My photos no longer print out in good quality since the latest iPhoto update to 9.5.1. This is happening with photos that have previously printed out at a large size with no problem.
Since the upgrade to the latest version of iPhoto the photos no longer print in good quality. They appear crisp and in good focus on the monitor, then when they go to the page where they get edited and printed from, they go blurry. This is happening with photos hat I have previously printed out in large format ith no problems. I have looked at Preferencces but don't see anything about setting photo quality. Any ideas??
At that size all you're getting is about 100-120 dpi. 300 dpi is considered most desireable for prints. Do you have a 4x6 print of the same photo made before you upgraded to 9.5.1 and Mavericks to compare with?

1. only in firefox - flashplayer won't upgrade, endless loop of "add plug-ins" etc.
2. vertical scroll bar flipped from left side to right.
3. crtl ++ to zoom doesn't function.
4. can't load any "personas" when in Google gmail.
If I use Explorer, none of these problems exist. This suddenly happened overnight! I have your newest upgrade and I haven't had any problems for the past year or so....this is weird.

My Win 7 PC will not recognize my I-Phone 4S since the recent OS update. Reinstalling I-Tunes has not helped. What else can I try?
irst off, you can connect the device to another computer to import the photos. Second the error that you are seeing is a Windows error and you would have to look that one up on Microsoft.com. You should be able to remove the device from Device Manager, unplug the phone, wait a moment and then plug it back in. It should recognize it then and load the driver.
The message board is no longer allowing me to reply from that site. In answer to above, I don’t have another computer. Yes, what I sent is a windows error message but this is NOT a windows error. From what I can see online from others, this is a problem many are having as a result of something in the new OS we downloaded to keep our I-phones current. Everything worked fine before downloading the new OS and nothing changed in our systems except the new OS. Apple needs to diagnose the problem and develop a fix! -
Since the last automatic update (approx. one week ago) my Firefox has been running slow as molasses and I keep getting a "refresh" box popping up when the pages get hung up (very often)
What can I do to correct this? I clean my cache out at least once daily - most days more. Virus scan says I'm clear of viruses - Glary Utilities tells me that all changes to my registry have been fixed (sneaky apps trying to get in) I'm going crazy because I am used to my FF being fast! Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

ITunes no longer shows my iPhone after I installed the latest iTunes update.
I agreed to install the latest iTunes update and went through all the steps including rebooting. My phone then asked if I trusted the computer and I clicked "trust". It asked again and I clicked "trust". iTunes never opened automatically and when I opened iTunes, I saw that my iPhone5 was not listed; therefore, I can no longer sync. Then I rebooted my (Windows 7) computer again and experienced the same problems. I moved my phone to a different USB port but experienced the same problems.
I have an AT&T Uverse email account that keeps saying I have an "incorrect user name or password."
Perhapse it's the same issue since the Uverse e-mail is through Yahoo. -
Why does the sort feature no longer work in numbers for maverick since the latest upsates?
I have followed the instructions to sort rows in the latest version of numbers, however since the latest update it no longer functions and ideas? it is version 3.1 [1769]

The problem is that your Flash Player is not current. Check this to see what the current version is (vs what you have) and here to get the latest version. There is supposed to be a major security issue in the version you've got so Apple is blocking its use. In any case, don't get Flash Player from anywhere except Adobe. -
After installing the latest updates to Snow Leopard the system hangs up and will not open properly. This is the update to Java, etc after the virus was discovered. I have done the updates on four different systems with the same result.
No problems with the Java update here, although I have Java disabled. Might try reapplying the Java standalone while in Safe Boot (Shift at startup chime), if you did it from Software Update.

I recently updated from Windows 8 to 8.1. Now I can't sync my iPhone 5. I have the latest version of iTunes and my phone is updated as well. It worked fine with Windows 8. Now iTunes doesn't show my phone when it's connected. My computer does recognize that my phone is connected. Is there a fix for Windows 8.1?

When I do a manual refresh on certain sites like NY Times or CNN, or when sites like NYT periodically push an update through, the updates won't stop loading. It's as though the update never completes. The rotating circle icon on the affected tab just continues indefinitely. While this is happening, other websites that I try to open or update are either very slow or unresponsive.
My fix has been to force the update to terminate by using the red X button next to the website name. Then other websites respond normally but often the one that I have manually stopped becomes unresponsive.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Has anyone else had problems since the latest itunes/ipod update?
since i got my ipod and itunes updated, ive had nothing but problems with my ipod. sometimes it freezes, and when i connect it to the computer its all of a sudden corrupted. Sometimes this happens when i connect it to my computer to charge, and gets stuck on the do not disconnect screen. Sometimes ill be listening to music or watching something on my ipod and itll turn off randomly for no reason, then the apple symbol will come on as if i turned the ipod on again. Right now my ipod is frozen on the do not disconnect screen, and i have no choice but to restore it, however it wont even show up on itunes when its frozen sometimes, like right now. Has anyone else had problems since the latest ipod update?

Trouble with the IMS since the latest update took place
Since the latest Firefox update, approximately 3 weeks ago, I can not receive chats from friends. I can send them a chat, but if they try to send me one when I am not online, I never get it. Plus, when I do go into IMS, 2 blocks come up. I have to delete one. Then the other one has a line I can enter the person's name that I want to chat with.
I restarted and it works!!! I held the home button and the lock button until the apple appeared. All is good in the world again!
