My printer hooked itself up to someone else computer now I can wireless scan things to mine

My friend came over the other day and connected herself to my wireless internet. She has and HP I have a Mac. Since then any times she tries to print something I get it and anytime I try to scan something it goes to her email. I want to have it back to mine how do I do this. Please help.

I see that there your printer has an interesting setup, it will print your friends documents and when you scan, she gets them in her Email. What is the model of printer you are using?
It sounds like some of the ePrint features got setup with your friends information. Regarding the prints that are received on your printer, it would seem that she is using an ePrint driver. Are you and your friend using the same network to connect each computer to and the printer?

Make a backup of your stuff (from the phone. apps/photos/music/blabla). Update your phone. The phone will restore the backup automatically.

HT1386 I have an app called ipieta which was originally downloaded onto an ipod. I gave the ipod to someone else, but now that I've had the iphone I can not get the audio even though it is downloaded into itunes music like it said to do. It won't work.

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.

I guess you confuse terminology. It seems to me that you encrypted PDF with a certificate encryption, not signed it. Is this correct? I am not quite sure what you mean by "run a PDF". It seems to me that you mean "open PDF". Is this correct? If my assumptions are correct, then continue reading.
You can open a pdf encrypted with certificate encryption onlt on a computer that has a Digital ID (with private key) that corresponds to one of the certificates (with public key only), included in the recipients section of the encryption block. The whole purpose of the certificate encryption is to limit who may open the document. At the encryption step the document's author selects the list of possible recipients by providing certificates with their public keys. Only the recipient who has a Digital ID installed on the system with the private key that corresponds to one of the certificates with the public key included in the recipients section of the encryption block may open this PDF.
If you encrypt PDF with the certificate encryption you need to do two things. First, you need to collect from your possible recipients tehir certificates with the public key (public key is not secret, only private key is). Second, in Acrobat UI when you get to "Select recipients" step, you browse to the locations where you stored possible recipients public-key certificates (the "Browse" button) and select those who you want to be able to open this PDF. If some certificates are stored on-line or in common storage directories (like LDAP) you can search for them using the "Search" button.
You may want to learn more about encryption by reading Acrobat documentation, including books (like "Acrobat in classroom") about Acrobat..

If you are going to change your AppleID login you will need to log out and back in on all your devices. Turn off 'Find My iPhone/iMac/iPod' first or you will find yourself unable to sign out and be stuck.

Verizon gave my landline phone number to someone else and now can't fix the problem FOR ME

I have a landline that is used for emergencies only in case my 7 year old son needs to be transported to the hospital for his seizures. I tried using the phone about 3 weeks ago during some bad weather only to find out there was no dial tone. Luckily, my cell phone woked. I contacted Verizon who sent out a technician who found out that the problem "was on their end." His work order showed someone else's name and address and he went to their house first before coming to mine. They told him they didn't have a problem so he came to my address.
I had called my "old" number from my cell phone to see if it would ring and ended up speaking to the husband of the lady who had "my" phone number. The tech asked them if they were willing to give up "my" number and they agreed to do so. The tech said he would resolve this issue for me because he'd never seen anything like it before. Maybe he and his supervisor should visit this forum and see how other customers have had the same issue. I received two calls yesterday from a Verizon customer support rep who tried to restore my service. She had to transfer me over to security or some department who treated me very rudely and told me to send a copy of my driver license or a copy of a bill to Verizon because they couldn't approve her order request. She had remained on the line with me. By this point, I'm getting **bleep** because this is the 2nd time I've been transferred to that verification department and I wanted to ask "Why don't I just send a copy of "my" bill showing my name and phone number as verification? Would that suffice?" The cust supp rep tried to explain to her what was going on but I am still without service. I had already verified my info last year when service was established and don't feel the need to provide this info again. It's Verizon's mess and they should fix it.
I am penning my letter to the corporate headquarters today. I even chatted online with another cust serv rep who was snarky with me until I typed that the chat session would be included with the letter to corporate. Then she tried to be helpful. What concerns me is even if my number is established, what if it happens again during an emergency? What about a refund that's owed me for paying for a line that was last used in June 2014 up until the present time? I want my money back. I have online banking records showing my payments. I am thoroughly disappointed in Verizon. How dare they take my money, turn off my phone, and now can't even restore it. After I contact their corporate office, if the issue isnt resolved, I am filing a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office as well as the BBB. I suggest that everyone else who will encounter this problem file a complaint too.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Plays fine on my computer. (I have a Mac Pro, use OS 10.6.8. Use QT ver. 7.6.6.)
I send it to someone else, he plays it on his Mac, and says the audio stops completely at the 15 minute mark.
Any ideas?????

Firefox updated itself to 3.6.9 and now I can't print anything from an open page, because HP Smart Web Printing doesn't work with this version. What's a replacement extension?

I have the exact same problem. I updated to 3.6.12 and encountered the "blank page" printing problem. I ended up re installing Firefox 3.0.19. Printing works great. Also Firefox 3.5.15 gave the same blank page printing problem. I also installed "Better privacy" and " Ghostery"at the time of updates. These programs do not run under the 3.0.19 version. Not sure if if they are related to the problem. Good luck and hope a solution to the problem comes about.

Hello, hp only has drivers for 10.6 & up, about the only thing you can do is see if an earlier OfficeJet driver works.

Apple can't find it for you. You have to go to icloud.com on a computer and sign into the iCloud account that was used on the phone, then see if you can track it as described here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0f2442. If you don't know the password for your iCloud account you won't be able to sign in to track it.
If it was stolen, contact the police and your carrier, and change your passwords.

I'm out of town and my ipod battery is dead. Can I use my nephew's computer, which equipped for a nano, to just charge my ipod. I don't want any of his songs and I surely don't want to erase.

Just leave it showing the "Do not Disconnect" warning! As long as it is showing you that message, it is charging, but not synchronizing with your nephew's computer.
One othe trick: you can start up the computer and not even log in to keep your data safe. Then plug in the iPod and it should display this same message.
I've done this in school classes several times and have had no problems.

TS3367 FT won't ring when calling someone else. I also can't send a FT message.

When I try calling another FT user, I don't hear it ring (yes the sound is on) and the I get a message saying "Connectio lost". It worked just fine last night. I've verified that FT is activated and that "push" is on. And I've restarted numerous times and turned the wireless on/off. Any suggestions?
