My Photoshop does not work.

i downloaded creative cloud installed the photo shop app and acouple other apps that i cant think of at the moment but when i open my creative cloud it takes all day to load then sing in and takes all day againe and when it finally gets to the home page the only thing i am allowed to do is watch tutorials  on the apps i installed and or download all i want to do is use my photoshop whats is the secret to actually open the photo shop program i am an idiot and i dont know what i am doing wrong.  either i downloaded the wrong trial program
or if i am supposed to pay for it before i get to use it.  any help would be appreciated. thank you.

You have not provided any system information or other details, so nobody can know what is going onb. most likely things are simply being blocked by some external influence like a virus scanner. The behavior is definitely not normal or intended.

    Are you seeing this problem since first launch of PSE13 after installation or recently?
    Please try:
    Keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys pressed while launching PSE13 Editor and click OK on the dialog that comes next.

  • Photoshop does not work after update

    Was on phone to help for 77 minutes - did not solve problem
    PC - Windows 8.1
    Did most recent update of Photoshop 2014
    Relaunched PS got this message
      3.  Clicked OK got
    4. Clicked Check online . . . 
    5.  Window closed nothing happened
    6.  Uninstalled and reinstalled PS
    7.  Went to Adobe and read what I should download and where to place. Did it - no change
    8.  Called Amazon after 25 min wait ended up talking to a woman for 77 minutes and she took over my computer did a lot of changes.  Nothing worked
    9.  She then uninstalled program  and had me reboot.  I informed her when I rebooted it would disconnect my phone and she said she would call back.  She did but before the reboot. So will have to start from the beginning on the phone another 2 hrs wasted.
    10.  I re-installed the program and nothing has changed.
    PLEASE HELP!!1

    Please follow the below mentioned steps let me know if they work:
    1. Uninstall current Ps CC app, If there are any issues with CC uninstall then run the Cleaner tool to remove Ps CC :http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .
    2. Restart your system
    2. Install Ps CC app from Creative Cloud
    3. Do not launch Ps
    4. Update to 14.1.2 via the Creative Cloud desktop application
    5. Once the updates are successfully applied, Launch Ps CC to verify.
    If it does not work please let me know, I would try to resolve it over a connect session.

  • Photoshop does not work properly

    we purchased Adobe elemnets 13, but it was for students.  The store hard downloaded it and said we had to put personal info in but then we saw it was for students and we are not.  We returned it and they gave us the standard Photoshop but it does not seem to work fully.  It only has screens to change colours.  Should we delete all the files as the previous may still be there that they put on and re install it ?

  • "Open as layers in Photoshop" does not work

    I have Lightroom 5 and Elements 13:
    When I select 2 Pictures in Lightroom 5 and go to" Edit in" to "open in Photoshop as layers" I cannot select it. The option to "open as layers" is not available. Can anybody help me ?

    Open as layers only works for Photoshop.
    There is a plugin available Elemental - Integrating Photoshop Elements with Lightroom that will include that functionality for Elements.

  • Show me in Photoshop does not work

    I generated a "Selective Color Enhancement" tutorial and it work great.  When I click on "Selective Color Enhancement.html" in the directory "./selective color enhancement/html/selective color enhancement.html", the tutorial is displayed in Chrome.  When I click on the step one button, Show Me in photoshop, I get "This webpage is not found", No webpage was found for the web address: file://localhost/Users/steveg/Desktop/TBResults/Selective%20Color%20Enhancement/html/tbst ep-1"
    I looked in the html directory and, sure enough, the tbstep-1 file is not there.  there are no tbstep files for any of the steps.
    Any help you can offer would be great.

    That's correct. You cannot playback files directly from the browser. You have to load them using the Tutorial Player AIR app, which you can find here under additional downloads.

  • 3D in Photoshop does not work. Graphic Driver is updated.  Can I uninstall and re-install Photoshop?

    I have been on the phone with Adobe and Geek Squad and Intel trying to get the 3D in Photoshop to work.  It used to work till the latest updates, although version 2014 has never worked.  Is it feasible to uninstall Photoshop and then re-install it?  Wish I would have thought to ask when I was on the phone with Adobe...but didn't think of this as perhaps something that might work.  Is it possible?  If so, how?

    If you have the latest CC Desktop app installed, then you can click over to the Apps tab then hover over the Photoshop version you want to install and click the gear that appears, and that’ll give you an uninstall option.  Once you uninstall PS CC 2014, you can reinstall it using the Install button next to Photoshop CC 2014 in the App tab further down.

  • 8500 landscape mode in Photoshop does not work

    In photoshop, when I print in landscape mode, it only prints in portrait. I have changed all the settings in the printer preferences and the preview always stays in portrait. I just used the same photoshop image in my old 7300 printer and it works just fine on another computer. The only way I was able to do it  OK was to save in pdf and then print "automatically" to fit.
    Is there any other solution in Photoshop?

    Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
    If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

    Your screen shot is in the virus scanning queue, where it can linger for minutes, hours, days or weeks.
    If you use the camera icon in the reply editor's formatting bar, you can embed your image in your post, where it will be viewable instantly.

    Thanks i think I got it working of a fashion.
    Except the replace colour, does not seem to end up with the colour I picked using the picker tool. Its as though it hads not replaced the colour but blended in the desired colour with the old incorrect colour!
    Buy trial and error picking not the right colour but close - which when mixed with the existing colour is close.
    Sorry I can't post the pictures as the Lingerie Mfg, has me under non disclosure.
    The scenario is:-  say a blonded mainly tanned model a high cut [at the hips] corsette style basque, with an ultra low bra line.
    Our dear model, has just come back from St Barts with a fabulous Tan, and equally striking bold Tan lines!.
    So we have great tanned legs, then the 'porcelain white band' where her swimsuit was.
    Likewise we have a tanned face, and arms, shoulders etc and a great tan on the top of the cleavage, then it stops, white band to the top of the ultralow cut bra line of the basque.
    She must have lived in like the most conservative bikini on the planet [50's style], for 2 weeks!
    Had she had a normal skimpy bikini on, no problem!
    If i don't solve it, she will get fired!
    Not a lack of interest in your post, but I was out, and tried to log in to this site; which I could do, on my iPad Air / 5 [whatever its the new one]. And tried to 'sign in' - but it just hung at the
    "Join Adobe Community" adobe sign in splash screen! with he little whell spinning around continuously!!!
    I have Safari on this iPad. Guess that is all it runs.
    So technology is not my friend today!

    Just re-installed a fresh copy of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and therefore cannot verify my copy.  What should I do?
    I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and that I should install a new version of AAM.  But after downloading a fresh copy of AAM and doing the install, the program (AAM) still will not install.  It is like an infinite loop!
    Please, someone help!

    I'm sorry but I am not on Creative Cloud.  I'm still on CS6 and it was the Adobe Application Manager that wasn't working and I could not install the update to this application.  My AAM version is:  8.0.0160
    The link you provided was the update that I wanted to install but it does not work.  A window shows up during that install that says:
    We've encountered the following issues.
    Installer failed to initialize.  Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
    and then the link to the Adobe Support Advisor which leads to a "Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" page.
