My podcast doesn't appear on Itunes search
It has been 4 days now since I created my podcast and it still does not appear on Itunes search, nor does it appear when attemtping to browse for it under the categories and subcategories section. my podcast feed was validated so there doesn't appear to be anything wrong, and the image link is correct for the cover art...can anyone help?? Or do I have to wait a month till it finally shows up?
It can take quite a long time. It's not possible to comment further without knowing the details of your podcast.

Like many I am experiencing this very anoying problem.
My podcast was accepted by Apple on the 1st of January.
I was sent this phobos:

But after more than a month, I still can't find my Channel in the iTunes Search and I triple checked that both the channel and the items have tags and they do.

I don't understand why they would even have a <itunes:keywords> field if it never really gets used?
Also- I've found that the search returns favor the title of the episode. For instance, if you search for 'Georgia Tech', my podcast will come up because we had 'Georgia Tech' in the name of one of our podcasts.
Very strange....
I also think it might have something to do with feedburner's handeling of the xml code.

I can't seem to understand what's going on, could you help me please?I don't have experience of the various alternatives - I used Podcast Maker when I was running my podcast (it's not a blogging program, just podcasting) but I believe it's flaky with Mountain Lion.
WordPress is popular and can work well, but it's complicated and causes more questions on here than any other platform, so expect a steep learning curve. Blogger seems popular - I dislike it because the feed is all on one line and so pretty well impossible to read, but that needn't concern you. It can work well, but again you have to do everything correctly or it will fall over (though that's true in all cases).
Tumblr itself may well be OK, it's just that you haven't been using it correctly. Your earlier episodes are OK. -
IPhone doesn't appear in iTunes - tried everything

ok, my 3G iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes!!! I have tried reinstalling iTunes, removing the AppleMobileDevice extension, numerous restarts, hard reset the phone a couple of times. I deleted a podcast I tried to download over the air, deauthorised and authorised my iMac. Nothing!
Any other ideas. My phone does appear in iPhoto when opened. I am really lost now. I did change my AppleID recently, is that it?
Please help. I am going to try another Mac this lunch time, see if that helps. Perhaps its the phone?
Thanks!!Yahooo! Its fixed. At the direction of an iPhone Developer (thanks to Steve Troughton-Smith!) I installed (or possibly reinstalled) iPhoneSystemComponents.pkg and now I can sync and so on!

To get your device to appear in iTunes and to automatically sync with iTunes, simply disable backup to iCloud on your iOS device. Voila! Your iOS device will appear in iTunes and auto-sync the selected content. For example, I'm now subscribing to a ton of podcasts that I used to manually download one-by-one b/c the tethered syncing process was just too painful. Now that my iPhone 4S appears as an always-connected device in iTunes, the latest versions of my podcasts shall auotmatically appear on the iPhone when I awake in the morning before my long commute to work. -
after upgrading my iphone 4 to IOS5, it doesn't appear on "Itunes", and also i cann't transfer photos on "iphoto", .., so i cant load, save or erased anything now!
They are now in the videos app!

I have a MacBook Pro, I want to copy Itunes files to an SD card to play in my car, the SD Card doesn't appear in Itunes when I insert it, and I don't know how to convert the files to the correct format, can anyone help?
Thank youSo it seems from reading the COMMAND manual that my first issue is that I used a 16GB SD card, and the manual says it will only recogize up to a 2GB SD card. I did use my MB Air's SD card slot and crated a folder and dragged the music files to it, then to the card. So I am going to get a 2GB card and try that next. Otherwise just stick with the iPOD connected. At least that is 8GB

IPhone 3G doesn't appear in iTunes 10.6.3
After upgrading to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 a few weeks ago, I was unable to see my iPhone 3G in iTunes. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes, which fixed the problem, and I've synced once or twice since then. Today the device once again doesn't show up in iTunes. The cable works, since iPhoto (7.1.5) recognizes the device and downloads photos just fine. iTunes may not be totally to blame, since it can recognize my old iPod (1.1.2). The phone is on iOS 4.2.1. Restarting the phone and the computer made no difference. Any ideas for fixes?
Apple's support is worthless - it tells you what programs are needed on your computer and how to find if they are running, but fails to tell you how to install what might be missing. My iPhone would synch fine until I updated to iTunes 7, but now my computer thinks my phone is a camera and doesn't appear on iTunes. None of the support pages provide any help. It appears that Apple has adopted the Microsoft model for customer disservice! Any third party assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Latest ep of my podcast doesn't show in iTunes store. Subscribers CAN download it. Podcast page shows 'Total: 3 items' but lists only items 2 and 3. RSS feed is validated and fine. How do I get iTunes to display it?
I've used Feedburner many times and never had such a problem. I am a bit confused, forgive me if I ask for questions already answerd. Have you tried updating the podcast in someone elses copy of iTunes? My guess is that the file is bad since it is working in other programs but not iTunes. I would try making a new .mp4 file and podcasting it and seeing if that works.

Since I installed Windows 8 I haven't been able to sunc with itunes and my iphone doesn't appear either.
iTunes is not supported for use in Windows 8.

Ipod doesn't appear in itunes or on desktop - trouble transfering music
When connecting Ipod, it doesn't appear in itunes or on desktop (Windows). Attempted to fix.
Reinstalled itunes and ipod, also upgraded itunes - no success in fixing.
Restored ipod (through computer)- no success in fixing - and of course, lost all songs in ipod.
Now, ipod sometimes appears in itunes, sometimes doesn't.
I've had a little success transfering songs (albeit, inconsistently) back to ipod from itunes, but sporadically.
Itunes is working fine when playing songs on computer;
Ipod working fine when playing songs on ipod. It's difficult transferring songs back to ipod. I checked cable and port with other equipment. Cable and port appear to be working. When clicking on Safely Remove Hardware, computer identifies ipod as "drive 0." IPod doesn't appear in iTunes and Windows
I have a next problem with connecting nano with Windows:
iPod doesn't appear in iTunes: iTunes 7 diagnostic write that host-controller of bus IEEE 1394 was not found.
Sometimes Windows see the demountable disk, but can't open it. Occasionally, when i charge nano, iTunes gives out the message, that iPod is damaged.
After connecting iPod to the computer, it shows the "Do not disconnect" screen, which not disappear after nano disconnecting. And I need reset iPod everytime after charging.
Does any help me?I read this article.
I can't restore iPod because iPod Updater can't recognize it, when one connect to the computer.
How to solve the problem: as i wrote, iTunes diagnostic informs that can't find the controller IEEE 1394 (WiFi), but I HAVEN'T WiFi card on computer, I use USB 2.0. -
Nano doesn't appear in itunes "devices" screen
1. New nano 8G doesn't appear in itunes devices.
2. Connected ipod to comupter. Fives hours later nano screen shows "Connected" No other action.
