have tried all options for increasing memeory parameters. checked space on server. but to no avail. please help.

For memory parameters please check OSS Note 723909 of JVM settings because which also the portal must be restarting.
But the most common reason for portal shutting down regularly is the licensing issue. If the portal shuts down after every 30 min time interval then there is high probability that it is a licensing issue. Then you need to verify whether you have applied the right license or not. Since there are 3 types of license available.

absolutely the same issue with apple logo / red screen and looping on iPhone 6 16gb purchased 3 days ago in Moscow. first i was so happy to have it and now its a brick. also noted the brightness drop outs 1 day before it started. after chatting with apple support:
- we've tried to go for recovery with iTunes. didn't work
- advised on go for warranty replacement by Apple Support chat
- found local Apple Service Provider. gonna go tmrw.

Previous version had save all tabs before shutting down,which helped a lot if u open same windows always,but this is not there in the latest version I have upgraded recently.Request you to guide me if this can be accommodated in the new version.

Firefox now always stores the old session which you can access by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session".
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
# Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
# Go to the General panel
# Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Have you contacted your card issuer to cancel that card and changed your iTunes account password ? Hi there, im also having this problem, i tried running most of the games on my system, and some that are considered "high end" games, are giving me the exact same problem, but other games are running and im able to message fine, i also got some friends to send me messages, and i can recieve messages perfectly, also i noticed moving the actual window around on the screen or just closing down skype also lags. I have 16GB of ram and 4.4Ghz Octa-Core CPU, i checked my load while on the high end games and it there was more than enough hardware usage left like normal for skype to run, and skype wasnt taking any extra up than before. I also checked by bandwidth and i was having no problems with that as skype would lag even on offline games.
I have tried re-installing under a different directory and still the same problem persists, this has only been a problem within the last 24hrs and i haven't installed any other programs that could affect this at the moment.
*UPDATE* I tried downgrading to an older version of skype, 6.3.0.107. Problem Still persists

Portal shutting down upon restart

Hey guys!
A really weird thing is happening to our production portal, it shuts down after 20 minutes of going up and this is happening everytime it is restarted.
It has been working perfectly for nearly two months after installation till now. We cannot understand what might be wrong as I am pretty sure nothing was done prior that might affect it.
Could this be a licensing issue? Or do we have to make some changes to the Server settings?
I really need your help on this.

Are you sure it is not a licensing issue? If it happens exaclty after a 20-30 min time interval then there is high probability that it is a licensing issue.
You can confirm the same by:
Connecting with the Visual Administrator tool go to Server -> Services -> Licensing Adapter - tab Installed Licenses.
Anyhow it could also be due to JVM settings: Please check OSS Note 723909.

EXTERNAL HD WONT SHUT DOWN AFTER SHUTTING DOWN LOGIC ,HELP

When Im done recording in logic and after I close down the session and shut logic down. I then try to shut down my external HD and I get a message saying " LOGIC IS STILL IN USE AND EXTERNAL HD CAN NOT BE SHUT DOWN, TRY QUITTING APPLICATIONS AND THEN SHUT DOWN" Logic is already shut down and there are no other applications running and it wont let me shut down my external HD. I tried to switch HD's and it still wont shut down after I close all applications. PLEASE HELP....

When you say shut down, you mean "eject" right?
Will it, incidently, eject during a session when you haven't used Logic at all?
One thing you should make sure of with your external HD is that it is formatted correctly - it needs to "un" journalled... may not be the problem, but worth checking.
What kind of external HD is it?

ITunes causing hang on shut down. Help!

iTunes 11 has been causing my Macbook Pro 15.4" running Lion to hang at shutdown. I would open up iTunes and it would not respond so I would have to force quit it. Then I proceed to shut my mac down (I always quit all running applications and uncheck the 'reopen windows'), where it continues to hang with that grey spinning wheel. I've left it for over 10 minutes and it still hangs, so I'd have to do a hard shut down. This doesn't happen all the time, but it's becoming quite often now. Please help!

If you forced quit iTunes before shut down then that is not what is causing you the problem. Reboot to the Lion Recovery Disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Utility.

was that Norton Internet Security 2006? if so, right-click on the yellow ticky-Norton thing down in your task bar, and select "Norton Protection Center". click the LiveUpdate button. install everything it says is available at LiveUpdate. restart the PC if it asks you to.
open Norton Protection Center again. click on "Norton AntiVirus". click on "Scans". click on "Run full system scan".
once that's finished, and you've dealt to everything that shows up, do a spyware scan. if you don't have an antispyware program, download and install the free trial version of Ewido, and scan your PC with that.

once that's finished, and you've dealt to anything that shows up, go to the Symantec website (they make your Norton), and run one of their online virus scans. they take an eternity, so you may want to do that overnight:

to do a disk cleanup, go "start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk cleanup"
to run chkdsk (that's a disk checking/repair utility in Windows), close all active programs, go into My Computer, right-click on your hard drive, select "properties", click on the "tools" tab, and click the "check now" button.
to do a disk defrag, go "start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk defragmenter"

My macbook air shut down because of battery level I'm guessing. now the keyboard is still lit up and the charger appears green, yet it won't turn on at all. Help!

Try holding the power key down for 10 seconds and then rebooting.
If that does not work try and SMC Reset.
