My pods internet wont work when it's connected

My ipod shows the 3 wifi bars at the top but when I try an do anything to do with the internet it is not connected to the internet. i have tried everything like turning the wifi on and off, unplugging the router and plugging it back in again, resetting settings and restoring my ipod two times.
I NEED HELP!

The 169.254.119.17 IP address is a "self assigned" IP address meaning that your iPod was not able to Join (connect to) your wireless router. Everything else about your observations on your iPod seems OK.
So, upgrading to IOS 4.2.1 introduced the latest protocol standards for Wi-Fi and not all existing routers are compatible.
One problem is with the continuing use of WEP for wireless security (encryption). If you are using WEP, you should seriously consider changing to use WPA2 Personal, assuming your router supports that.
Since you have already reset your wireless router by turning it off and on, then it is likely your wireless router needs to have its firmware updated.
Sky is an ISP in the UK, right? I don't know anything about the router you have, but it is likely just provided by Sky and is either rebadged version of some other manufacturer or has another manufacturer's name on it. Perhaps you can find the manufacturer, model name, and from the configuration pages, the kind of wireless security you are using as well as the current firmware version and then "Check for updates" of go online to find router updates.

If you want to simply do a 'fresh' install (versus wiping out all of your data and doing a 'clean' install) simply boot to your Recovery partition (hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting) and when the Recovery screen appears, elect to freshly install OS X.
Don't know that will solve your problem, though... did you do the 'automatic' update or download the update as a disk image (.dmg)? I wouldn't think that would be causing your problems...

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

Go to settings, then wifi. There, you can choose a wifi router and if needed, enter the password. You haven't provided any details in your post. Are you trying to connect to a home network? A commercial network?

OK, that tutorial is different than what I assume you want. I suspect you want the ability to have users upload images and store the metadata of those images in a database, correct? That tutorial only shows how to upload to a specific location so the image can
be displayed in an iframe.
Search for "php file upload scripts" to see how to upload to a file system and store the metadata in the database.

As you are seeing, DW code is very limited in what it can do. It also generates code that is not up to current standards,and is very difficult to work with if you need to modify it. Basically, it's junk. Forget it and learn how to read and write code. There are tons on tutorials on how to get started with PHP. DW Server behaviors only seem like a time saver in the beginning. In the end, you'll end up wasting more time using them than learning how to code yourself.

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.

I saw a thread similar to this, but there was no vga=773 or whatever to my kernel in my menu.lst.
I just want to suspend, and have the ability to control freqs, any suggestions?

Hey, i got the new Catalyst 8.1, and suspend works, well, only when i have to manually run " echo -n mem > /sys/power/state" it works, but if i press suspend on my keybord, or go to system>shutdown>suspend it wont work.
