My Pound key is a hash tag

On my keyboard my NO.3 key shows a pound sign above it............when I 'shift+3' I get a hash sign.
How do I change this to a pound sign as showing on the key?
thanks.

    Hold on, found it - Alt 3 - thanks to old messages.

    hello, for the old sync system in firefox 28 and below you also had to sign up with a mail address and password originally - to connect firefox to the old account you would need to have all those three pieces (mail, password & recovery key) available to you unfortunately...

  • Key Focus when Adding Tags

    When I click the "Add Tag" button at the bottom of a post, the text entry field does not automatically receive key focus, meaning I must click on the field before I begin to type or CTRL+V a tag from the clipboard. I would like to see this text entry box automatically receive keyboard focus after clicking "Add Tag".

    I have a list of values in a List box.when the user selects a praticular value.,i need to show the java script localized alert message for the selected value.
    how can i pass the javascript variable to i18n tag.
    For ex:
    function test(){
    var selectedvalue='name';
    var localizedstring='<i18n:message key="+selectedvalue+"/>';--This is not working
    alert('<i18n:message key="+selectedvalue+"/>');

  • I've lost the shift 3 pound sign, only get hash, any ideas?

    Hello - I've lost the shift 3 pound sign and only get the hash - can't seem to change it.
    Any ideas?

    If this happens, you can set the keyboard back to UK by selecting it from the menu bar.
    Simply click the flag icon which you will see near the wireless + bluetooth icon, then change it from the US flag to the UK flag & you keyboard should be back to normal.
    If you cannot find the UK flag which indicates the option to set the keyboard to UK layout, you should be able to add the UK keyboard layout by clicking the "+" symbol & selecting it.

  • Using my objects as keys in a hash map

    I need the following type of code to work (ClDate is my own class):
                var testDic:Dictionary = new Dictionary();
                var key1:ClDate = new ClDate(10000);
                var key2:ClDate = new ClDate(20000);
                var key3:ClDate = new ClDate(30000);
                var key4:ClDate = new ClDate(40000);
                testDic[key1] = 1;
                testDic[key2] = 2;
                testDic[key3] = 3;
                testDic[key4] = 4;
                var key:ClDate = new ClDate(20000);
                var retNum:Number = testDic[key];
    The current Dictionary or Array does not work since they do not enable passing a comparison function that will enable comparing my own objects. Is there any existing implementation that works?
    -Sam.

    Object (when acting as a map) uses toString() as a poor man's hashcode implementation, so you can get more-or-less the behavior you want by implementing the toString() method in your CIDate class and then storing the instances in an Object (rather than a Dictionary).
    E.g., say your CIDate looks like this:
              public class CIDate {
                public var num:Number
                public function CIDate(num:Number) { this.num = num }
                public function toString():String { return num.toString(); }
    You can use toString() as a comparison operator by keeping things in an Object instead of a Dictionary:
                var testDic:Object = {};
                var key1:ClDate = new ClDate(10000);
                var key2:ClDate = new ClDate(20000);
                var key3:ClDate = new ClDate(30000);
                var key4:ClDate = new ClDate(40000);
                testDic[key1] = 1;
                testDic[key2] = 2;
                testDic[key3] = 3;
                testDic[key4] = 4;
                var key:ClDate = new ClDate(20000);
                var retNum:Number = testDic[key];
    Then retNum should be '2', as expected. This is sort of a hack, but it might work for what you're doing.

  • MicroApp Menu asterisk and pound keys Question

    Hello everyone,
    As a CVP newbie, I need some help.
    How to include * and # keys in Menu MicroApp for Configuration Param setting in VRU Scripts.
    I want these keys to be e.g. "To return to previous menu, press # key, to listen previous message again press * key"
    What do I do, beside entering parameters range 0-9 for options, how to set # and * to be valid options in menu Micro app?
    Thank you
    V

    Hi,
    you can achieve this by using ECC variable,, create one ECC variable called user.loopcount
    Say for example if caller press * to repeat menu  In CED node case 1: *  if caller entered digits matches * then insert the user.loopcount to 0 in set variable and use if condition to check the loop count, please find the below sample for you understanding

  • Emailing resource item workflow - seems to return the ID, then a hash tag, then the name

    Hi All,
      I am currently playing with Sharepoint Designer 2010 and have an issue. I am trying to return the name of a resource selected via a workflow email but it doesn't look quite right:
    15;#vehiclename
    Does anyone know how I can drop the 15 and the hashtag. I assume the 15 is the ID?
    Thanks.

    Hi nm00,
    I could understand your problem now. The resources column in Group calendar is a especial column. It is a lookup column with multiple selections enabled. But it like other lookup
    column which allow us to select return type.
    2 solutions I can find.
    1. We can use JavaScript to copy and save the sleeted values to another text column from NewForm page and EditForm page. Then we can send email with the text column instead.
    2. Create a Visual Studio workflow to send email. Then we can use custom code to remove id;# from the string.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Key stroke for Face Tagging workflow?

    I don't know if I've missed the info or if this isn't a feature:
    When browsing through new photos one at a time to add missing faces or correct and confirm iPhoto's guesses, is there a keystroke that would allow me to answer the "Is this so-and-so?" question?
    I could breeze through a lot faster if I didn't have to mouse up to various positions on the screen in order to click the "check" or the "X."
    Seems simple or obvious, but maybe it's a feature request instead? If so, how do I do that?
    Thanks,
    Rob

    I'd suggest posting your question in the iPhoto forum here, as that's where the true experts hang out.  Here's a link for you:

  • Hash key - anyone?

    Hi
    This may seem daft but I can't find a hash key anywhere on my Macbook - not even in special characters. As these are often used in passwords it would be useful to have it.
    Can anyone help please?
    AJ

    Ok, I'm guessing # is what you mean by hash key?
    If so, it's referred to as the number or pound key on a us keyboard and is shift-3. But, since that is likely £ for you, try opt-3 as that gives us £ on a US keyboard.
    You can enable the keyboard viewer by opening Language and Text System Preferences, Input Sources, and check the Keyboard & Character Viewer. Then, check the show input menu in menu bar. Select Keyboard viewer from the menu. Now, hold down different combinations of modifier keys and the keyboard viewer will show what keys produce various characters.

  • NB100 - wrong keyboard key language

    Hi,
    I have bought a NB100 series.
    The keyboard does not function properly. Possibly because of language setting during installation.
    The @ key prints a double quote (")
    The # key prints a pound symbol.
    Need help to rectify this.
    I have tried to change the language setting to United States (which was UK) from the control panel, but that did not work.
    OS: XP

    I have a similar problem. I bought a notebook NB200-10G and at least six of the key or key combinations produce characters not shown on the key, eg:-
    Press hash button (#) and get \ should be #
    Press Shift + ~ and get | should be ~
    Press Shift + 2 and get @ should be ??
    Press Shift + 3 and get # should be £
    Press Shift + @ and get ?? should be @
    Press Shift + ??L?? on its side (bottom row) and get |
    Can you please advise what I need to do to get the correct characters on the keys.
    The language is set as English(US)
    The model is PLL25E-00700GEN

  • Hashing With Double Linked Chaining

    sigh I need to be enlightened in this field. I googled hashing/hash tables and read many sites on the subject... I still dont grasp them that well.
    Anyone able to help me out with hashing?
    Also, is double linked chaining the same as a double linked list?

    Okay, well here's the assignment word for word...
    Project V. Hashing With Double Linked Chaining
    Due Date is on/before noon on December 3, 2004
    Use the List ADT in the CODE folder to implement all project components.
    1. Include algorithm documentation in the head of each method.
    2. Implement an algorithm as a method or set of methods to load the data in a hash table with double linked chaining for data that map onto the same table cell. Load the information from a hard disk file called INFO.DAT into the table H. The data stored as one number per record in INFO.DAT are 32, 18, 20, 10, 226, 172, 50, 456, 691, 30, 100, 80, 340, 234, 349, 986, 234, 198, 275, 384.
    3. Implement an algorithm as methods to search for keys from the hard disk file INFOKEY.DAT in table H. The data stored as one number per record in INFOKEY.DAT are 2, 691, 234, 1000, 10.
    Post all the output in a GUI dialog box as sentences with one key per line. Implement methods to display error messages for possible errors.
    4. Implement an algorithm as methods to delete a key K from H. Mark the key with a delete tag and report the key deleted.
    My professor cannot teach material at all, he has poor communication skills. So all the previous assignments I just looked online and found help from people that have lots of experience in this.
    I'm sure I can code the assignment and complete it if I only knew what it was asking. Can anyone make anything of this?

  • Atilde (~) and hash (#) are broken

    I have a 2009 Macbook Pro 13-inch, on which I recently installed Windows 7. I have discovered however that my atilde key and my hash key are both set to the incorrect symbol. On all English keyboards, the atilde key outputs as § or ± with shift held down, while the hash key has been replaced by the pound symbol (£). I am at a loss as to why this would be the case or as to how to fix it. I have changed my keyboard to US International and several other english keyboards, but it doesn't change anything. When changing to a different language (such as Chinese) I can type the normal atilde and hash, but this has obvious limitations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Have you tried changing the keyboard setting inside Windows to one that has (Mac) after the name?
