I have an HP laserJetProCM1415fnwcolorMFP
it wont print my documents, pictures in color, but it will allow me to photocopy in color.
Please help I have feature sheets to do.

Did you choose "Print in Grayscale" when you print? Please check your print setting.
If not, I would like you to suggest you to reinstall the software and get a firmware update in case if color options is not enabled.

Pandora will not play in Firefox, but it will play in Chrome and IE. In Firefox, it loads the initial Pandora page, which just says Pandora. In Chrome and IE, it then loads the player automatically. In Firefox it just sits there on the initial page that just says "Pandora," and it never loads the player. My Flash Player is updated, and I cleared all the caches... not sure what the problem is. Can anyone help?

    1.    First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
    2.    If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings).You should also try restarting your router.
    3.    If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

Font will not bold in InDesign, but it will in powerpoint? Help.

Hi, I am still new to Indesign. I am creating a brochure and I need to bold the font "Edwardian Script ITC". I have used this font in powerpoint and I can bold it there, but I am not seeing this option in Indesign. Why? Is there a way to get it to bold?

Off the top of my head I would assume your Edwardian Script font does not have a bold instance of the font. Microsoft’s software will frequently will fake it. But a program like InDesign will not. It wants a true bold instance of the font so that you have no problem when it comes to output your file for professional printing.

there is nothing more to add.... links from a wide variety of sources simply do not open up firefox and open the website like they used to. I can copy the links and paste them into firefox and they will open.

this answer does not help at all. It tells me how to change my mail client for outgoing mail. I use iCal from mac, which is the default mail program, and it works well for me. The problem is with INCOMING mail that contains clickable links that will not open the page in firefox. When I click them nothing happens. iCal and Firefox used to play together just fine; now firefox doesn't answer when I click a link sent to me and received in my iCal.

Organizer will not open after downloading, but Editor will

When I downloaded the trial and after purchasing the product, Organizer will not work properly. I cannot open it at all; however, Editor opens and works just fine. My Mac is completely up to date and I'm not sure what else I can do.

Bypass the Unwelcome Screen by creating Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor, and restarting your computer.
The Editor's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The Unwelcome Screen leaves a zombie process running which prevents the actual program from launching again.

HT4528 About 30 minutes ago, my iphone 4 screen just went white. It still shows the time, signal and battery at the top, but everything else is white. I can't receive calls/text messages. My phone will not lock or turnoff, but it will charge. HELP!!

I don't know what to do. My iPhone 4 just all of a sudden had a blank white screen. It still shows the bar at the top with the signal, time, and battery life. But the rest of the screen is white. If I touch the screen it acts like it's selecting something and gives me the choice to "Copy". It will still charge when I plug it up, but i cannot turn it off or lock the screen. I tried leaving it alone for awhile to see if it will lock on its own, like it normally would, and all it does is dim the screen. I guess im going to try to just let it die, and then see what happens, but if anyone else has any suggestions (other than taking it in to be looked at or getting a new phone) I would greatly appreciate it!

Any number of things could have caused the phone to do this. If after the reset you are experiencing additional problems, the next step in the troubleshooting process is a restore from a backup. Make sure you have one before you start the restore process. If that does not improve things, then you may have to restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data off the phone. Make sure all of your pictures are imported to the computer and all other data is synced to supported applications on the computer before restoring as new. Safari in both MacOS 10.6.8 and Windows 7 will not open PowerPoint SlideShows but Firefox Will

Having Created a PowerPoint Slide Show I find that it cannot be shown with Safari neither in Mac nor Windows 7.
The error message in Windows 7 is: "WebKitErrorDomain error 102"
The error message in Mac OS 10.6.8 is "Frame Load Interrupted."
The exact same Slide Show is easily shown with Firefox 28.0 in the Mac and Firefox 27.0.1 in Windows 7

I'm assuming you mean the Early 2008 iMac since there is no "late 2008" one. AFAIK, it came with 2 GB of RAM standard & the common BTO option would have been 4 GB, so can we assume that you have installed an aftermarket memory module to get to 3 GB?
I've already had it serviced, and was told that the issue was resolved, and was unrelated to hardware. Fifteen minutes after repair and setup, the exact same symptoms occur.
What repair and setup? Is this something you did after getting the iMac back from service? If so, what exactly did you do?
I had no initial problems with the install of either os (mac or windows), except to note that I couldn't install the apple software updates on the windows side.
Do you mean the Windows drivers or something else? Did you follow the Bootcamp install procedure exactly when reinstalling Windows or not?
I switched back over to mac to look for and install a video firmware download that I had located through these same forums.
What video firmware download do you mean? AKAIK, there are none for early 2008 iMacs.
No offense intended, but it is hard to understand exactly what you have done because while you mention much, you don't say a lot about the specifics for a lot of that. In general, it is best to concentrate on those things & keep the commentary to a minimum.

Newsstand will not display my magazine but ipad will

I have a subscription to The Economist magazine. Their app when downloaded for the iPad displays it on a shelf in Newsstand. The app for iPhone does not appear there but on the main screen and I do not see any way to put in the Newsstand.
Any suggestions?

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

WO in IW33 will not show Functional area # but IW32 will-causing CAT2 issue

When staff is entering time in CAT2, they get an error stating that "Functional Area is Required."
In IW32 when we open the WO the Functional Area on the Additional Data tab is populated, but when we open the same WO in IW33 the Functional Area field is not populated.
Any suggestion on why this is occuring.

Safari will not bookmark web sites but Firefox will do so

I am using 10.4.8 on a PPC iMac and have discovered recently that Safari does not save new bookmarks for me. I go to Firefox and Firefox will do so. Any suggestions?

Hi,
It sounds like your bookmarks file might have become corrupt.
Before checking the bookmarks file, trash the Safari preferences file just to make sure that is not affecting things:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
If that makes no difference, try this:
1 Export your Safari bookmarks via the Safari File menu -> Export Bookmarks...
2 Quit Safari
3 Move /Users/YourUsername/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist onto your Desktop
4 Restart Safari and use File menu -> Import Bookmarks... to import the bookmark file you saved in step 1.
If that does allow you to save sites again, you can trash the Bookmarks.plist file you moved to the Desktop in step 3.
