My printer not showing in printer list.

My Printer is not in the printer list when trying to print a pdf file from Adobe reader. The printer works OK from other apps.

You need an AirPrint compatible printer to be able to print directly from iOS devices, but unfortunately, your Canon ip2000 is not on the list of compatible devices. See this Apple support document for more details:

A possible workaround that might work is to try an App like Print Central on the iPad and iPhone. This will allow the iOS devices to print to most printers. But, there is no way to guarantee that it will work with your printer.

Adding shared printers? Network printer not showing up in list

I have a network printer not showing up in the Bonjour Printer Wizard. There is not a place to add a printer to this list. Does my network printer need to be installed under the Windows side as well, or can I share it using Bonjour? I'm confused as to how the shared printer program works. Also, my Adobe "print to pdf" option shows up as a printer, but how do I change the file destination location? It doesn't give me an option to change the "saved to" location. I am using these printers through Parallels in AutoCad, and that should be the only reason I will need to share printers. But I am in AutoCad a good deal of time, so I need to know how to quickly print my drawings.

You don't say if you installed after downloading the Printer you deleted, but I suspect it's one not showing, and that you need to reinstall.

New printer not showing on printer dropdown selection list

Hi.
I had a canon MP600 printer that I removed and replaced with Canon MG5350. It prints fine for word/excel but for adobe pdf the new printer does not appear in the select printer list, but the old one still does. I can't print any pdf file and don't have the old printer.
How can I get the new printer to appear in the list?

OS is windows 7, and I had no problems with printing other docs, only pdf, but....
I was searching around other forums and came across this fix, hooray

However, if the permission is denied, click on edit tab and allow permissions. Then you can delete the device printer.
Then, I went back to control panel, devices and printers, selece the new printer as default and hip hip hooray.
Anyone else having problem where the new printer, or indeed a printer doesn't show on the printer dropdown selection list, can try and use the above method. It worked for me.

I deleted an adobe pdf driver from my print center and now my system won't recognize it so that I can add it again. What can I do to get the system to recognize?

Thanks for your response JJMack. I've just found out the problem. It seems that by putting the profiles in the > Recommended folder as well as in the > Profiles folder this seems to have disabled the profiles from displaying in the print dialog.
I'm not sure why but they are displaying fine now.
I'm new to this forum and I wonder if you know if there is a right place or method for sharing this information as I have spent the best part of two hours this afternoon wrestling with this?

Why does printer not show in Printer Folder after installation?

     Printer is the original OJ 6500 E709n operating with Windows 7 64-bit.
     Printer had been working well wireless, but began to not work with wireless.
     Reinstalled driver software, and everything installs OK without error. Printer test page prints OK.
     Installation software says that installation was successful, and I click FINISH to end.
     But there is no OJ6500 icon in the Printer folder. There used to be one.
     When I install for use with USB, a printer icon appears like normal.
     What needs to be done to be able to use this printer wireless?

This article states that if your printer is not listed you can't airprint from your idevice but I have printed from my Ipad to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 in the past but now, all of sudden, I no longer can't. ZSRT is a customised condition which you have created. So to bring that condition in print preview you have to talk to your ABAPER , so that he can incorporate this condition type to his customised print preview program. If your tax register is also customised then again you have to communicate to the ABAPER.

Read the installation instructions in your printer's user manual. Most USB printers must be connected to the computer first because they are classified as Plug-n-Play. Once the printer is recognized you should them be prompted for the location

Installed HP Color Laserjet 3600n software but does not show in model list

Recently installed the HP software for my Color Laserjet 3600n on my MAc OS X 10.5.5 laptop. The software says it is installed successfully, but when I try to set it up for printing via IP address, it says the ip address is valid, but at the bottom, iwhen I choose select drivers, my model does not show in the list.
Any thoughts?

What IP printing protocol did you try, and what does it say to use in the manual?
Since it's not a postscript printer, I wonder if it uses More Printers > HP IP? (instead of IP printer)

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're users here and do not speak for "Apple Inc."
Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
     If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
     If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
     Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently?

Old All-Day events not showing in Calendar List View

Reviewing events in my Calendar on the iPhone and have noticed that All Day Events that are older than one year do not show in the "List" view
For example, I have all my holidays in a calendar called "Vacation". Month and Day view list holidays from earlier than today (09 Sept 2008) properly, however list view shows nothing. Timed events (e.g. day trips) in the same calendar show.
Similarly no Birthdays appear in the past. I can see a case for Birthdays being omitted in the past, but not other events (e.g. wanting to know exactly when you went to that all day wedding last summer)

I have this same exact problem. For me, past events that have a specific time associated with them show up in List view; however, past events that are all day events only show in List view once in a blue moon only. Apple support has been absolutely clueless about this issue. They just tell me it's weird and they have no explanation. It's unbelievably annoying though.
