My previously bought TV Shows now shows that I have to pay for them again.

I bought several seasons of "The Office" and everything is available except for most episodes from 7 and 8. It just shows the monetary value and that I must pay for these.
How do I recover these episodes? I have gone through the hide and unhide route.

On your computer's iTunes, do they show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the store homepage for redownloading ? Or go into Preferences and on the Store tab tick the 'show iTunes in the cloud purchases' and see if they then show in the TV shows part of your library with a cloud icon against them for redownloading.
If you've changed countries since buying them then they won't show for redownloading.
And if not already doing so you should be keeping and maintaining your own backup copy of all of your downloads, any item (app, music album, tv show) could be removed by the content providers at any time, if they are removed you won't be able to redownload them

i bought some books about automotive engines by TSD training. A total of 3 books.
Earlier i was browsing the iBooks App Store and noticed these books were now part of a 14 course mechanics collection of books.
I wanted to buy the remaining 11 courses (iBooks) in this collection thinking I could just "complete my album" per say as you can when purchasing a collection of music on a given album but it seems I do not have this option. Will I have to pay for these 3 books again if I buy the collection? is there a way around this? Can I choose only the remaining books I need? Any help is appreciated. i bought some ringtones on my iPhone, later on i sync my iphone to my old computer now i have a new mac pro desktop and i only have 2 ringtones on my phone but not the rest of them how can i get them back without having to pay for them again?
If you bought them on your iPad then you will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library and you can then sync them to your iPhone - ringtones are a one-time only download, so you won't be able to redownload them directly on your phone.

I had to reset my phone and I only have one of my ringtones I had 4.. Why'd it delete 3 and not the last one and now I can't get em back without paying for them again!!! What the **** is up with that??
Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Did you buy it directly on your iPad? Did you ever transfer the app to the iTunes content library on your computer? If so, sync it back onto your iPad. If not, then I encourage you to do so regularly for occasions just such as this.
Does the previous purchase of the app appear in your iTunes Purchase History? Usually you just think that you are going to be charged but at the last step the App store sees that you previously bough the app and informs you that it will be free.
Also, is this the same version that you previously bought? Or is this the next major paid version? -
i preordered the weeknds new album , and it came out tonight. next to the songs , it just says "purchased" . it isn't downloading or anything , does this mean i have to pay for it again?
Does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone for downloading ? Or on your computer's iTunes does it download via the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option so that you can sync it to your phone ?

I recently had my computer stolen and not my purchases from I tunes store were backed up. I've been told there is a way that I can re-download my missing tracks from the store without having to pay for them again. Is this true, if so, how do go about it.

I got the new update for my macbook air and know it is saying that i have to pay for pages, numbers, and keynote and it said that it was free before i did the update.Can somebody please help... I need pages for a school report.
If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them. -

Hi, I used to delete the games or apps after finishing it that I've bought from the app store I did that for years now and nothing wrong happened before and sometimes I get the desire to re download it again for free "while the cloud mark was on it as the price" and enjoy whatever I paid for BUT now I'm not able to do that, I suddenly found that I have to pay again to download the app, I'm seriously depressed and sad from that!!! OH MY GOD, the problem has been solved by itself thanks apple, you are the best Company ever, all my purchased apps appeared as it should probably the servers were in some maintenance but it tooks a lot of time this time, I really don't know how it solved but the cloud mark appeared again on the apps and I can re download them, Thanks APPLE I love so you much and thanks dude for answering and caring about your customers, Apple POWAA!!

I have uninstalled Garageband due to problems. Now it seems I have to pay for it.
I've had some problems with Garageband when I tried to download extra content. I called Apple Support about a week ago and he said that one solution might be to uninstall Garageband and then reinstall in from Mac App Store.
I've now unnstalled Garageband. To download and install it again it seems I now have to pay for it. I've had my iMac since the end of December last year and it came preinstalled with Garageband. Apple Support is closed today because it's Sunday.
It's not a huge amount but I wonder if this is right?Done this? Alerts may occur when accepting bundled applications from the Mac App Store - Apple Support (Steps 1 - 4 in particular.)
