My podcast is available in iTunes but picture is not working

pictures uploaded and xml is also correct

after podcast is in itunes there is no picture

FeedValidator says the feed is valid: it throws up two points:
line 234, column 0: Missing atom:link with rel="self"
You can ignore this - it's to do with the ancient 'Atom' feed reader which few peple use.
line 234, column 0: Missing recommended iTunes channel element: itunes:explicit
You don't need the 'explicit' tag unless you have strong or sexual language in your podcast. If you do, it should be present and set to 'yes'.

Start with removing iTunes in the order of the first article states, which is iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later). Once that is done, then download iTunes 64 bit version from the second link below and run that installer.

Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.
I fail to see how restoring your iPad would enable yoyr Apple ID.

I installed the lastest version of iTunes and when I went to manually sync my iPod I got a message saying error -50. I tried re-installing the latest version of iTunes but that did not work. I then tried re-installing an earlier version of iTunes

Quit iTunes, reboot your PC, restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

What exactly happens when yu ty to restore?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have followed the instructions on the apple support pages and still cannot get my phone to work. It continues to show the iTunes USB picture and is not recognised on my iTunes on the windows PC. When I connect the phone to my iMac it shows no data and says I can restore to factory setting. However if I do this will all my data be erased? How do I get my phone and data back? I have saved most of the photos that were on the phone but all my contact details and messages are stored and I really need to get them back! Would have limited memory on the phone when trying to update caused this problem?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

As the App Store is pre-installed on the device, it can't really be removed. I'm thinking the icon is either stashed on another folder, or it's been turned off. If it's in a folder the only way to really find it is to look through all folders on your device for the icon. To check if it's turned off, go to Settings > General > Restrictions (it will ask for a passcode, if your children went into restrictions they created this passcode if it didn't already exist) and make sure "Installing Apps" didn't get turned off (if it's turned off the icon disappears from the Home screens).

When you say they did not work do you mean they didn't work as you expected or they weren't downloaded to your computer? You can only get a refund in certain specific cases, if there's a problem with, say, an app, you should contact the developer's customer support, what is the specific circumstance of your purchase that didn't work?

Podcast downloads fine, but Subscribe is not working

My feed validates, is showing up in the iTunes store and I can download individual episodes without problem. Yet when I click the "Subscribe" button, it does not work. The name of the podcast shows up in the Podcasts section of my iTunes, but it does not download any episodes. And when new episodes are posted, those don't download either. Other people who I've talked to who have tried subscribing to my podcast are having the same problem. I've checked all my iTunes settings, and everything seems to be in good order, as I'm having no difficulty subscribing to other podcasts.

You have introduced a fatal error into your feed: at the moment the Store will be showing a cached version but iTunes cannot read it and so subscribing does not work.
Several episodes have this:
<itunes:summary>Adam & Nate talk with Best Week Ever's Nick Turner....
The ampersand ('&') wrecks the feed because in XML it signifies the beginning of a code sequence which is never finished - this invalidates the rest of the feed including the closing tags, so that invalidates the opening tags and the entire feed becomes unreadable.
You need to search for every instance of this and replace it either with the word 'and' or with this code:
&
I would suggest using the 'and' as being more gramatically correct and less fuss unless you are particularly keen on the ampersand.
