos. When re-connected to iTunes, iTunes then ID's 25 photos on the iPod. It appears to work but I'm unable to view photos. Can anyone help me? Appreciated.
i am using windows xp. transfer all your images into one folder in my pictures and then sync from the ipod menu under preferences under edit menu in itunes. it optimized and copied more than 700 pictures onto my 30 gb ipod. hope this helped.

Major Ipod Trouble, Please Help
Lately I've been going through a lot of frustration with my ipod. I just recently bought an imac intel core duo and through data DVDs and ipod access, managed to get all of my music, which had previously been scattered between two PCs and an ipod, in one place. In order to get it onto my ipod I had to restore the ipod and then synch it with my new computer's itunes, which was successful. Everything was going smoothly until recently it started freezing inexplicably. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason other than that it seems to freeze a few seconds into a song and that it's just about always happened in my car when it's plugged into my FM modulator. Every time it's happened, the music disappears when I restart it, and doesn't reappear until I've restarted it several more times. I thought perhaps that restoring the ipod didn't fully update the software and created problems after it had been synched. But just recently when I plugged it into my computer, itunes said that it couldn't be read and that I should restore it to it's factory settings, which I had just recently done, and then when I ran ipod updater on it without itunes, it said that my ipod was up to date. I would just restore it or buy a new one but I just did restore it and this ipod is only a few months old and was sent to me as a replacement when my old ipod broke. Any insight would be appreciated
