In Safari, my iMac sometimes zooms way too much and will not zoom back. I have a wireless mouse set to zoom in and out on double tap, but the excessive zooms happen with no taps. A page zooms in so less than 1/4 of the page is visible and nothing I do will zoom back out, command minus doesn't do it, double tap on mouse does not zoom out, and the window will not scroll to show any of the rest of the page. reloading the page does not help. Loading a different page gives me a normal view again.
If it were a tweaked setting, it should happen less randomly. And there should be no settings that could override the zoom setting in unversal Access and the Mouse zoom preferences.
In addition, this only happens in Safari 6, and seems to happen more fredquently on some websites and not on others. That suggests some sort of conflict in the site code with Safari and Apple wireless mouse code. It does not happen in Mail, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other software as far as I can tell. -

Connect to car, IPOD Classic pauses and will not play
Hello to all,
First of all I am not very good at computer stuff. I used my IPOD Classic for about three months with a car kit and all was fine. All of a sudden it stopped playing. I figured out that the IPOD pauses when it is connected to the wire from the car. I have tried connecting it with the car off, on, radio off, on all with the same result, as soon as the IPOD detects the wire it pauses. My radio will only play the IPOD not control it. Any ideas?? This is driving me mad. I don't understand why it worked for months and then suddenly stopped. Thanks in advance for any help.
MattI'm having the same problem. I updated my ipod in itunes and now my car's usb deck will not recognize the ipod. It had been working for years without a problem. I emailed kenwood and they said apple pushed out an update that is causing compatibility issues with car decks. They suggested a "soft reset" which did nothing. Kenwood told me to contact Apple and Apple wants me to pay for support. Guess I'll surf around this forum till I find a way to revert back to an older version of the ipod software.

I am writng a paper and I have spelled someones name the correct way but pages keeps auto correcting it to something else. I have retyped the name over and over again but pages keeps changing it back to the word it thinks it is suppost to be. I have made sure the spelling features are all turned off. My shockwave plugin keeps saying it crashed. I am trying to update or download the newest but Norton is making me agree to their service in order for the download to complete and I have been warned about Norton. Please help.

Since I downloaded 7.0.4 onto my iPad 4th gen. the wifi has been unstable.
The wifi will not consistently connect as a "guest" at work and will NOT maintain
the password for my wifi at home. Prior to the update to 7.0.4 this iPad never
had any wifi issues! I have tried all of the tactics of resetting wifi, re-downloaded the entire
7.0.4 and with the same wifi issues? At this point my iPad is useless to me without wifi!!!Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. I do not want to ask any other way for me to use to use my monitor. I monitor LG FLATRON E2041 brand .. PLEASE Helpp ME

Like the title says...
I can't upload or import videos from my iphoto library, into final cut pro x. When i click, IMPORT MEDIA in FCP, It lists 'iPhoto Library' as GRAY, and will not let me select it. I need the videos out of there. I have tried every way I can think of.
I have also tried from the iphoto side, to export the videos or share them to final cut. I have had no luck.
I have tried to drag and drop indidual video clips from iphoto to fcp, and the programs simply do not respond to each other
I can see in the OLDER version of final cut pro x, where it has IMPORT FILES as an option, it was possible. I see this on forums and youtube videos of the older versions.
However, the newer version that i have, does not have IMPORT 'FILES' as an option, it is simply all lumped together as IMPORT 'MEDIA'

Is there anything i can do in fcp to make this footage more reliable or safer or more stable as i pull remotely from iphoto?
