My podcast has no "recommanded podcast"
Hi There,
We have launched our Podcast series... Works great, but we have no "Listeners also subscribed to" in the bottom of the window like every podcast.
What is wrong?

Mine doesn't have the 'Recommend podcast' link either, though it does have 'Listeners also subscribed to'. Possibly not enough subscribers have been tracked as subscribing to something else? In any case, this is entirely an internal matter with the Store and nothing to do with your feed, so it's not something you can do anything about.

After months, yes, months on reading I finally going with a new rig. I read the tweakers pages, and other forums.
So I will be using this for premiere, AE, and resolve.

I read very confusing things about speeds, and CAS. And manufacturer.
I know asus has a recommanded list, but there is still a bunch of solutions... I also read something saying 1.35V was better, but there is not one in the asus recommended list...
I'd like to start with 4x8GB. I'll put 4 more in a few months....
Lastly, I can have a good deal on these, but 1333MHz seems ... poor ?

It seems every RAM cleared for P9X79E WS is 1.5V. There are ripjaws Z and X. Cannot tell the difference to save my life ! -
Measure time capsule temperature ?
Hi there,
is there any possible way to measure TC temperature and other physical specifications of TC?
(istat menu and pro just measure the hard disk space )The exyernal temperature of my 1 Terabyte TC, as measured with a digital thermometer in a 20 degrees room is:
Hard disk not operating: 37 to 40 degrees, according to where the thermometer is located
Hard disk operating: max temperature reached: 49 degrees
Since these data are well above the specs provided by Apple, has anyone recommandation on what to do?

i just started using this netbook for itunes at first it wouldnt let me purchase anything just free podcasts etc but i got that sorted it was just a matter of resetting the security questions because i hadnt made a purchased from this computer before. now it is allowing me to purchase no problem but itunes will not let me add my purchases to my ipod classic??? i can add all the free podcasts i want but anything that has been purchased is blocked from being added.my ipod show up in itunes but only as a summary thing i cant actually look through my music on the ipod in itunes on this computer

I have a podcast that has been submitted to itunes a few years back that has been working just fine. The person updating it broke it a few months back, I have fixed the error and reformatted it but the podcast still doesn't work. If I go in itunes and choose to open stream and connect to the podcast URL there, then it works just fine, but If I search for it in the itunes store (search: Jubilee Community Church) then a couple of the episodes show up (see The Art of Marriage by Stephen van Rhyn) but if I click on any of them it just tells me that my podcast is not available in the current store. But I submitted it from the UK store and it is not even available on that store. I have send numerous emails to Apple Support but they have been incredibly unhelpful. I hoped it would update overtime and start working again but its been a month and still nothing, I can't get hold of anyone technical from itunes support to reload my podcast or tell me whats wrong, I can't even resubmit my podcast because it's already been submitted and therefore won't allow me too. I've run out of options, any help would be appreciated!
A 4th gen iPod can not be upgraded to iOS 8. 7.0.2 is the high version it can run.

Apple has Major Issue with Podcast Updating
I have been getting reports from a large number of the folks we represent at RawVoice indicating they are having the same issue with the podcast listings updating in iTunes.
We are going to poll our 6000 podcasters and have them start watching this more closely. Everything has been working perfectly for such a long time most of us never check iTunes anymore.
It could be some update that iTunes is doing but it is negatively effecting many podcasters because the listeners do not know enough to hit Refresh on the subscription listing.
I know my download numbers are way down over the past week because it looks like I have not updated my show. Please check your podcast listings. If you see that they are not updating within a couple of hours of posting start submitting trouble tickets.
Something is broke and I don't think Apple is aware of it. I am getting standard boiler plate responses back from tech support. But if they have enough submissions then they will know something is jacked up.
Here is the info to submit a ticket, you will have to be persistent or you will not get a response.

My iPhone 3GS is producing a digital delay in podcasts only. No effect in Music or games. I tried a factory restore with no effect. Any ideas?

Podcast has downloaded for some people but not others
hello
i have an established podcast we have been running for 3 years now. We've just reached our 54th episode and after i uploaded it the podcast it went through to the itunes store... i refreshed my podcast directory and it didnt download to my imacs itunes it also didnt download to my laptops itunes BUT it has downloaded to other subscribers. Ive asked a few people and some have the podcast others dont, the server may have gone downwehn i uploaded it but since then ive deleted of our website and server and reuploaded and i still have the same problem. the podcast is on our website fine and the direct download link is working... its in the itunes store and you can listen to it through the store on itunes but it doesnt seem to be downloading to everybody who has subscribed
i really cant work out what has happened here?
some people have tried subscribing from fresh and it seems to work for them, its just so random!?
episode 54 is the issue. we havent uploaded anymore since as were worried it wont work again but are now getting a backlog of podcast and really need to get them out asap

BrinsleyIt works perfectly well for me, both in the Store and in iTunes when subscribing, so I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work unless you server is sometimes failing to answer requests, or is sometimes so slow that iTunes is timing out.

There's nothing in the feed to cause this problem, but it doesn't contain the 'iTunes declaration' at the top or any itunes tags: so though it takes the information from the 'description' tag you will get no image (there is no 'itunes:image' tag) - as you've been running OK for three years you may not feel bothered about this. -
Podcast freezes when i open and has to be closed with task manager.
When I click into podcasts, it freezes almost instantly and has to be closed with task manager. I believe the culprit may be a login window that pops up asking me to enter a password for a premium service i once used from a certain podcast that i no longer subscribe to. i've tried going into the system files to delete all the files related to that podast, but it's still on the page. and i can't remove it from the page because it freezes. Can anyone help?
I've had this issue for months and have received zero response from Apple. Ever since the "upgrade" to 11 podcasts have been infuriating within iTunes.

is there an EASY way to submit podcasts to the itunes store? i've tried creating podcasts in garageband, then somewhere after wordpress itunes doesn't recognize the feed.
my process has been (i am open to suggestions for other free and EASY services/methods):
garageband : create & edit audio. add 1400x1400 image.
share to itunes.
drag file to desktop.
upload .m4a file to google drive.
create a link post in wordpress using "podcast" tag & create "podcast" category.
click on "entries rss" in wordpress, which takes me to the rss subscribe page (which is basically just my wordpress address with "/feed" at the end.
i copy this url.
go to itunes store > then "submit a podcast"
itunes gives me the error message "we had difficulty downloading episodes from your feed."
when i try to subscribe to my podcast in itunes, it does, but gives me no episodes available.
i went back into wordpress and changed settings/ reading settings to : "full text" from "summary"
still the same error message.
i added a feedburner step after wordpress but got the same errors. i don't think i should have to add feedburner.
wordpress seems to be encapsulating the rss, what am i doing wrong?
this so much easier when you could go directly from garage band to iweb to mobileme; i miss those apple days (also idisk).if anyone has a super EASY process, i would LOVE to know what it is. EASY, meaning no html and also free. there are many free online storage systems available, many of which i currently use. the above process was just me trying to figure it out, if you have an easier method, please share. thank you so much!

iTunes has recently began corrupting my Music and some of the Podcasts. An exclamation mark appears at a random selection of songs - about a thoussanad of them - and they will not play as iTunes says that it cannot locate the file. This also has happened on a number of Podcasts. Any one else encountered this?
This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, if you are running Windows (you've posted in iTunes for Windows, but your sig mentions Mac OS X...), and as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes.

The computer I use for Itunes (my laptop) only has XP so I can't use ICloud:(
I have a desktop that operates using with Vista.
I downloaded 10.5 and sought to sync my two iphones and two ipads with the desktop in order to use ICloud. However I got warning messages that if I synced with this computer that had none of my extensive library of apps, music, podcasts, etc. would be on it, I would lose it all.
I did authorize the computer. I knew enough to do that but am terrified that I will lose everything that I have accumulated and still won't be able to use ICloud.
Isn't there a way to do this? Shift my library FROM my devices to the desktop?
ThanksThis is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -
The cover art does not show on My iTunes library even when I'm playing it. The cover art does not show in Word press either when you open it on a laptop. But I think I used a feed burner for the podcast and that's why the word press done now has come up. My question is that iTunes have Successfully I did my podcast however my son now is not my heart and I need to change that. Can anybody here please help me? I think it has something to do with the feed burner or potentially the way I have uploaded. I uploaded the podcast directly into WordPress I did not use any other hosting sites like libsyn.

It's only that I'm not clear why you are reluctant to post it. If you have a podcast in the iTunes Store then it's there for the world to see - they might search on its subject or title, for example, even if they don't actually know about it from you. If you look at other posts in this forum you will see that usually people post their URLs and then I can examine the feed and hopefully find out from that what the problem is. Without this information no-one can give you anything more than wild guesses.

I have a podcast episode that I would like to delete from my ipod touch. I have removed the episode from itunes, but it remains on my touch when I sync. I have even deleted the podcast from itunes, sync, and it still remains. I am able to download and delete new episodes, but no luck on removing this episode. Has anyone had this happened to them and how did you resolve the problem.
Settings- General-Usage- Music-Edit- hit the minus bar and POOF! It's deleted

I subscribe to my video podcasts but some of them either has a small red E next to them and won't download new content or some just doesn't download new content. I have been watching the Rachael Maddow video podcast for at least a month with no problems. Now suddenly it won't download the last nights show. I have read and followed all troubleshoot and cannot find a solution. I have unsubscribed and re-subscribed to no avail. Can someone help me with this problem?
