After downloading ios 7.0.2, my ipad will not charge completely.  What can I do to fix?

I've the same problem after installed iOS7.0.2, my ipad3 just couldn't charge to 100% when pluging on my desktop, so I have to use wall plug for full charge. I am sick of iOS 7 and wish I didn't upgrade it.

  • My usb port for the ipod will not charge my ipod. Can I get a free one since I have recently recieved this ipod?

My ipod will not charge because of the usb. Will i be able to replace it with a new one for free?

    Not Charge
    - See:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
    - Try another cable
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
If your iPod is defective, not abused and within warranty Apple will replace it with a refurbished one at no cost.

  • My ipod shuffle will not charge...what can i do?, my ipod shuffle will not charge...what can i do?

my ipod shuffle will not charge fully, the light that comes on when i try to charge just flashes red, and the battery lasts for about 20 mins max and then advises battery is low and then dies!

That's often an indication that the dock connector at the bottom of the phone is either dirty or damaged.  Blow compressed air on it and/of gently brush it with a clean, dry toothbtush.  Also be sure the usb cable is able to make a good connection to the connector without being obstructed by your case.  If it's a tight fit, try removing your case.

  • Quick time will not operate in firefox. Can this be fixed?

trying to play audio files in firefox with quick time. They will not work, nor do the quicktime boxes show up.

Please make sure your QuickTime player is correctly installed and Firefox is ''not'' running in Safe Mode.
Then go to about:plugins and check for "QuickTime Plug-in". If you don't see that plugin, it means your QuickTime setup is broken or missing.
In this case we recommend you to uninstall QuickTime, download again latest Quicktime package from Apple website and try to install it again.
If the problem doesn't solve with that, you could check QuickTime Alternative, a free alternative to QuickTime which may solve your problem.
If nothing of above solved your problem, we need further information about the problem (whether a blank / black frame appears or not where QuickTime should load, a error message displays, Firefox doesn't detect QuickTime plugin...).

  • My ipad2 will not charge or turn on, how do i fix it

i used 2 different cables, tried usb to pc and 110 with both, tested outlets and usb ports for power, all good, I am stuck, how do i fix it?
    thanks in advance for responding

Have you tried a soft-reset (i.e. reboot) to see if that gets it to boot up ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear.

  • Touch will not charge on sound dock

Just purchased a new ipod touch.  It will not charge on my Bose Sound dock.

Thanks so much for the reply helifreak. Based on what you said I purchased the ipod touch. I can confirm that is does play on my old bose sound dock. As previously stated it will not charge though. I can't comment on if listening to the ipod on the bose is damaging my ipod but it seems fine so far.

  • My i pod touch was fully discharged and now will not charge

my i pod touch was fully discharged and now will not charge at all. what can i do

Try the not charging topic of:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
Also try another cable, another charging source. Further look at the dock connector in the iPod. Look for abnormalities like foreign material, bend or corroded contacts, broken or cracked plastic.

  • My Iphone 4S will not charge at all. what do I do?

My phone was at 70% and then all of a sudden it was at 1% the next time i checked. ive plugged in my phone to a charger but it will not charge at all. what can i do to get it working?

First, check the cable is ok, do you have any other iGadget to try against?
Next, are you using the wall charger or plugging onto a PC/Mac? Check those too.
If all else fails, try before it drains to reset all settings. If it still doesn't work, the phone will probably die shortly. Maybe then it will reset its power management system and work again, some people have reported as much.
And of course, there's the Apple Store at the end of the road...

  • My Macbook Pro will not charge. I have tried other charges and nothing. Can the MagSafe port go bad? Is that expensive to repair?

My Macbook Pro will not charge. I have tried other charges and nothing. Can the MagSafe port go bad? Is that expensive to repair?

The port can fail. Internal boards can fail. Batteries can fail. All with the result that no charging occurs.
You can try Resetting the System Management Controller and you can try Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters.
But usually you will have to take the mac in to a service place for testing.  It can get expensive, although occasionally it is not.

  • ITouch not connecting to windows or itunes, and will not charge.

Okay, so, I was charging my iTouch one day in my computer, and every time I plug it in, iTunes launches and then starts to automatically sync my iTouch, which I DO NOT WANT. Anyways, I quit the sync from itunes as I always do, but this time, when I tried to quit, nothing happened and itunes froze up. 1 Ctrl+Alt+Dlt later, I tried to end the program, it was being pesky so I had to try and end it a few times. My iTouch finished charging and I hane not thought anything of it since then. The day after that, I was trying to charge my iTouch before work, and I went to get ready while it was charging. I came back to an iTouch that was not charged at all. It does not connect to Windows or iTunes, but still for some reason retains enough battery to display the battery symbol. I have used the iTunes helper to try and guide me through the problem, but the steps I took did not fix the problem and I do not feel like taking my iTouch in to get serviced. So, in overview, my iTouch will not charge, connect to windows or iTunes, all after I ended iTunes from the task manager. My iTunes works just fine, my iTouch is the problem. I dont know what operating system it is running on, and I dont know how to update it, but it is at least 4.3.1.
P.S. I would love to get some speedy help on this. If its any reward, you have many internets up for grabs for answering my question. Over 9000 ^_^

    - Try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Next try placing the iPOd in recovery mode to see if that will make the iPod visible in iTunes so you can restore the iPod.  For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

  • Macbook will not charge port problem

Hello, My MACBOOK 2010 will not charge. I replaced the battery about 9 months ago but I received a "SERVICE BATTERY " warning. I was trying to charge my MAC and sparks came from the port and now it will not charge at all. I really hope I have not ruined my computer. If anyone has a suggestion , I would greatly appreciate any and all help.
    THANKS JENN

Hmm, I did manage to get it charging again, but it still must be in that one specific position. Do you think a new adapter is still the way to go?
Most definitely. Malfunctioning electrical devices can be very dangerous. On the off-chance, you may wish to stop by an Apple Store and see if they are feeling generous.
