My printer wants to print 99 copies everytime

My printer recently started to go to 99 copies everytime I put something in to print. HOw can I change it so it goes to 1 automatically?

First of all, what model of printer is this?
Are you printing from a computer or are you making copies using the front panel on the printer (if yours is a all-in-one)?
If from a computer, what is the OS and version and did you install full driver for it or just plug-and-play?
You mentionmed looked at "the printer as fax", I am assuing that's not the one you used to print. Look at the other one that you use for print.

What excel version are you using?
Perhaps you can try this;
Open the Spreadsheet with the data you need and hold down the Ctrl key while highlighting the area of the document you want to print out.
GO to Page Layout go to Print Area button andSet Print Area… .
go to Print Titles… I think is the last option on the ribbon but I can be wrong,
click on Print Preview. Now you should be able to preview the area that you are trying to printout.
You can actually add by selecting the area and using add to print area option.

If you are printing via a Windows shared printer and it is the Windows user account that you are being prompted for then you can save this in the Keychain, as shown below.

HP printer will not print multiple copies of docs using new HP Pavilion HPE Series PC.

I purchased a new HP desktop computer with Windows 7. I connected my existing HP laser jet printer to the new PC and the drivers installed successfully. When I want to print multiple copies of a document the printer only prints one copy and stops. I can print multiple copies on my Kodak color printer from the new PC. I did not have this problem with my old PC. The issue only exists between the new PC and the existing HP laserjet printer. I have checked all printer preferences and settings to no avail. Any suggestions for further trouble-shooting?

I want to print only the last message in a thread of messages

I have to keep hard copies of e mails.
The problem is that as a trhead gets added to it means the print outs get longer and longer and are of course repatative
Is there a setting that allows me to only print the most recent mail in a thread?

Have you tried to open the last message in a new window?
If that includes the messages you do not want to print, you could limit the printing to e.g. the first page (in the print dialog).

A Print Bug -- PSE9 -- Print NN Copies Of Each Image

I finally figured out what is happening when one sets the NN to 2 (or 3 etc). It sets
the printer drivers "copies" count. This is just plain WRONG!!!
If I am printing 2 5x7's on an 8.5x11 page and I select one photo and "2 Copies"
I get 2 pages each with a 5x7 print on it -- I want one page with 2 5x7 prints on it.
A bit more proof on this -- I have one printer driver (which prints to a .pdf file) which
does not support "copies N" and PSE9 no longer lets me select 2/3 etc for NN copies
of each image.
This is a real bad one for me -- I often want two copies of one photo, one for me and
one for a family member in the photo -- I cannot do it -- or I have found no way to do it.

I have PSEv.8, and it allows me to print 2 5x7" on one page - letter size - from within the program

Printer changes number of copies

hp officejet J4680 - printer wants to change the number of copies I request - I only want one and it changes that instruction to 6 or 8 or 7 - whatever it feels like - anyone had this problem?

Typically, for the number of Copies, you can set it to what you want as default by going to Copy>Settings>Set and New defaults.
If you want to reset this setting, you can go to Setup>Tools>Restore Factory Defaults.

whenever i print it stays there, and doesnt disspear everytime automatically

When you print your next document, right click or control click on the printer icon in the Dock. This will provide you with a menu of options. One of them is Auto Quit. Select it. Quit the printer queue and then print another document. The printer "app" will now quit after a successful print.

ITCPO-TDCOPIES has been defined as type INT1(1 Byte) and it can take upto 255 no of copies. Can someone suggest me if i want to print more no of copies i.e more than 255 how to go about it?
ITCPO has to be passed to Function Module 'OPEN_FORM' inside where ITCPO is moved to ITCPP.

Depending on the number of copies required, divide that number into groups of 255. Put your print routines within a DO loop for that many times as the number of groups you calculated.

I installed 4.0 and cannot print anything. I uninstalled and installed 3.6 and cannot print anything. Everything has a .tif extension and wants me to save the file and I just want to print a selection from my email!

I have had nothing but grief since I upgraded to 4. It is hateful. I can't print anything. If I highlight something from a website or my email and tell the printer to just print the selection, it doesn't print. It wants me to save the the file and they all have a .tif extension and nothing will print. I have uninstalled 4 and gone back to 3.6 and the problem is still there. If I highlight the desired selection and copy it to Word 2003, it will print what I want, but I can't print anything from the browser itself. That is the only problem I'm aware of so far. Thank you, but it didn't work. My printer stays on away, independently of the PC. I can print from Chrome and IE7 with no problem but not Firefox. The .tif extension refers to a tagged image something. I went looking around in the control panel and I found that Microsoft Office has it's own Access Snapshot Viewer. My company installed Office 2003 on my PC but I only use Word in my work. This snapshot viewer was listed in the control panel under Printers and Faxes. It was not the default anything but for some reason, Firefox 4 installation must have kicked it into gear. I've had the Office software for several months with not one problem. I have Firefox4 for less than a week and everything becomes difficult. I deleted the Office snapshot viewer (hope I don't get fired for it) so my little HP printer is the only one listed and now things seem to be working okay. I have FF 3.6 back up and running. I didn't lose any data and I hope the support and security updates stay available for a long time because it seems like there are plenty of people who aren't in love with FF4. After looking at a few of the links I found a mathematical equation that assisted me.
Inches = Pixels/DPI
eg: 3 inches = 300 pixels/100 DPI
Using this equation and the fact that iPhone 4s takes photos that are 3264 x 2448 I was able to work out the largest print I could make with 300 DPI.
Width 3264 pix/ 300 DPI = 10.88 inches
Height 2448 pix/ 300 DPI = 8.16 inches
Therefore, the largest print (with 300DPI) I can make of these photos is 10.88 inches x 8.16 inches.
Which is great!
So is it critical for me to change the dpi in say photoshop or does it not matter as long as I don't go above the 10.88 inches x 8.16 inches?
From what I can gather the smaller I resize the photo the higher the DPI and the bigger I stretch the photo the lower the DPI?

I don't think you can connect a printer since you won't have the printer drivers. I use FingerPrint from collobos.com to print to my non-AirPrint printers.
