I can't think of a way to show them in tabs, but Mail lets you open as many Mail list windows as you like. Set the Mail window to show just the inbox for Account A, then choose File/New Viewer Window and set that window to show just the Account B inbox. Arrange the windows next to each other.
I open multiple viewer windows all the time when dragging messages from inboxes to various folders, it saves a lot of time.

In Mail, start a new message, or the options won't be available. Use menu Edit/Substitutions/Show Substitutions and enable Text Replacement.
You may also need to select Edit/Substitutions/Text Replacement

iTunes and the iTunes Store won't have anything to do with your photos. Those would be stored only on your laptop unless you made a backup of some sort. If you didn't, and the hard drive in your laptop has failed, then your photos are gone unless you wish to pay a disk recovery service a lot of money to try and get them back.
As to your music, if you purchased it from the iTunes Store you can probably re-download it. Go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time. Shouldn't the IP address be on the box you bought the machine in? If you have the box, take it to the police as evidence that it's your machine. If I were you, I would set the firmware password when you get it back, but make sure you have the password written down in a safe place. If you forget it, there's only two ways to reset it. Either pay $400+ for the tool that can do it, or pay almost nothing for Apple to do it, I think it depends on where you live. The firmware password is this encrypted password and it can't be hacked either. The password prevents anyone from booting the machine into recovery mode, thus preventing them from restoring the computer to factory settings or performing any other functions. It's not stored in the hard drive so replacing that will be of no use either.

If you have an iCloud account and Find My Device was enabled on the iPad, you could try to find it using the iCloud.com web site. Otherwise there is no way to find it.
You need to change all your online passwords immediately; notify the airport at which it went missing from your luggage (assuming it was at an airport); notify the police; notify your insurance company so you can get reimbursed and buy a new one; move on.
