My Power Button is Jammed

Last night I turned off my iPod and this morning when I went to turn it on again it didn't work the power button is jammed down. I don't know why this happened or what to do; I'd like to go to the Apple Store but I'm worried about my device being under warrenty, I'm not sure how long the warrenty is and how to prove it's under warrenty. I recieved the device as a Gift, so I don't have a reciept.

Can I get a free replacement iPhone 4S if my Power button is jammed?

I've had my iPhone 4S since February 2012 so obviously my one year warranty that came with my phone is done. I just wanted to know that if I take in my iPhone to an apple store if they'll replace it with no charge even though my warranty is done. You will have to physically take the iPhone to an Apple store in the US,
if that is where it was purchased. If you are not going to be in the US, send
it to a friend or relative there to take into Apple for you, and then that person
can ship it back to you - shipping costs and insurance are your responsibility.
Apple does not accept international shipments for replacement nor will Apple
ship a replacement out of the country where replacement is made. Only your
iPhone - if determined to be defective - will be replaced, and your iPhone is all
you need to take to Apple.
iPhone warranty is valid only in country of original purchase - it has always been
this way for iPhones. The replacement policy is not messed up - it is working as
designed. Apple India would not have the correct handset to replace the one you
purchased in the US.

Lock/power button jammed

this is my third iphone 4 since november 2011, all hardware problems, i didnt drop or anything, first was the power button was jammed, got a new one, then there was so sound, so i got this one for about 3 months and now the power button is jammed again, this is beginning to become a pain, why are these refurbished iphones so ******? should i bring it in to apple, will they replace it for free? and how do i know this wont happen again and again

It depends on whether or not it's determined to be physical damage caused by a drop etc. If the phone is under warranty and it's determined not to be from misuse or physical damage, they should swap it out for you. If it's physical damage and the store is tough about their terms, it may cost you $199. Hopefully they'll be able to swap it from the LED flash issue, since that seems to be a hardware defect.

My iPod nano's power button is jammed! I really like the iPod but if its too expensive to get it repaired I'm ditching the idea! Its not under warranty! My iPod nano 1g was replaced with this one by apple! My 1g worked fine and this broke down quickly .. I started using it only a few days back!

It's $65, since Apple gives 8GB models for those using the iPod nano 1st generation replacement program.

Ipad 1 power button not working

I dropped some water on my ipad 1 and it was working fine, except that hte power button stopped working. I let it sit there, and dry off, but to no avail. Then I drained the battery but every 30 seconds the symbol where it shows the dead batter blinking shows up without me even pressing anything. So i think that the power button is jammed, but it looks normal.

Take it into your local Apple Retail Store and have a Genius fix it for you. I recommend scheduling an appointment to the Genius bar so you can avoid wait times. Search your local Apple Store in the search bar on the Apple website, and schedule an appointment.

How to unjam sleep/power button? iPod touch 4th generation

A few days ago, I was using my ipod touch 4th generation. It working fine. A minute later, I went to use it again, & for some reason my sleep/power button was jammed. I have to use immense pressure to make it go to sleep. Is there a way I could get it unjammed without opening my iPod? I don't want to risk it breaking it any further. I would take it to the Apple Store, but I don't have warranty on it anymore since I got it a little over a year ago when it first released. My screen is also cracked from last December. Will the Apple Store still fix the sleep/power button and maybe my screen without warranty? & how much will be? Individual or both? Much appreciated!

IPhone 4s stuck in lock screen with broken power button

Okay so my power button was jammed 9-10 months ago for unexplained reasons and I've been using the assistive touch since then. My phone will be two in early September so it's fairly old.
My phone is in the lock screen and all I can do is use the assistive touch to make a phone call. I can even hang up but I can't slide to power off or open a text. Is there any way I can fix this?
My phone was just updated to iOS 7.1.2 a few hours ago if that makes any difference in what's wrong.

How about getting the phone's switch repaired?
