My pinned App Tabs do not reappear after I close and then reopen Firefox 4. Why is this happening? What can I do about it?
Using Firefox 4:
I right-click on a tab to "pin as app tab."
The new app tab appears as expected.
But after I close and then reopen Firefox 4, my app tab(s) no longer appear. They go away. Repeated cycles of the above do not keep the app tabs present .
Advise on this would be appreciated.

I have been having this problem on occasion for a while. (Most recently in firefox 7) I just discovered that I had a phantom firefox.exe process running for some reason. This has the same effect as closing your tabbed window before a non tabbed window. I killed the process and my app tabs magically work again.

Thank you.App tabs are only restored if you restore the session. [[Options window - General panel#w_startup]] 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' will always restore your tabs and app tabs.
Using the history menu item and then 'Restore previous session' or set about:home as your home page and it will have a button to restore your previous session. Will also work. -
I want to download pages, it won't let me. Says it need os x 10.9 or later…I have os x 10.8.5…all updates have been done. Why is this? what can i do? Is there another pages app i can use? thanks do i need to download maverick? thanks
Pages 5 requires OSX 10.9, for some reason that only Apple knows. Many users will not be able to install Mavericks on their Macs or do not want to.
It has simultaneously removed iWork '09/Pages '09 from the App Store.
You could ask Apple why it does things like this, but it doesn't say.
If you don't already have iWork '09 I believe you can still purchase it from Amazon.

You won't be able to create a new iCloud account on your phone as the maximum number of accouts have already been created. Your only options are to either re-use one of the accounts previously created or create a new account to use on a different iOS device or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or higher), if you have one.

Pinned App Tabs will not shrink to flavicon. They stay large in width like a regular tab.
On my Windows 7 machine, I can pin app tabs but they never shrink to a flavicon. They stay large in width and look like a regular tab so there is no space saving. I do not have this problem on either of my XP machines.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Pinned app tabs don't logout on browser close
Pinned app tabs are restored on browser restart, however I have gmail pinned, with save passwords disabled, and still when I close the browser, it automatically logs in.
I tried it with private browsing, disabling cookies, deleting cookies on browser restart... still the same.I was just trying to fix this too. I found a solution here: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/810049
You need to change the about:config option ''browser.sessionstore.privacy_level''. The link suggests '2' (store nothing) but '1' (only store for non-https) will also work. -

The CPU usage is 99% everytime I start firefox. When I open help tabs in the browser to troubleshoot the problem the cpu goes down to normal.How am I supposed to troubleshoot the issue if the last resort is as simple as uninstalling firefox?

Reading your comments I do not see that rolling back to an insecure Firefox 22 will actually help you much. You are probably best using IE, unless you have also damaged that.

Most others will not be having such problems. We are now able to say that with confidence because after developers missed a regression in Firefox 4 telemetry was introduced so that data was obtained. It may be an idea to turn on your telemetry, if you have not already done so, and decide to stick with Firefox.

Apple IDs use a email address and a password you create for that email address on Apples website.
There should be a link on whatever page you are on to Create an Apple ID. Click that link.
Or just open App Store from the link on you Dock then Find the link to create an Apple ID.
Absolutely not. You can create a blank password. Yes it's stupid. Yes it's unsafe. But from helping people with their Macs, I find most do not set up a password. <facepalm> -

If you have failed to do this, then they are likey gone.

So are you saying there is a better way or another way to do that? Or are you just telling me that's how it works? Because I know that the includeIn isn't creating the other buttons untill they are needed. I need them created when the button is created. That is my question, how do I get the other states to be created when the button is created so that I don't see the button flash black?

I recently updated my software to ios6 & have now found camera not working on my ipad. We have tried resetting & numerous other solutions but nothing has helped. Can anyone tll me why this has happened & ow o I fix it, thanks
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar at bottom
