My photostream photos have stopped uploading to my PC.

My photostream used to work great and quickly sync to my pc.  In mid November it stopped working.  I did not change anything.  I've checked my settings on my phone and photostream is still on, on my icloud control panel photos is checked and in options both options are checked and apply is clicked.  My storage is not full.  My wifi on my phone is working.  I have windows 7 and an Iphone 5 ios version 7.0.4.  Please help!

Have restarted iPhone and iPhoto on my MacBook. No luck. Have quit camera and photos on iPhone. Am running Mavericks (just updated the other day, but was having the issue before the update) and iPhoto 9.5.1 on my Mac.
Phone and computer are almost always connected to wifi; every now and then a photo will upload to Photo Stream about 24 hours after I take it. But not always and not every photo that's taken (I took 5 the other day and 1 uploaded the next day).

  • My photos have stopped uploading to my pc/photostream.

Photos were uploading until 10/2013, then just stopped.   I have seen several posts regarding this problem and tried a few solutions.  Most recently, signing out an back into to iCloud, but no results.

  • My iPhone photos have stopped uploading to photostream

I did the iOS update months ago without problems; this has only started within the last week. All settings are correct. I started moving photos to an iCloud share folder, but those aren't syncing with iPhoto on my computer, either. Any ideas?

  • Photos have stopped uploading to iCloud Photo Library

I turned on iCloud Photo Library on my iPad Mini & iPhone 5S on Wednesday last week. Friday night it stopped working on both devices. It keeps trying to upload but then reverts to saying "Uploading 1 photo". How do I get this working again without losing the photos I have taken in the meantime?

    Hi,
I had this exactly. My iPhone and iPad got stuck just moments after I enabled Icloud Photo Library.
I then plugged my ipad overnight to a charger and in the morning, it was all synced
So I plugged my iphone and it immediately started syncing the rest.
    Hope it helps someone

  • My photos have stopped showing up on my pc from my iPhone.  They do still show up on my iPad.  I have signed out of iCloud on my pc and then signed in, but that didn't help.  Very puzzling.  Any help?

My iphone photos have stopped showing up in my photo stream folder on my pc.  They do show up on my iPad.  I tried signing out and back into to iCloud on my pc, but no help.  Any ideas?

The iCloud backup only backs up your camera roll photos, not photo stream photos.  Also, photos only remain in photo stream for 30 days.  After that they are removed from your photo stream, but will remain on your devices that already have them.  If all your photo stream photos are older than 30 days, that would explain why they don't stream to your iPhone 5 even though they are on your iPad.
To get them on your phone, you can use an app like PhotoSync, which will wirelessly transfer photos from any album (including photo stream) between your devices.  Alternatively, you can save the photo stream photos to the camera roll on your iPad (by opening the My Photo Stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll), then import them to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), put them in a folder, then select the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync them to your phone.

  • My Photos have stopped streaming to my pc

My Photos have stopped streaming to my PC from Iphone 4s & Ipad.  I have IOS 8.1.1 on both  phone & Ipad.  I have iCloud 4 on pC. It was working fine before I upgraded to iCloud 4.
The photos are streaming between my two apple products just not to my PC.
    Thanks for any help.

  • IOS Photo library stopped uploading pictures on both my iPhone and iPad

On the same day (February 25, 2015), both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 (latest OS update) stopped uploading new photos to iCloud. I've been searching everywhere for a solution. I am afraid to turn the function off and then back on in the settings as I am not entirely sure what will happen to my photos, Apple's explanations notwithstanding.
    Any help?

Thanks for your reply.  I use Sky email which is managed by google. I have now deleted the account and set it up again and that seems to be working now. I'm still having problems just getting the Internet connection to work. I won't be taking on any more software upgrades in future until I'm sure that they are worth it.

  • My iPhone doesn't show the PhotoStream photos what I uploaded with iCloud Control Panel on my PC. Why?

I just copied some pictures to the "C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\Photo Stream\Uploads folder and I opened the Photos on my iPhone but the PhotoStream is fully empty. I can see the uploaded photos in the My Photo Stream folder but not on my iPhone. Why?

Have you ensured that PhotoStream is on in the iCloud Settings in your iPhone?
Make sure you're connected to WiFi with a good connection.
Make sure you have at least 20% battery life on your phone. PhotoStream will not work unless you have at least 20% battery.
Try turning your phone off and then turning it back on again.

  • Hello. My iphone was recently stolen. My laptop operates XP. I have seen that my icloud account has used about 4Gb of memory so assume that my photos have automatically uploaded to icloud. Is there anyway I can download the photos to my laptop?

    Hello
My iphone was recently stolen. I am hoping, by virtue of icloud memory used which I have viewed on a friend's Apple PC that my family photos are still on icloud. I assume that there is a chance my photos were uploaded automatically to icloud. My own laptop is XP only so I cannot access Photostream from my laptop.
Is there any way i can access icloud photostream and download all my family photos to my laptop?
    Please help.
    Nigel

Not with Windows XP, you need Windows 7 or 8, or a Mac.

  • HT203082 all of a sudden on 11/5 my photo stream stopped uploading photos on PC (Win 7) any advice?

My Photo Stream is no longer adding photos to iCloud for PC WINDOWS 7. any idea why?

    Hi,
I have the same problem in that all of a sudden, photos taken on my I Pad 6 and IPhone IOS 8 cease to appear on my "my photo stream ' ( M-P-S) in my pictures file in my PC -windows 8.
I cloud photo Beta is disengaged and did not affect the uploading when photos were appearing in M P S.
The fact that photos taken now  are still being uploaded on the other IOS confirms that Icloud is working?
The problem seems to relate to M -P     -S on the PC?
Does anybody else have the same problem and a solution?

  • My photos have stopped automatically turning when I turn my phone around

When viewing photos if I turn my phone the photo used to turn into landscape mode. It has stopped doing this. Why?? Please help.

Thank you so much. I have found the answer on similar previous questions. Double click the button at bottom of your phone to show the apps you have open. Scroll to the left. You will see an icon with an arrow rotating - portrait orientation locked or unlocked - tap it to unlock!   Brilliant.

  • Hi. how does one make sure photos have been uploaded to I cloud

trying to update to IOS 8 on my iphone 4s from IOS 7.1.2. cannot due to storage requirements. asking me to delete items. what should I do?  most are photos  how do I make sure they are now in cloud and can be safely deleted from phone storage.

    Be very careful.
Only the last 1000 photos maximum are stored in iCloud and for a maximum of 30 days.
In the new version of iCloud Photo Library (which is in Beta) it will keep all photos, but you are not using that version yet as you need iOS 8 installed to do that.
The best thing to do is connect your iPhone to your computer and transfer the photos from the photo to your computer.
The instructions on how to do it are here:
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC

  • Do photostream photos get saved forever on your mac?

After a photostream photo has been upload to my mac, will it be deleted from my mac after a certain amount of time or is it now saved on my mac forever? I notice that photos are saved to a new event titled, for example, Sept 1 - Oct 1, 2012 photostream. Will those photos eventually be deleted if they are not saved to a new event?

    Two totally seperate things
Yes the photos in PhotoStream are deletes when you reach 1000 photos in PS or after 30 days or when deleted on any of your devices
Photos that have been imported into iPhoto (either by the automatic import preference or manually) and are in events are not affected by the source photo being deleted
You indicate that your are in an event. Those will not be deleted unless you delete them using iPhoto

  • Photos won't upload to photo stream folder on PC

When I updated to the new iOS7 my photo stream stopped uploading directly to my PC. Same phone, same iCloud settings, they just don't update. What's the deal?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.
