ways worked before. Would it help to re-install Elements, or should I look for a way to download the Plug-in. Don't even know what it is called. Thanks
When you browse to Computer is your CF card shown as a removable drive?
If not try shutting down the computer and re-starting and then inserting the CF card or plugging in the USB again.
Open Elements Organizer and press Ctrl+G to bring up the downloader and under Source click refresh to locate your CF card.

But that would be weird as I never do such things in the name of maintaining privacy at every chance I encounter... But, I'll try... yep, 'Forgot your password,' Click... of, 'Follow this link,' Click... Minor rush that it might work... Hope fading fast... Gone!"
When the only proof of purchase I can present is my promise that I did once purchase, is it possible for me to download these two programs without having to re-purchase?
I lost a lot of things that day... money, work, memories, la la la. Apparently I've now lost my dignity as well as I plead with some faceless corporation for a freebie.

I bought this program some yearsai ago and had it installed on my old computer. I live in another country now and have a new computer....I do not have the original disk with me...is it possible for me to download the program again from the internet? I do have the registration code.
Thanks for your help.Well you can ask for upgrade price which is usually < than the full product price. On Adobe.com you will be able to find only latest version. You might look on web and check if any other vendor is having PSE6 but i fear since it is 4-5 yrs old so hard to find the same. If you have cd/dvd for PSE 6 you can reinstall. Make sure you have serial key with you for the same if it used to need it.

What is the password for "Public Fox Authentication"- Can't download plug-ins without the password
when attempting to download Adobe Flash on my desktop after updating my foxfire, i click on update adobe flash. When I click on the update i get a screen entitled "Public Fox Authentication" which requires a password.

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print. The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing." I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop Elements, checked my printer settings and still I can't print a photo.

Nothing has been converted. You first need to convince yourself of this.
Start Adobe Reader (or Adobe Acrobat, if you have it). Use Open from the File menu. Pick one of your PDF files. Does it open OK? If not, what happens?

Mac OS Extended is not an OS, it is how the drive is formatted. This format will not work with a PC. If you reformat (erase) the drive with a PC format, it will work with a PC.

My photoshop elements 9 has suddenly stopped working
ive been using photoshop elements 9 for some time now all ok, but after my pc crashed i cant open it anymore?? it comes up with a box saying " unable to continue because of a hardware or system error, sorry but this error is unrecoverable". ive tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling the CD for photoshop elements 9, but its still wont work?? i can open Organise option ok, but when i click on EDIT, i get the error message!!! i cant right click on a photo and say "open with" either, i get the same error message. any help out there please

What operating system? In windows it should be in Program files or Program Files(x86). On a mac it should be in your applications folder.

Hi. My photoshop elements 12 has suddenly stopped working. When i tried opening it yesterday absolutely nothing happened. After a reinstallation I got to choose between opening picture browser or photoshop elements and when trying to open elements nothing happens. Now I have reinstalled windows but still with the same result. I was using the program for several months without problem until yesterday when it suddenly stopped working. Any suggestions on what to do?

Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

I am using a PHP random image script on a site in which I have 2 different images on each templated page (random images throgh a site). The two images call to 2 different folders with the random image script in them (to get 2 distinct images). Thus,
