My podcast has gone from iTunes list
Hi
I have been using this feed for years now, and suddenly, without warning, it stopped working and I cannot find any trace of it on iTunes.
Why? I try and submit, but it says it is already submitted!
Existing subscribers will be able to access the episodes but it looks as if the podcast has been removed from the Store because of the inability to access the episodes. Certainly when I tried searching it didn't work - your acceptance email will have given you the URL of the Store page and you should check that.
If it's been removed you will have to resubmit it as a new podcast, and you will have to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted.

I want to listen to internet radio as I used to do. The selection "Radio" has gone from my list under "Music". How do I get it back again?
I don't know if this is what you really want, but I created a Playlist for Radio, and add some of the stations I like from websites. (If you click on the web-links they load into iTunes in the Sidebar). And you can also add individual Radio stations from the top right,(under Apple) to a Playlist. That's the only way I know to have them in the Sidebar.
Z_ZS-B, You also helped me to find the old Radio list! I didn't even know it was up on the right, under Apple. I haven't liked this version of iTunes so I hadn't even bothered to try and figure it out until now, but because I just bought a my first iPod Shuffle I'm determined to bend this version to my will. ;-) -
I downloaded the latest version of iTunes on my computer, and now my Podcasts are gone from iTunes (on my computer). Can I still access Podcasts in iTunes (on my computer) ? (I see the latest Podcasts downloading, but can't find them in iTunes. What am I overlooking?)
Could be since it (security software) is listed as #5 in the following:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows -
My podcast has dissappared from iTunes directory
I'm prepping for a conference in a few days where I was going to display some video podcasts - and my podcast has disappeared from the directory. Murphy's law? Please help!
Here's the feed. http://feeds.feedburner.com/IcastingFill out the form at:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/podcast
Under "Please Select A Question", choose 'Why was my podcast removed?'
If you were just going to show your podcast at this conference, just go to the Advanced menu, select 'Subscribe to podcast...' and plug in your feed URL. You can still see them in iTunes that way. -
How do I get games for my ipod classic? the clickwheel toolbar has gone from itunes!
I used to be able to buy games for my ipod classic by clicking on apps then clickwheel games, this option has dissapeared from itunes, does this mean I can't get them anymore? or can I get them some other way?
Hmmm. I see. It appears they have removed the Click Wheel Games altogether. I can't find any documentation regarding its removal.
Perhaps you should give Support a call and see what they say.

My Podcast is gone from Itunes?
Hi,
My podcast "hippojuice" has just dissapeared from the itunes store. It has been on Itunes for 3 years and updated with new shows every week. We have quite a few subscribers and no one can find the show. Can anyone help me out with this. I am really worried it was deleted by mistake by apple.
Thanks RoyceAs said above, searching on 'Hippojuice' produces no result. You haven't posted the URL for the Store page, so it's not possible to check that, but from what you say it does sound as if the podcast has actually been removed.
If it has been removed you should have received an email telling you so, though the reason is rarely accurately given. Possible reasons for removal are failure to find the feed or serious errors in the feed, copyright breach, or unacceptable material.
The only way to chase this up is to contact iTunes Support, though I have to say you will probably get a form answer telling you to submit a podcast. Possibly if you persist you may get somewhere. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options. -
My podcast has dissappeared from itunes?
My podcast (Drop The Bacon) has recently dissappeared from the itunes store and I cant seem to figure out why. The feed url is http://neonbacon.com/wordpress/?feed=podcast does anyone know whats going on?
First it is never a good idea to submit a multi-use feed to iTunes.
You really need to have a podcast specific feed that only lists podcasts on iTunes.
Second - this is likely not the issue - As long as the feed is still active - iTunes will keep it in there - if the feed dies and 404's for more than a few months - then it is removed.
What was your iTunes store page?
What is your RSS feed?
In any case still best to break your podcast feed up from your blog feed.

Rob W

My Podcast has disappeared from iTunes' directory
My podcast, Dave Kropf's Drummer Talk (feeds.feedburner.com/drummertalk) had been listed in iTunes for well over a month now. But now that iTunes 5 has come out, it is no longer listed.
Help!same here. my vlog has disappeared as well.

is this because I am a video podcast?
or just a glitch.

My podcast has vanished from iTunes and the podcast app. What to do?
Feed URL is http://podcast.mmradio.dk/feed.xml and iTunes claims that the feed is there, but i cant find it anywhere. It disapearred about a month ago. The feed validates fine from W3c Feed validator, and all files are present as they should according to the Apple Podcast Guidelines. Someone help me please?? is there an email for an apple support branch? i cant find it anywhere.
There is no technical problem with your feed, which can be subscribed to manually in iTunes. However searching on the title produces no result. Have you checked at the Store Page URL you were given in your acceptance email?
Obviously I can't give you an authoritative answer, but it seems quite likely that your podcast consists of a 'mix' of commercially issued music This is a breach of copyright, and in this case would be sufficient reason for them to remove it (though you would normally get an email telling you it had been removed, although not usually giving a reason).
You can't use copyright material in this way, and once you've been spotted at it any attempt to resubmit the podcast is likely to produce a rejection.
You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com but frankly I doubt you will get a useful answer.
There is a class of music known as 'podcast safe' which is allowable; Google on the term for more information. You are never going to get permission to use normally issued recordings. -
Bitrate set-up has gone from iTunes preferences
While browsing iTunes features on my Mac being provoked by my aroused interest in the formats that iTunes can play I noticed that in the Playback Tab of iTunes Preferences I don't see the options of setting bitrates for playing imported tracks (that is, not bought in iTunes Store) anymore. All that's remained are the quality options for video playback, but not those for audio. Why is it so and is it possible to change bitrate preferences?
Thanks for your support and knowledge.Go to preferences- general preferences- "when a cd is inserted" import settings

My podcast appears to have gone from iTunes
My podcast was working fine for the last 12 months. Yesterday I was contacted by a friend to ask where it's gone from iTunes. I can't find it anywhere now. Here are the URLs:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/swfuk-podcast/id886088578?mt=2
http://swfukpodcast.podbean.com/
I have checked with an RSS feed validator which suggest all is fine. All help very much appreciatedIn fact your feed is at http://swfukpodcast.podbean.com/feed/
Your podcast does appear to have been removed from the Store: when this happens an email is sent, so it may havew gone missing or been spam-trapped. It's difficult to see what could cause removal - the only thing which occurred to me is that they might have taken exception to the opening music on copyright grounds: it sounds as if you made it yourself - at any rate it's apparently computer generated, not the soundtrack, but of course the music itself is copyright and shouldn't have been used without clearance. I'm assuming that, since the 'explicit' tags are 'clean' that there is no strong or sexual language in the episodes.
It's often difficult to get a response on this subject from the Store staff, but the address to contact them on is podcasts 'at' apple.com - 'getsupport' is unlikely to help since they are geared to the actual application rather than podcast contents. -
