No matter what headphones I put in they only play on one side can someone please help, it is frustrating I've only had this computer for about a year. I see that you are having some issues with your headphones. It does sound like a hardware issue with the headphone jack if this happens with multiple sets of headphones. You try reinstalling your IDT High Definition Audio driver. If that doesn't work then I would recommend calling HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or visit this link if you are outside of North America.

The music only plays in one year of my earbuds. I am considering getting new ones, but I want to see if there is anyting that can fix the problem before I buy new ones. I have an iPod mini fyi.

Unfortunately that is the way the interface is designed. If you select an album from the albums menu, then it plays an album, optionally shuffled and/or repeated. If you select from the artists menu then you should be able to shuffle the albums or songs by that artist or have them played in sequence, again with options to repeat. You can also cue up a number of songs or albums with the On-the-Go playlist feature.

Has my headset only plays in one ear. Is it broken ? or is it the phone? whats going on? will apple replace my headset or phone?
Are you sure you have the jack pushed all the way into the port? It's a bit recessed. If so, take it to the store (make an appointment with a "genius" first, you can do that online http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/)to see if it's a defective head set or phone. IF defective they will most likely replace it on the spot.

Have content of iTunes on both Appletvs but can only play on one. Tv menu won't let me choose both locations. How do I correct this? ITunes Home Sharing is on. Multiple Airplay is on from the iTunes menu, too. Thanks, Taking too long to get music!
If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go -

I pod only plays real softly when connected to radio. tried two different radios with some result. (crank radio full blast and barely hear) Radio recognizes it is connected.
I'm guessing that you've set it to repeat. Tap your screen when the song is playing and tap the circling arrow sign with a "1" on it.

IE8 + Flash 10.0.32.18: 2 User Accounts but Flash only plays in one
This problem is actually not browser unique, as I can't get flash to work with IE8, Firefox, or Chrome in one account.
I've been trying to sort this problem out for awhile, but can't seem to crack it. Windows XP (home) sp3, Eset NOD32 AV, Comodo Firewall, WinPatrol, etc.
I thought there was a problem with the installation of the Flash player, so downloaded the uninstall utility, ran it, rebooted, checked the registry and deleted the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Code Store Database\DistributionUnits\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000} folder, (according to instructions here ), installed the latest version of Adobe Flash from the downloaded standalone installation files. Installation flash video indicated a successful installation. Went to C:Windows/system32/macromedia/Flash/ and updated the .exe file to the latest available...

I have two user accounts on this system, both currently have administrative rights. One is a bit sleeker, as I use it only for admin tasks. On it the flash content will play. On the other account, no amount of fiddling with security settings, active x, java settings, and so forth seems to enable the flash content to play. When I navigate to the site, I get a blank space on the page where the flash content should play, or if I choose play videos a pop up white screen with no content. If I right click on the window, the adobe flash menu appears, but settings are not active or accessible, and don't seem to work as they normally would.
I've read through all the installation notes about Flash on the Adobe site, have attempted various lower security settings in the browser, no luck...tryed resetting IE8 to default settings, reinstalled Flash. The System is scanning free of any malware with Eset, Mbam, SAS, Defender.
I've tried disabling the comodo firewall and using only Windows firewall, no effect.
If anyone out there can indicate a direction that would help me to sort this out I'd sure appreciate the input...Many thanks in advance.
(I'd be happy to attach a log file of the installation if anyone knows how to decipher it...seems like the C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\nsn83E.tmp\NSISArray.dll file was skipped a lot) - but then Flash works fine in the other user account....Found the last piece of the puzzle, it was a registry key in the HKEY Current User. Once I deleted it for Shockwave Player my issues went away where the Flash would only run for one user unless it was reinstalled on every user. Uninstall Shockwave Player, its object and delete the following key from every HKEY Current User and Flash will work again. Look at all of the settings for the Current User:

Podcast only playing in one speaker...sometimes
This is odd. When I play my podcast on my computer through iTunes, it sounds fine. But when I put it on my iPod, it only comes through one speaker. Anyone have any idea what could be causing that? It's the only podcast which does that on my iPod, and like I said, it comes out of both speakers when I play it on the computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Looking at the actual waveforms of the MP3 with an audio editing application, everything is in the left channel with the exception of your opening and closing music which is in the right channel. Nothing in the right channel during the sermon. This is the way the track was created...

New iPhone only plays from one headphone.
I got my iPhone 5 today and music only plays from the right headphone, no matter what headset I use. This also happened with my iPhone 4 so I thought the problem would be gone with the new phone. So I am thinking it might be a setting or something, but I can't figure out how to change it. Thanks for any help!
Forgive what may be a dumb question in my part, but you have confirmed that the headphones are fully plugged in? I haven't had hands on an iPhone 5 to check, but with most other Apple devices, the headphones take a pretty firm push to get them fully seated. There's normally a light "snap" that can be felt when they're completely plugged in.

Music only plays in one ear, ipod nano 5th generation
My ipod nano 5th gen had been acting up since january, the sound would be popping on and off in one ear but the other would be fine. I thought it was the earphones so I kept buying new ones, but still it didn't change much, so then around march, it finally just stop playing in one ear. I'm pretty sure that there's a problem with my headphone jack, and I can see that inside, you know the two bumps, the top one is kind of inside my ipod. I don't really know what to do! Help me, please!
You will have to replace the headphone jack in the iPod.

Music only playing through one speaker
I had an Ipod nano second generation that would only play music through one speaker when connected through a wire so I bought a new nano third generation. The new nano has the same issue. I have bought 3 different wires which would work for a period of time then start playing only through one speaker. I have also had my car speakers checked out and there are no issues there. Is there a problem with the jack inside the Ipod? What can I do?
We have started to have similar problems plugging into the auxiliary jack of a car radio. Sometimes one speaker, sometimes the other, depending on the cable, and occasionally both. Connecting and disconnecting the iPod to the car's battery changes the speaker that works.

If none of the 5 R's also help resolve this problem, it's likely hardware related with the headphone jack meaning you'll need to have the iPod serviced/replaced either by Apple or a third party service.
