My Photosmart C410 won't automatically connect to the Network

My Photosmart C410 won't automatically connect to the Network, I have to put in my password for the router every time I turn on the printer from the printer keyboard.  Is there anyway that the printer will automatically connect to my network?

Tell me about your network - router brand/model, encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc) and ISP type (DSL, Cable, etc).
When you turn off your printer, are you totally removing power from it (like shutting off a power strip)?

  • IPhone 5s won't automatic connect to cellular network after the wifi connection lost.

My iPhone 5s won't automatic connect to cellular network after the wifi connection lost. I have try make a restore and open again my cellular data but the problem is still there, after I try to restart my iphone then can use my cellular data, but after few hour ago I still confront the same problem too.

  • After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.1 it will not connect to the wifi network at work even though it recognizes it. It however still automatically connects to the network at home. I have restared the phone and toggled the router, still no connection

After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.1 it will not connect to the wifi network at work even though it recognizes it. It however still automatically connects to the network at home (this is the network I used to update the phone). My iPad however does not seem to have any problem connecting. I have restared the phone, toggled the router, re-entered the network password but there's still no connection.

When your device is trying to connect to the work Wi-Fi network, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > then tap on the name of the Netowrk that she is having trouble with. Then tap on forget this network. Let the device attempt to connect again and make absolutely sure she is trying to connect to the work network and not a nearby network, then make absolutely sure the password is entered correctly.

  • Won't automatically connect to Airport network after 10.4.8 update

After updating my Mac Mini CoreDuo from 10.4.7 to 10.4.8, it will no longer automatically connect to our Airport Express based Wi-Fi network. Even though the Network settings in System Preferences have not changed, and they do list it as the preferred network, it still will not automatically connect after log in.
Does anyone have this issue, and know of a solution?
(aside from the workaround of manually connecting after log in, and after waking the computer from sleep).
Background: My setup is to join preferred networks by default, the network name continues to be the one listed, the network still continues to show up in the Airport network list in the upper right corner of the screen. In essence, the Mac sees it is there but just won't connect to it. We have two other Macs in the household, both are PowerPC based, and both were updated to 10.4.8, and they have no issues. They continue to automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network we have. This seems to be with our Intel Mac only.
Mac Mini CoreDuo   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Mac OS X 10.4.8

This all happens most likely due to a corrupted key chain (entry).
For instance, if you choose to keep your local Airport password stored in your personal key chain it needs to be accessible by the private Apple Airport Framework used by the network preferences. If this by any means, is not possible - the automatic login into you Airport WiFi network cannot take place.
All you have to do to get this fixed is:
    1) Launch your Keychain Access Application located at: /Applications/Utilities
    2) Open the Keychain First Aid (under the Main Menu: Keychain Access)
    3) Set the Radio Button to Repair and enter your Keychain Password (most likely your personal password)
    4) Start.....
Now after your personal keychain (name=username) is repaired it might be listed double in your Keychain List Window (it depends how you've setup the keychain). If so, NEVER DELETE ONE OF THIS ENTRIES because that's obviously a cosmetic bug in the Keychain Access Application but not harmful. Just look in your local Preferences Folder, locate the file "com.apple.keychainaccess.plist" and thrash it. Re-launch the Keychain Access Application and there is only one again.
    Restart your Mac and........
After all I think anything should be back up to how it supposed to be. :-))

  • Phone won't automatically connect to the bluetooth in my vehicle

I just bought a Q10. My audio connected to my car bluetooth but not the phone for calls. I can't find "trusted device" on my phone bluetooth options. I turned bluetooth off and then on again and battery pull. Phone still won't connect. Any suggestions?

To allow full auto connnection, the Bluetooth device must be set as a TRUSTED DEVICE in Device Properties in Bluetooth Options.
I sure hope this helps someone else as Verizon was utterly unable to help and this forum was silent, too.
It was Parrot technical that helped, and very quickly, too.

  • Coming out of sleep my iMac will not automatically connect to the network

I've got rid of other networks in system preferences, but they still appear on the toolbar when I click airport, and my network is not first
Also, again on the toolbar, my network appears twice
Perhaps these two problems are connected
    Hope someone can help

Its seems replacing the kext from 10.7.2 helps, but that could be daunting for some users and tbh not something I would recommend. Apple could release a patch or wait to roll it into 10.7.4 or an updated 10.7.3 v1 maybe, who knows!  Since there is a work around (the power button) I imagine it may be a while but I cannot speculate. For now I am connected via Ethernet and will be leaving things like this from now on as the connection is better, but for those that use wifi I would suggest just using the power button, and just wait and see, Apple will release the fix when Apple wants to, they never discuss bugs and glitches so we just have to wait and see, there is no time frame, I mean iOS 5.1 is still not out and people have been complaining since the 4S came out about bugs that 5.0.1 did not fix since October/November last year.

  • PC will not automatically connect to wireless network on startup...

Hi all - I have a WRTG54 wirless router with the latest firmware.  Windows XP Home SP2.  I have a mixed network with two wired PCs and one wireless.  The wireless PC will not automatically connect to the network. To connect to the network i have to go to the wireless network properties box and check "let windows automatically configure network"  Once I do this the wirelss PC connects with no problem.  Unfortunatley, whenever i turn the PC off and turn it back on the "let windows automatically configure network" is unchecked and i have to go through the process of checking it again.  I uninstalled the wireless adapter and reinstalled the drivers only and then ran the windows wireless setup wizard but the problem persists.  Any help on this would be much appreciated.!!!! Thanks!!

First of all, give your network a unique SSID. Do not use "linksys". If you are using "linksys" you may be trying to connect to your neighbor's router. Also set "SSID Broadcast" to "enabled". This will help your computer find and lock on to your router's signal.
Do not let "Windows automatically configure your network".  Instead do the following:
Also, in the computer, go to your wireless software, and go to "Preferred Networks" (sometimes called "Profiles" ). There are probably a few networks listed. Delete any network named "linksys". Also delete any network that you do not recognize, or that you no longer use.  Delete your current network (this will remove any old settings).  Reboot computer.  Return to "Preferred Networks" and re-enter your current network info (SSID, encryption (if any), and key (if any) ). Then select your current network and make it your default network, and set it to automatic login. You may need to go to "settings" to do this, or you may need to right click on your network and select "Properties" or "settings".  Reboot computer.  It should connect automatically.  If you still have trouble, in the computer, temporarily disable your software firewall, including Windows Firewall, and see if that helps.
Some users have reported improved wireless connections by switching to WPA  ( = WPA with TKIP)  encryption.

  • My Macbook Pro suddenly won't stay connected to the internet.

My Macbook Pro recently has had problems staying connected to the Internet. Our other Macbook Pro is having the same problems. I have already spoken with with our ISP, AT&T. After trying several things, they said that it may have to do with Safari and that they couldn't suggest any settings changes to our browser because it might disqualify any warranties that we have on our Notebook if another company makes changes to it. I've spent hours and hours trying to resolve this and it's driving me nuts. Also my wireless HP Printer won't stay connected either. Not long ago AT&T sent us a new modem/router (all-in-one), that is why I called AT&T to see if it was the new modem. But come to think of it, I had called AT&T because of this connectivity issue and now I'm thinking that it wasn't them at all. Maybe it has to do with Apple. I'm a Apple lover, so please help!!!

Also my wireless HP Printer won't stay connected either.
Does that mean it won't stay connected to the network, or it's not reachable from your Mac? There's a difference.

  • IMac won't automatically connect to Wi-Fi.

iMac won't automatically connect to Wi-Fi.  I can connect manually using "Network Diagnostics".  After I select my router the connection is made.  How can I make it automatic again?  I only have a medium/low expertise.  Software is Mac OS X v10.7.5.
The problem all started when I let Nintendo do a computer share in order to connect to a Wii U.  The tech was into so many things I couldn't keep track of them.  I have tried everything I know to fix it but to no avail.  I even let Nintendo try twice to correct this...no luck.

Hello, how do you fetit to connect?
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...

Instead of joining it from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

I updated my 4s to IOS 8 and now it won't automatically connect with my Ford SYNC.  I have to turn the phone off and then on again for it to connect.
Why is this?  My husband's 4s is still on IOS7 and it still connects automatically.

I do not know if this will help.
For a limited time Apple will allow you to downgrade to 7.1.2.  Hurry do not wait.

  • I can't make my iphone 4 forget the hpsetup network which keeps showing up at work. My phone won't automatically connect to my company's wireless network.

I can't make my iphone 4 forget the hpsetup network which keeps showing up at work. My phone won't automatically connect to my company's wireless network. I have to reselect it everytime I come to work.

Settings/General/Reset - Reset network settings will "forget" all WiFi networks so you can select them again.
If the problem with your company network is not solved by doing this, are there multiple sites that have the same network name for the company network? Or is it the default network name for the router type (e.g., DLINK, LINKSYS, etc)? If so, this is what is causing the problem and there is no solution other than convincing IT that it is a bad idea to have duplicate network names.

Since replacing my flying saucer airport with a 2 terrabyte Time Capsule, my MacBook Pro will not automatically connect to the wireless network when it wakes or turns on.  Once connected, all wirelessly networked devices work appropriately. • IOS devices won't automatically join Airport Express network

I'm at a friends place in New Zealand at the moment. I originally set up their network for them so know all about it. It's very simple. ISP router with wireless turned off. Ethernet cable into an Airport Extreme. That's it. The Airport Extreme is serving all the wireless traffic. They are a Mac only household.
I can get MacBooks to automatically connect when they come in and out of the house or turn wifi off and on but can not get this to work for iOS devices. If I go and manually join to the wireless network it happily joins without asking for a password but it will not auto join. When a device that was previously connected to the network comes back within range it refuses to automatically connect even if it's right next to the Airport. Even after I do join an iOS device to the network if the phone sleeps or autolocks it immediately loses connection again and won't auto join.
I've tried restarting everything including the iOS devices, Airport Extreme and ISP router. Everything is on the latest versions. iOS 8.0.2 for the iOS devices and the Airport Extreme is on 7.6.4. There's nothing else to restart. Any clues anyone?

    Can Anyone help? Apple?
