My pointer keeps freezing.and i have to keep restarting
I might be halfway through reading an E-Mail, or on one of my sites when every thing freezes.i wait for a while but the pointer is stuck in one position and will not move,I have to turn off the PC at the box, then turn it on again and repeat my password etc

Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

My mouse keeps freezing and I have to force quit. what could be the problem. this has never happened before and it has happened five times today.

My phone keeps saying the storage is full so I deleted pictures, apps, and all my texts. Then after I do this my phone freezes and I have to restart it. When I restart my phone then everything I deleted comes back. What is going on?

It sounds like your available free space is not reporting properly. I would start by quitting the Settings app:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

I have a MackBook Pro I updated to Maverick and now my internet won't open and all my programs freeze and I have to restart my computer. The only program that doesn't freeze is Microsoft Word.
Back up your documents and everything else important to you, not that there is any reason to believe your hard disk may be failing, but the symptoms you describe may presage an impending disk failure, and you should have backups anyway.
To help determine the possible causes of this behaviour read the following. None of what follows is intended to fix anything, but it will provide the additional information required to advance troubleshooting:
Boot OS X Recovery by holding ⌘ and r (two fingers) while you start your Mac. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red.
When it finishes restart your Mac and test again for operation. If it's still not behaving as you expect it should, please post the results of EtreCheck in accordance with the following instructions:

You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well. -
I had Cs2 and Office for Mac 2004 installed on an OS 10.6.3 system. Worked fine. This weekend my computer did an auto update to OS 10.6.8 and now I cannot save or print from any office or CS2 Apps. What happened. Office also freezes and I have to force quit. Any advise. System or Software problem?

Sorry, I am new to the type of problem-solution process and I do not know how to edit my first statement. My true statement is below:
My pdf freezes when I click on COMMENT. I am trying to get at the tools to edit a pdf. If I use the tools from the toolbar, there is no issue, but once I click COMMENT, the document freezes and I have to open Task Manager to crash it. This started in the last seven days (3.31.15).I answered your questions below, BUT while I was searching for properties, I found the REPAIR ACROBAT INSTALLATION feature, did the repair and (Voila!) the issue was resolved!

I am using Acrobat XI Pro, version 11.0.10.32.
I did not create the file I was working in during the freezes, so I tried a PDF that I created with Adobe and it also freezes when I click on COMMENT. I did discover that the COMMENTS plug-in is loaded. (see image
I have used COMMENT for years without this issue occurring. It started in the last 2 weeks.
I could not find Properties under the file menu, but found a security setting in Preferences under the Edit menu. It did not have a way to allow/disallow COMMENT. -
When I try to access my add-ons, firefox freezes and I have to shut it down
I never used to have any problems but started getting script errors. I have repaired this but now I cannot access my add-ons. Every time I click on it in the Tools menu, Firefox completely freezes and I have to shut it down.
Do you have the Personas Plus 1.6 extension? If you do that one is known to conflict with Google Toolbar and cause the sort of problems that you are having.
Try starting Firefox in [[safe mode]] to see if you can access the add-ons manager. If you can and have Persona Plus, try disabling/uninstalling it whilst in safe mode. If you do not have that add-on, another one may be causing problems, to try to track down which one see [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]].
Another thing you can try is deleting the files that store details on installed add-ons, if one of them is corrupt it can cause problems. To do that first open your profile folder, for how to do that see the [[profiles]] article.
After you have opened the profile folder, close Firefox and delete extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini and compatibility.ini. When you re-start Firefox those files will be re-created. -
As stated I'm having trouble with my computer, I boot it up and within a few minutes it freezes and I have to restart it, I tried updating it to the latest mavericks but it won't finish the installation it's stuck at the end, what can I do to fix this? I need it for homework tonight.

you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it still freeze after a few minutes? -
I have a macbook from early 2008, and when I sign onto safari I get an error message for fast browser search plugin. After that error comes up my computer freezes and I have to force it to shut down. Does anyone know what that means and how I can fix it?
Means you have an incompatible Safari extension installed. Look in the /Home/Library/Safari/Extensions/ folder for the offending plug-in and delete it.

I purchased a new camera with an Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 disk. I have a windows pc with windows 8.1. I have downloaded and removed about 5 times. It says installed correctly but every time i hit the icon the pc freezes and I have to reboot HELP

To get rid of "pop-up ads and other crap on my computer when I am on the internet", click on Safari in the Menu bar, and select Preferences. Next select Extensions. Delete all of them. Restart Safari.
The first step in addressing the black screen is an SMC reset.
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
