The best maintained PowerPC browser at the moment is TenFourFox:

It is a Mac port of a newer version of FF thatn any PowerPC Mac can support natively. It runs, looks and feel like FF.

Software problem? Installed graphics card does not meet minimum requirements
Ok - I seem to have just met the same problem that others have experienced. MB Pro, less than 3 years old, graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB. I have been using Aperture up until about 1/2 hour ago with no problem. Just now trying to sync my iPad, and Aperture (which launches automatically) responds with "installed graphics card does not meet minimum requirements". All software is fully up to date, running latest versions of all Apple software. What is going on please? I have restarted several times, tried Command/Option/P/R on restarting, but nothing seems to make it work.
You might try to reboot again, this time with the Shift-key hold down to boot into safe mode. This will clear some caches and reset the graphics card. Aperture will not run in safe mode. You will have to reboot a second time.
Do you use an external Monitor? Then disconnect it, before rebooting.

P.S: Do you use a blue tooth keyboard? If you turn it on while booting, you may accidentally boot into Safe mode without noticing it, and then Aperture will give exactly the above error message. -
System does not meet minimum requirements - Apeture Checker indicates ok
When loading Apeture I got the message that my system does not meet the minimum configuration. Running the Apeture Checker I get the message that my system is fine.
What gives, what do I do?
I have tried this on my G5, 1.8 GHz, 2.5 GB Ram, 20" Apple display.
Larry in SCthrow away the prefs files for both aperture and the checker and try again. that may help.

while updating my ipad to new software through itunes it got stuck and does not work anymore - it just displays the screen with symbols of itunes and the cable to connect to it - help - what should i do?
Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

I did a system restore on my computer. When I had it up and running again, I downloaded the latest version of itunes. Now I can't sync apps to my sons ipod. What can I do to fix this?
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing and follow the instructions. -
My Mac does not recognize that I have downloaded the newest version
I continue to get the error message that I cannot open a pages file until I download the newest version. I have downloaded the version. The apple store recognizes that I have downloaded the version and yet, pages will not open the files.
What next?You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

after almost 1 years successfully applying WIDI on my T540P, now suddenly there is no sound.
I use W8.1-64Bit
After much trial and error I know now that it comes from 4600 driver on the Intel HD Graphics.
If I update to the latest intel version 10.18.10.3652 on the Intel side, then it works. Picture and sound will be fine, but unfortunately I can no longer adjust the brightness of the notebook
When I try to update to the Lenovo version 10.18.10.3496, then I get the error message that my system "does not meet the minimum requirements" and the update will be canceled.
Does Lenovo offers a wrong driver for the T540p?
Does anyone have any advice for me?Maybe try forcing the install of the 3496 driver using Device Manager and Have Disk? It usually gets around that (artificial) error for Intel graphics drivers.

Hi...I am new to this site and it looks like I posted the question in the subject box...my bad.
I have an Iphone 3G which is used as an ipod (phone service plans are too expensive).
I had some apps on it, Facebook being one of them. The device was goins soooo slow (not even 2G of the available 6 being used) so I did as instructed and backed it up, restored it and then put the info back into it. When I tried to download the Facebook app...it said that I had a 4.2.1 system and needed a 4.3 something system? Can anyone provide any help on this or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you in advanceSorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch. -

My IPod Touch has a small crack at the top of the screen and now the slider will not work to unlock it. Is the cracked screen the problem?
To get pass the passcode lockscreen, recovery mode and restoring should help: iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
If the issue continues after updating and restoring your device, refer to this document. -
What version of iWorks 09 in PAGES should I be running with Mtn Lion? I originally installed iWorks from a disk back in 2009 and thought I was keeping up with updates. Curerntly I have version 4.2 (1008) Thanks for your help.
