Three days ago I was in the car coming home from camp and my power button began to not work well. I would have to press it a lot harder then i usually would. So i just stopped using it in general, to see if it would start working again. I tried to use it today and it had stopped working completely, I dont know what to do!! I'd like it to work:/

The send button won't be active until you address it and type something in the body of the email. Assuming you did that and it still isn't working, try resetting the phone as Ocean20 suggested: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo, release and wait for it to restart. Meaning that you cannot restart or reset the phone? If you haven't tried already, try both options.
Otherwise, you can do a backup & restore, or even a restore as new (only after a successful backup).
If the issue persists, then look at a replacement. Either it will be a hardware defect (free if within warranty), or physical damage ($49 with AppleCare Plus, $149 without it.)

You can try Restoring it in iTunes but I believe you will end up needing to have it serviced.

After the update to iOS 8 the power button of my iPhone (iPhone 5 16gb) starts to fail and before the update it was working properly.
I'm a certified iOS developer and this same situation occurred when i tried to install the iOS 8 beta 2 on the same iPhone i mentioned above, but i had to reinstall the iOS 7.1 just a few days later and the button starts to work normally again.
Any thoughts about this?

Multiple problems: Touch Screen and Power Button on my Iphone 4S.

My power button on my iphone will click but it doesn't recieve any response from my phone. Also, my screen isn't working at all. The only button that works is the home button. The phone is only a couple of weeks old. I recieved it in the mail from apple and it has run smoothly up until now. It is a very random occurence and I would like to have it resolved quickly. Any suggestions?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Make an appointment at an Apple store to have the phone checked out. Or call Apple Support.

My iphone wont work - when I charge it I get the apple sign but it has computer language above it. Its not recongised in itunes so I cannot reinstall the software.

Probably a hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple store and bring it in to be evaluated.

I dropped my IPhone 6 plus in water and now the power button does not want to work

So i had the Iphone 6 Plus in my hand when it feel into a big puddle and it was in there for more than a minute so i come home and i find out that the power button (on the right hand side button) doesn't want to work like its on and im on the home page and then i press the button and nope nothing and the volume button somewhat works and sometimes the power button works so i turn it off and i put it in the rice next thing you know the phone turns on again without me touching it or anything. You can try leaving it in that bag of rice for 5-7 days to see if it will dry, however if it will not stay turned off, I would say that something is shorted out. You will need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service provider and be ready to pay for an out of warranty replacement. If you purchased Apple Care Plus there is only a deductible, but without it, you will have to pay the price of an out of warranty phone. User damage is not covered under warranty.
